About: I have always been an animal lover since childhood and have taken care of a variety of pets of all sizes! I've helped raise puppies, taken care of senior dogs, and helped train good walking, bathing, and bathroom habits. Most animals respond very well to me. Also being a bigger person I have no trouble dealing with larger dogs. Very experienced in all areas of pet care. I am at home this summer until my college classes start in the fall to continue my degree in early childhood education. Weekends or evenings are not a problem for house sitting. Drop by mid-day walks anytime I'm available! I have a lot of availability and would love to spend my time with animals giving them quality care and attention. I am more than happy to watch your pets while you are away on vacation or gone for the day. I Can do drop bys or overnights depending on your preference and your animals needs. I have a large fenced yard that is great for animals if you need boarding. I have reliable transportation to get to and from. I can take them on walks in your neighborhood or go to a local dog park if you prefer. Very open to working with what is best for your animal. I have my own dogs at home but will leave them there while caring for your animal(s) unless you would like the socializing. We have two friendly larger male dogs that love to meet new dogs if you are interested in doggy day care or boarding. Our home has a large size dog door for pets to access the house at their convenience.

I am well versed in medication and dietary restrictions as my dogs have had a variety of allergy related problems I've had to solve and also am good with leash training as my younger dog is very excitable and too happy (strong) so he has had to learn some leash manners. I full-heartedly trusted Aurora the minute she reached out to me to communicate care plans, and always messaged me for questions. She was really great with taking care of my needy cat, and I would strongly recommend her to anyone needing a sitter. I will definitely be calling on Aurora again when needed.”

About: I've taken care of pets since I was a kid bottle-feeding my family's kitten and training our puppy to heel. I'm always excited when neighbors and friends ask me to watch their pets, and go the extra mile to make sure they don't feel lonely or bored while their people are away. I can keep up with detailed schedules and don't mind the "gross" chores of cleaning up messes and administering medication. I keep my schedule pretty loose and flexible, and am able to make room for availability. Feel free to contact me for more specifics or to discuss any openings. I am always sure to let a pet get used to me, my scent, and my presence when I first meet them. Their comfort and safety is my priority, and I will put in extra effort to learning the details of how they need to be cared for.

About: Hello, my name is Kat and I work as a Registered Veterinary Technician and am currently looking to spend some extra hours caring for your dog, cat, farm or exotic pet. I have 10+ years experience in the veterinary field and a lifetime of experience loving and caring for animals. I'm comfortable working with animals with certain behavioral issues or treating for medical issues. I do work during the day on some weekdays and Saturdays so I would only be able to do morning and evening drop ins for 4 days out of the week and can spend nights for house sitting. I am available all day on Sundays and 2 other days of the week. I am unable to do dog boarding at home as our cat has some medical issues and I do not want to stress him out. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pet! In the client's home, I will always be respectful and courteous of both the home and the pet. I am happy to also water plants, bring in the mail or any other home care need while you are away. I will make sure to provide a lot of attention, treats and pets to any furbaby under my care.

About: We have both had dogs and cats our entire lives and cared for them alone for most of our adult years. We currently are without a pet, and would love to spend time with yours to get our fill! We love to spend time outside and can take active dogs on long hikes or to spend time in the dog park. Older dogs or indoor cats will find a loving lap to cuddle on and a friendly belly rub whenever they want. Whitney works during the day and Pablo works in the evenings, so your pets will have someone home with them almost all day and night. We are both full-time students during the school year. Whitney is working on a wildlife biology degree and Pablo is getting his second bachelor's degree in music education. If you need someone to just be present with your pet and keep them company, we have plenty of homework we can sit and do while we spend time with them. We are willing to do drop-in visits as well as spend the night. Unfortunately, our building doesn't allow pets so we can't bring the pets home with us. I go to school a few days a week but rarely for the entire day. I work part-time and virtually, so I have plenty of time to drop in on your pets, take dogs for walks, and make sure the cat has food and water. I can crate pets in needed, and will always make sure they are fed. If your pet has a series of tricks for enrichment, I will be happy to work through them all with them. I can take dogs on long or short walks and to the park, and can also just spend time with them in their yard. Whitney works 9-5 and Pablo works as a server in the evenings, so usually one of us can usually be in your home at any time. We both have experience with older and/or disabled pets as well as puppies and kittens. We will treat your fur babies like they are our own.

About: Starting at an early age I have been caring and loving animals from my home, to volunteer work, and eventually to a professional level. I have experience working with animals with various behavioral, health conditions and other needs while establishing a very patient and gentle way of caring for them. I have been an animal care-taker on farms for various animals, worked with animals in shelters and most recently, a vet assistant for 1.5 years. My deep love and compassion for all animals brings me to naturally work with them so well and effortlessly. Being a life-long fur mama, you can trust your babies will be in the safest hands! For the moment, my schedule is focused on animal care-taking. If you are looking for a regular or occasional pet sitter, I can be available. I do have a food business I am creating, so there may be some days or times of the month I am not available, but check my schedule and I know we can find a time and way to make it work for us both. My services offer caring for your pets in your home. Based on your request and needs for your animals, I will fulfill all the care-taking needs. If your animal needs a little extra love and socializing, I will always provide that. Some animals can be unsure and nervous with new people, I am always aware of all behavioral signs animals give me when I need to respect there space and understand when they are ready to accept me as there friend. I never rush interactions and allow the animal to make their decision to approach me and will always provide a calm and friendly energy so that they can build their trust with me.

About: I have many years of experience with working with pets of all types! I also have rescues of my own, so I understand the need to be attuned to different fur baby personality types. I am confident that your pet will be safe and loved in my care, and will strive to meet their every need as best I can. I understand how stressful it can be to trust your loved one with someone while you're away, I've been there so I have a lot of empathy for the needs of both you and your pet and I will always keep their safety as my priority. I currently work full-time every other week at the hospital, so I am available bi-weekly for pet care. I am happy to care for pets over weekends and holidays. As a responsible pet caregiver, I prioritize safety and trust in every drop-in visit and dog walk. I ensure secure leashing and appropriate handling to keep pets safe, maintain clear communication with pet owners, and provide regular updates to build confidence. By establishing a caring relationship through thorough introductions and consistent routines, I create a safe and trustworthy environment for pets and their families.

About: Since I was old enough to pull myself up by the hindquarters of the family dog, I have shared a special connection with animals. Well versed in the needs of our furry friends, no pet is too much for my care. Experienced in special need care for animals - including but not limited to insulin administration. I also have formal training as an assistant vet tech and have volunteered at the ASPCA for years. Since I am currently self-employed with reliable transportation, my schedule is extremely flexible. I have two dogs and two cats that I care for daily, but they are low maintenance and do not require much time. Boarding will be done on 5.5 acres in Freshwater, set back in the woods with plenty of land for your fur-baby to roam free. We have gated, open top areas as well as a temperature controlled garage set up if your pet needs isolation or time away from the other animals. When walking, during drop-in visits, or on overnight stays in your home, I will adhere to all requests and ensure your furbaby enjoys themselves in your absence!

Elizabeth G.
“Lizzie is one of the most nurturing and reliable caregivers I’ve ever known. Animals and children are automatically drawn to her kind, gentle nature and always feel safe with her. Her keen instinct for sensing subtle changes in mood/behavior cannot be matched! One of my favorite things about Lizzie is the way she prioritizes daily exercise and playtime for the animals in her care. She also understands the importance of maintaining regular feeding times— plus she’s awesome about sending updates when requested. ❤️During the brief few months that Lizzie was my roommate, my dog has never been happier nor as well cared-for. 🐾 I can’t think of anyone more trustworthy to care for my baby!”
