About: I grew up with animals and have been dog sitting for 16+ years. I’m experienced with puppies, training, senior care, and dogs of all personalities. I’ve also cared for other animals, including horses and household pets. I treat every animal like family and provide loving, attentive care! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I enjoy spending time with animals throughout the day, whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, or simply giving them companionship and attention. I’m flexible and happy to adjust my routine to meet each pet’s individual needs and schedule. I have two loving dogs at home who enjoy walks, hikes, retrieving, deer tracking, and swimming. During drop-in visits, I’m happy to feed, play with, walk, and give your pets plenty of attention and love while you’re away.
“Becky was so nice to us and helped us out in a pinch last minute. She went above and beyond for my senior dog, and even said hi to the cats that weren't on the bill. Highly recommend Becky!”

“Marissa was a fantastic sitter for Isla. She can be a shy kitty for strangers, but Marissa sent great photos her everyday, which means Isla warmed up to her quickly. It was a relief for us to know that our kitty was well looked after while we were gone. We will definitely try to book Marissa again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a good cat sitter. Thanks Marissa!”

About: I've grown up with dogs, cats, and other small animals in the home all my life. I also have years of experience with equine care. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets. I've had dogs of all ages, so I have experience with both seniors and puppies. Though I have a part-time job, my availability is still quite flexible. Your pet will be housed with mine and treated just as my own. I have a spacious fenced-in yard and plenty of indoor space. My two very friendly dogs will keep your fur baby company. Crates are also available if needed.
“Very reliable! Katie took excellent care of our cats, bearded dragon, frogs, hermit crab and fish while we were on vacation. She sent pictures every day and communicated about how they were doing.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I have been 8 years old. I have had dogs all of my life and am experienced with puppies and elderly dogs as well. PMs are better for me but I can be flexible as well. My dogs are crate trained but only while I am away from home. They walk well on leashesand also have a nice fenced in area to play in my yard. I am comfortable caring for your pet to your preference and your pet's preference.
“Maddie takes very good care of our cat Pixel. He doesn't usually like people but he even comes and sits on her lap during check ins. I'm glad we found Maddie and Rover.”

About: Let me know if your dog has any special needs, medications, or behaviors that I can account for or help with. I would love to help. If you have plants that need watering, mail, or packages that need to be brought in, I can help with that too! I'm retired and love traveling around Wisconsin and the world. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Redgranite. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
