About: HELLO ...... My story started at a young age. I was blessed with the gift of communicating with God's magnificent creatures. In my well-traveled journey, I have gained working vet tech experience, knowledge, and wisdom that spans over 30 years. My family and I founded a sanctuary for animals in Washington State that the SPCA recognized. We rescued, rehabilitated, trained, and provided education classes for the care and proper nutrition of all creatures, great and small. We have worked tirelessly with the SPCA for the welfare and prevention of animal cruelty and care. So whether you are traveling for work, relocating or pleasure we are here to help care for your fur baby. I am a single grandmother raising my only granddaughter, I wanted her to experience the unconditional love God's creatures can bring to her daily life. I am blessed to have my granddaughter work alongside me in this business venture. Rover has allowed me to grow my passion and experience into a loving home business in the Birmingham Area. I am a home-based professional dog care specialist so I can be a hands-on grandmother while raising my granddaughter. So I try to be as flexible and accommodating for upcoming visits ( personal schedule permitting), Thank you, Stevie. I have a very dog-friendly fenced yard that your fur baby can have easy access to throughout their visit. Plus walkable neighborhood with parks for socialization, exercise, and play.

“Very good!”

About: I’m an animal lover and enthusiast who has grown up taking care of all types of pets and worked in the veterinary medicine industry since I was 17 years old. I’m comfortable with pets of all kinds, and because of my job I am comfortable administering medication of all types, including injections. I’m also very willing to work with the more “troublesome” pets. I’m currently in school getting my veterinary technician certification and need help making some extra money on the side. I hope you consider me to take care of and love your fur babies❤️ I currently work part time at a vet clinic and my Classes are usually done by early afternoon so I will have more than enough time to take care of your fur babies as needed. With my working background I am comfortable with any food restrictions, medications, walking, crating, and care your pet may need to be happy and comfortable. I will make sure to give meds, food, and specific care instructions extra attention as needed.

“Very pleasant, well spoken young lady. My puppers seem to like her and I like that they are not home alone all day. Very pleased and will continue to hire her for my babies.”

“Katelyn was a big help with my fur baby after I had surgery and couldn’t walk him by myself for several days , Chuck came back from his walks exhausted honestly I can’t say enough good things about Katelyn she was responsible had great communication and even made sure Chuck and I had everything we needed situated before she left”

About: If pets, especially dogs, were at a social gathering when I was child, I could usually be found with them. That is actually often still true! A sense of companionship with animals began for me at a young age and continued through my teen years when I had a golden retriever named Sammy and cared for my aunt's animals (dogs, cats, sometimes chickens) when she was out of town, on into adulthood when I became the regular dog sitter for two geriatric dogs belonging to an older couple who became like another set of grandparents when I was in college. I worked on basic training for my own dog with my aunt's help and am eager to learn more about dog training as I gain more experience. I would like to incorporate the experience I already have as well as additional experience I gain into positive care for your pet, adding to their quality of life as they so beautifully add to ours! I am currently working from home and have a flexible schedule into which caring for your pet is a welcome part of my routine during the week! I am generally available Monday through Friday during typical work hours, with earlier care occasionally available. I will sometimes be available on Saturday mornings and afternoons, though this availability will not be as frequent as Monday through Friday. I welcome detailed care instructions for your pet and how they function inside and around your home. If you have boundaries for where your pet goes inside or outside the home, I will work to uphold those. Also, please let me know of anything that I need to keep an eye out for, like destructive chewing habits or signs of stress that you know your pet has exhibited in the past so I can inform you promptly. I also am happy to use specific commands that your pet responds to and practice any training you want reinforced while visiting with your pet.

About: My whole life has been blessed with the love of furry babies. From puppies/kittens to senior babies, their love and happiness has shown my that my souls purpose is to love and be loved by animals. I strive everyday to make my own furry children's lives full of love and show them how grateful we are to have them in our lives and the furry babies that we will be lucky enough to care for will feel the same love and gratitude. I am currently taking time off my full-time travel job so I'm home to take care of your fur babies whenever! Daily walks to check ins to boarding, I am here for them whenever they need me. Our home is open to everyone! We have two loving puppies and four kitties that are all welcoming and up for meeting new friends. Our yard is not fenced (yet!) and our dogs are walked each day and walked around the yard for them to do their business. I am available for drop ins as well and will stay as long as the furry parents would allow (there is NO smoking in our house)!!

About: I have worked in the veterinary field for over a decade, and in animal rescue before that. I grew up in a household with an array of pets- birds, rodents, fish, dogs, cats, rabbits- and have had dogs, cats, and a chicken on my own. Even in college, I had a pet fish because I missed having a critter companion! I love senior pets (the oldies are the goodies), pets with disabilities, one eye, no teeth, etc. I provide pet sitting in your home (no overnights), so your pets can stay where they are most comfortable! I am conscious about locking up your home, sending an update and/or photo of your pet, and following your instructions for your pet’s care. I can let dogs out in your own yard, or we can take a walk around the block. I will spend some time cuddling or playing with your cats (if they like company!). **Feel free to message me with any questions if there is something missing on my profile, or if you would like to verify specific dates or pet care services. My schedule is fairly flexible, and I am typically available over holidays and weekends. I can accommodate once a day visits, and sometimes can come by twice a day. I double check that all pets are accounted for prior to leaving your home - and will notify you if I did not see a pet during my visit. Since cats are super adept at hiding, I like to know their typical hangout spots before you leave so that I can look for them there. I verify that I have secured my entrance/exit points and will send photos or videos locking up so that you can also share this peace of mind.

She’s experienced in dog walking and pet sitting, whether it’s for a quick walk while their owner is at work or extended care while they’re out of town. She’s responsible, attentive, and always goes the extra mile to ensure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Any dog would be lucky to have Lindsay as their walker, and any pet parent can rest easy knowing their furry friend is in the best hands!”

Kera L.
“Kera hosting your dogs while you are out of town is truly what Rover is all about. SO MUCH BETTER than leaving your dog at the vet or a big boarding facility. I absolutely cannot say enough praise about how wonderful it was to get one on one attention for my dog while I was away in Japan. Being so far away for an extended period of time made me really have to do some researching before selecting who would watch Layla (my adorable 5 year old maltipoo) while I would be away. Kera and Layla had such a good time together and it all went so well. Thank you again for keeping her, Kera!!”
