My dog does have some nerves in new places, but her warmed right up to her and her home! I would definitely recommend Kelly to anyone who needs this service and would use her again myself.”

About: I’ve had furbabies of every size and breeds since I was a child. Horses, dogs, cats and other large mammals. Never met an animal that doesn’t love me. The feelings are mutual. I am retired, and love fur babies to keep me company and help me stay active. I do require animals be vaccinated and spade/neutered. Not taking cats due to allergies. I have a fenced yard, room to roam, a small furbaby of my own. Furbabies can be crated or sleep where they choose. Always indoor at night.

“Say third times the charm. Used a couple of sitters since I’ve been here. Won’t speak much on those experiences but Yetta was by far the most comfortable safest experience I’ve received. She will be my permanent sitter while I’m here so she comes highly recommended. Good size yard. Went out of her way to get my boy his extra food even though I deemed it unnecessary. Your pup will be in great hands here.”

About: I have cared for dogs for many years. I can walk, feed, and play with dogs of different sizes and personalities. I will treat your pet like my own and make sure they feel safe and loved. It's a large part of my daily routine. I have three dogs, all different breeds, which means I take care of them differently because of their different personalities. I have a part-time job; however I work a maximum of 6 hours and I am free before and after work. Right now, I don't offer in-home care at my residence; however, when caring for a client's pet, their safety is my priority. I make sure fences and doors are secure and pay close attention to any illnesses or special needs.

Her communication was a 10/10 she sent daily updates, photos, and even surprised us with adorable holiday pictures of our pups by the Christmas tree. Such a thoughtful touch! Her home was spotless, our boys were clearly comfortable and happy, and she truly went above and beyond in every way. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Honestly, 10/10. We will definitely be booking with her again. Highly, highly recommend!”

About: I grew up on a farm with cats, dogs, pigs, goats and horses! I worked with a breeder so I have lots of experience with puppies and mothers. Most dogs I've spent time with are high energy dogs like Australian shepard's but I've also spent time with low energy like Saint Bernards. I am a travel occupational therapist currently taking a break from moving around. Currently not working so I am very free! I love morning walks. I live in a camper but your fur baby will not be home alone! Our campground has a fenced dog run and I would love to visit some parks if comfortable. I can visit your pet within their home at any time of day.

From raising my own dogs to pet sitting for family and friends, I've always enjoyed giving dogs the love, attention, and care they deserve. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I'm committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. I currently offer: 🐶 Boarding 🐶 Doggy Day Care 🐶 House Sitting 🐶 Drop-In Visits 🐶 Dog Walking My home in Armona has a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and enjoy plenty of outdoor time. Whether your pup loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with lots of belly rubs, I'll make sure they receive personalized care and plenty of attention. I don't currently have dogs of my own, which allows me to focus completely on the pets in my care. I do have young children who love animals and have been taught to be gentle and respectful around them. For everyone's safety, all interactions between children and pets are closely supervised, and I only accept dogs that are comfortable in a family environment. While you're away, I'll send regular photo and video updates so you can see your pup having fun, relaxing, and receiving the love and attention they deserve. About: Hello, my name is Zoey and I am 22 years old. A little bit about me is I love children and pets alike and will treat both the same. I’m aspiring to become an elementary school teacher and I have a 6 year old daughter and a 10 month old babygirl! I have always been around animals growing up, I had 6 dogs in my house growing up and my grandma was a crazy cat lady who constantly had strays hanging around. I have one cat named Mainfluff who is as gentle as a baby but he mostly stays outside. I also have a male golden retriever pup named Moose and a female doberman pup named Ash! I will love your pet (s) as if they were my own! I am a mother to a 6 year old girl and a 10 month old babygirl. I work at a school so I leave the house at around 7:30 a.m most days and get home around 3-4 p.m. My husband works full time but has about 2 days off each week so those days he’d be home all day. I love animals and based on your pet and their needs, I will adapt to meet them. I am completely okay with walks, outside time, park visits, car rides, baths, etc. I will play with them as much as you or they want and I am perfectly fine with cuddling on them as if they were mine!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.

94% of sitters in Remnoy can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Remnoy home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
  • Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Remnoy.

Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Remnoy. On Rover:

  • 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 94% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

You and your Remnoy sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
