About: I've taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was a young child. The only time I didn't have a dog in my care was when I was in college living in dorm rooms, and even then I went to the local shelter to walk and love on puppies while mine were back home. I have experience training dogs and caring for puppies. I love all dogs, big, small and everything in-between! I am a stay at home Mom right now with young children. My schedule is pretty open except when I'm running around to pick a youngin' up a few times a day! I'd love to fill my extra time with helping care for your fur babies! I currently have three dogs of my own and all are big dogs. We have a nice, safe, fenced in backyard great for running around. I am willing to help your fur baby however you see best to make them and you most comfortable.

“Megan was great. I had a good experience. This was my first time leaving my dog with someone. She sent me pictures of him. I was late in picking up my puppy and she was ok with it. I would definitely recommend and leave my puppy with her in the future.”

About: ***Please check my Rover calendar for availability before sending a request.*** DOGS MUST BE CRATE TRAINED FOR BEDTIME. Thank you for visiting my Rover Page! We are so excited to give your dog the love and affection they deserve while you are away! I haven't met a dog I didn't love. We are a dog loving family all around. We are a young family who will provide a "family experience" for your dog. They will come with us on our weekend adventures and cuddle next to us during family movie night. We have our own 2 very friendly dogs that will entertain and play with your dog as part of their doggy vacation:) My husband and I have owned dogs our whole lives and think of them as part of our family. Our love for furry friends has only grown being a part of the Rover community!!! Being a dog owner, I understand what it means to have to leave your dog when going on vacation or out of town. It's hard to find someone to trust that will love your dog as much as you do. I give our guest dog's the same love, affection and attention that I give my own dogs. I try to make them feel comfortable in their new environment so they miss you that much less. My goal is to make your dog feel like they are being loved and a part of our family. We live in a great area with a fenced in yard. If your dog likes to play fetch and get lots of exercise our house is the place to be! We are constantly playing with and keeping our doggy guests occupied. Please feel free to message me with any concerns or questions! ****Please make sure your dog is up to date with vaccines and flea/tick treatment before drop off. WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CARE FOR ANY DOGS THAT ARE NOT WELL SOCIALIZED WITH OTHER DOGS. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY DOGS THAT EXHIBIT ANY SIGNS OF AGGRESSION TOWARDS OTHER DOGS OR PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY CHILDREN. About: I’d be happy to host your pup! I have had family dogs since I was young and have been a walker & sitter for years. I also have experience with horses and chickens. About: I work from home full time. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and I am very prepared and experienced taking care, bathing, and providing for dogs, as I own a labradoodle myself. I also have grown up with 4 dogs my entire life so I am well equipped to take care of them! About: Choosing me as your pet sitter means your pets will receive top-notch care and attention. With a deep love for animals and experience in pet sitting, I ensure a safe and loving environment for your furry friends. I’m reliable, responsible, and attentive to each pet’s unique needs, providing regular updates for your peace of mind. Your pets will enjoy plenty of playtime, exercise, and affection, making their time away from you as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I work from home full time Monday through Friday 8AM -4PM. During my shift I have free time to let dogs out, play in the yard and give them a lot of affection and attention. Pet cameras are always on to monitor any movement, can crate dog if needed or they can be left to roam in the common areas free of any danger.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. My family and friends had pets but it wasn’t enough! I convinced my parents really young to get a dog and since then, I’ve taken care of and trained 3 dogs of my own. Friends and family that get pets often ask me for advice. I have a very nurturing personality and it translates well with animals, so I absolutely love them! I have experience training and basic grooming/bathing! I work remotely so I am home and available to take care of your furry friend :) I will ensure that I know your animal’s temperament/likes/dislikes in order to make both of us comfortable! I’m very attentive and know how to distract/entertain needy animals (from experience haha). I do not have a fenced yard but I do have a spike that goes into the ground that is secure and has a long leash. Other than that, I have a dog friendly neighborhood that we can take walks around!

About: Hello there! I'm Razelle, your local dog walker reporting for duty! I'm here to make sure your pup gets the best care possible. I currently do remote work and have found plenty of dedicated time to do something I really enjoy on the side. As a certified Rover pro, I provide all sorts of services. From dog walking to house sitting and drop-in visits. But what sets me apart from the rest of the sitters is my passion for your dog’s well-being. I've had countless reviews on Rover and other platforms commenting that I treat their dog as my own. If you have training regimes or a set schedule, you can count on me to get it done! I also incorporate basic obedience training during our walks [if requested]. I teach simple commands like "Heel," "Look," and "Sit" to keep your pup focused and obedient, even in the face of distractions. This can be important when facing unexpected encounters! FRIENDLINESS WITH OTHERS REQUIRED: Safety is a top priority for me, as I understand that your dog's well-being is of the utmost importance to you. For this reason, I am unable to care for dogs with a history of attacking other dogs or humans. Furthermore, if your dog exhibits any aggressive behavior during a visit, I will be unable to continue caring for them in the future. This policy ensures the safety of all dogs and humans in my care and allows me to provide the best possible service to you and your furry companion. WALKING SUPPLIES? To ensure that your dog's walk is safe and enjoyable, please make sure that your pup has a well-fitted collar or harness, and that you have poop bags and a leash at the ready. While shoes are not required, I recommend them for added safety and comfort during your dog's adventure. Thank you for helping me provide the best possible care for your pup! Disclaimer: Ensuring that your dog's collar or harness is well-fitted is crucial to their safety during walks. If I determine that the collar or harness cannot be properly adjusted to fit your dog securely, I will be unable to walk your furry friend, as this increases the risk of your dog getting loose and running away. Please be mindful of the fit of your dog's collar or harness before scheduling a walk to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for your pup. SCHEDULE? Monday-Friday: 6 AM - 11 PM Weekends: 6 AM - 11 PM *Times subject to change according to the sunrise/sunset* --------------------------------------------------------------------- FAQ: *WILL YOU SEND UPDATES OF MY DOGS?* You betcha! At the end of every walk or stay, I'll send you a detailed report on how your furry friend fared. You can expect to see all the commands we used during our walk, the exciting experiences your pup had, and of course, plenty of adorable photos from our time together. Who knows, you might even find yourself printing out the report and hanging it up on your fridge for all to see! *I HAVE NEVER LEFT MY DOG BEFORE, WILL HE OR SHE BE OKAY?* It is natural for some dogs to experience separation anxiety when being cared for by someone new. As a professional dog walker, I do my utmost to ensure that each dog feels comfortable and at ease with plenty of interaction and attention. It is not uncommon for new surroundings to disrupt a dog's digestive system, resulting in loose stools. However, there is no cause for alarm as this is a normal reaction to a change in routine. Typically, after 1-2 visits, the dog's digestive system will adjust, and any issues will resolve. It is important to note that the level of reaction varies depending on the dog's unique personality and temperament. *WHAT IF MY DOG IS SPECIAL NEEDS?* I am able to care for nearly ALL special needs dogs! 1) Allergies: Please let me know of any beforehand! 2) Medicine: info must be written on a note alongside food, with dosage, etc. (non-medical injections such as insulin is okay. In the state of Virginia, medical/complex injections require specific qualifications/certifications, which I do not have.) 3) Diapers are okay 4) Blind or Deaf? I’ve cared for several blind/deaf dogs and they’re always great! 5) Paralyzed: I have experience with a pitbull who was paralyzed from the waste down due to an incident. I kept up with physical therapy, indoor accidents, cleaning/caring, hand feeding. 5) Something Else? Let me know *HOW WILL MY DOGS BE CARED FOR?* When caring for your pup during visits and stays, their personality is my top priority. I will adjust my activity level according to their specific needs to ensure their safety and comfort. In the case of inclement weather or unfortunate situations that may cause your pup to get dirty, rest assured that I will have a towel or wipes readily available to clean them up. You can trust that I will provide the utmost care for your furry friend. Disclaimer: Please note that dogs can learn from their canine companions during visits. However, I cannot be held responsible for any habits that your dog may pick up from other dogs. Additionally, I cannot be held liable if your dog decides to consume unusual debris or objects during our visit. It is essential to keep a close eye on your dog and guarantee their safety at all times. *GROOMING?* Although I don't do grooming myself, I don't mind picking up and dropping your dog off at your preferred groomer/grooming salon for $10 each way. Disclaimer: I am not responsible for any injuries/damages/harm the grooming salon may cause to your dog. Please make sure that this is a groomer/salon that you TRUST. --------------------------------------------------------------------- ABOUT MY DOG Meet Suki, my adorable 3 year old Blue Merle Border Collie! She's sweet as honey and loves everyone, including cats, dogs, and humans of all ages. I can't guarantee she won't lick you to death, but hey, that's just her way of saying hello! I'm pretty strict when it comes to Suki's diet and exercise routine. She gets fed twice a day with a slow feeder to avoid any mishaps, and I make sure to keep her brain active with mentally stimulating games when we're not out and about. Speaking of which, we hit the dog park 3-5 times a week and go on hikes and runs at the lake. Suki's a ball of energy and loves playing fetch, so be prepared to throw that ball a few times! Now, let me be honest with you. It's highly unlikely, but on occasion, Suki might come along for a walk or a drop-in visit and hang out in my car. Don't worry, she's super chill and won't leave any fur behind. But if you're not cool with it, just let me know, and I'll make sure she stays home, catching up on her favorite TV shows or something. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please don't hesitate to send me a message if you want to chat about your pet concerns and their needs. Again, I am home mostly all of the day. Anything else you would want to tell me I would love to hear! Monday: 6 AM - 11 PM Tuesday: 6 AM - 11 PM Wednesday: 6 AM - 11 PM Thursday: 6 AM - 11 PM Friday: 6 AM - 11 PM Saturday: 6 AM - 11 PM Sunday: 6 AM - 11 PM *Times subject to change depending on the sunrise/sunset* UNAVAILABLE DATES: August 11th, 17th, 2024 September 13th-15th, 2024 December [PENDING] As a professional pet sitter, I am willing to do some serious acrobatics to keep your home spick and span, even if your furry friend decides to have a little accident. Let me know what your preferences are, and I'll do my best to accommodate them!

“Rachel was super thorough even before our daycare day, reviewing our pup Shadow's instructions and asking questions about his breakfast time which would overlap with his drop-off which was super appreciated. Rachel and her fiance kept us updated with videos and great pictures of Shadow. Shadow had a great time with Dax, they were super fast friends and really wore eachother out. Shadow was tired for days afterwards from the exertion which was great for us. We will happily use them again for daycare or a longer stay.”

Being neighbors I relied on Cortney a lot and she always welcomed our pups with open arms, so much love, treats for days, and all the snuggles possible. She came multiple times a day to give them extra love and attention and I got so many picture updates I started to think they would love her more than me :) She’s a wonderful, caring, person who is more responsible than any person I’ve had watch after my pups. I know I can trust her to take care of my babies and give them all the attention they could ever want. While we are not neighbors anymore I wouldn’t ask anyone else to watch my pups other than her.”
