“Lynnette is one of the best I've seen with animals. My dog Mavis is a retired service dog. She is temperamental and slow to warm to people. Lynnette is the first person I've seen Mavis interact with who could sit with and pet her, in the first 5 minutes. Mavis was so at home with Lynnette and tried to guard Lynnette when I arrived to bring her home. Lynnette played, walked, and relaxed with Mavis. She sent me updates, pictures, and videos of Mavis having a wonderful vacation. She has an enclosed yard that allows dogs to safely explore outside. I highly recommend Lynnette!”

“Caitlin stayed with our senior dog for a week over the Christmas holiday. She made time to meet our dog ahead of time and spent time with us getting to know our routines. She did an excellent job keeping us updated and sent lots of pictures. Our dog takes multiple medications and eye drops. Caitlin was able to handle all of them with no problems. Our house was very well taken care of and clean when we got back. I am looking forward to working with Caitlin in the future!”

About: Hello, I’m Kat. I LOVE Dogs!!! I have worked professionally with dogs my entire life. I am a private dog groomer, trainer, caretaker and I specialize in off leash hikes on our private trails. Leashes are also welcome as needed. Guest dogs stay in the house with me and my two fun loving and respectful dog pals and are treated like family. We send regular photo updates so you can be assured your dog is having a wonderful time. I mostly work from home, there are days when I need to be away but never for more than four hours. We do a daily four mile hike, off-leash, though leashes are welcome also. Guest dogs are treated like family. I’ve got two fun-loving and respectful dogs who are accustomed to guests. It’s a dog party everyday! We do a daily four mile off-leash hike, which of course can be leashed as necessary. For the most part all the dogs go with me on trips to town etc. Guests usually bring a crate for their private sleeping den. Guests bring their own food. I liberally utilize yummy treats to encourage great behavior. Pet parents can be assured that I have decades of experience in dog handling including vet experience and I am great at noticing the small things with dog health and behavior. My clients quickly become extended family!

About: I have an adorable cat who I love so very much where I live currently I can’t have a dog so I want to combine my love for taking walks with my love for dogs/animals. I work weekends, but my weekdays are free! I had a dog my entire life aside from moving to California I trained my German Shepherd and learned techniques for proper walking. About: I’ve been a dedicated dog person for my entire life. I’ve trained dogs to become truffle hunters and carnivore trackers but I don’t discriminate - I love ALL the dogs just the way they are. I’ve been a proud dog mom and recently lost my beloved pup, so am looking to fill that hole with other people’s dogs on a part time basis for a while, and to try out living in different areas of Mendocino County as I settle in here. I’m a full time Development Director for a local marine science non-profit with a good work-from-home and dog friendly policy. Your pet would be my companion full time, if they are able to accompany me during meetings and time at the office. I can work from your home if there is high speed internet on a full time basis, as well. I have a crate at my home and my place where I live is fully fenced in and good for dogs. My car is set up for a dog, and I am vigilant about giving your pup plenty of exercise and keeping them fulfilled and cared for with a full time watchful eye.

About: I have many years experience in caring for client pets and farm animals! I have house-sat at many homes for dogs of many breeds, cats, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, and more. I volunteer at the animal shelter in my free time and enjoy walking and caring for the animals there. I work remotely from my laptop, so I am very flexible and can work from your home as long as there is reliable wifi. I generally make my own daily schedule so I can fit in feedings, walks, medications, etc with your pet's routine schedule. For house-sits, I always take thorough notes from the owners, and happily check in as often or seldom as requested to ensure the owners are comfortable with their pet's experience while they are away.
