We were in town to visit the National Parks and Kendra did an incredible job with our skittish dog. She was able to build trust quickly and get her the exercise she needed. I appreciate her patience and professionalism. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who may be passing through and needing someone trustworthy!

Madison was a joy to work with! She was responsive to all our communications and adjusted the walking schedule according to our local weather. She was very patient with our dog, kept us informed of her walks, and sent photos every day. We highly recommend using her and we plan on using her services again.

Exactly what I was looking for. I have a nervous dog who we're slowly introducing to new people. Azrael was calm and went slow so that my girl could make a new friend.

About: I have strong experience working with dogs, providing attentive care, regular exercise, and lots of affection. I’m comfortable with different breeds and temperaments, and I focus on keeping dogs safe, happy, and well cared for while maintaining their routines. I am currently a graduate student looking for a nice little side job to keep me busy and make some extra money to help with my bills. I love animals and this is the perfect way to keep myself busy. I care for pets by keeping a consistent routine, making sure they have fresh food and water, and providing a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. I pay close attention to their behavior and give them plenty of affection, playtime, and exercise. When I’m in someone else’s home, I follow their instructions carefully, respect their space, and keep them updated so they know their pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, personalities, and needs. I recently rescued my own dog from a backyard breeding situation, which strengthened my understanding of patience, trust-building, and providing a safe, loving environment for animals who need extra care. Beyond my own pets, I have regularly helped friends and family care for their dogs whenever they needed support, including feeding, walking, playtime, and keeping up with their daily routines. I treat every dog with the same compassion, attention, and respect I give my own, and I am committed to making sure every pup feels comfortable, happy, and cared for. I am currently a part-time college student, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to dedicate time and attention to your pets. I’m able to work around different routines and provide reliable, consistent care when you need it. I love having the opportunity to spend extra time with animals and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I provide dependable, attentive, and compassionate care while keeping their routine, comfort, and well-being my top priority. I understand that every pet has their own personality, needs, and habits, so I take the time to learn what makes them feel safe and happy. I provide consistent feeding, exercise, playtime, enrichment, medication support if needed, and plenty of love and attention. I also treat every home with respect and care, ensuring it stays clean, secure, and comfortable. My goal is to give pets the same patience, protection, and affection I give my own animals, so owners can have complete peace of mind while they’re away.

About: I have taken care of pets, cats and dogs, from a young age. I grew up a cat and dog owner and have always loved my pets. I have experience training young dogs for sit, stay, fetch, lay down, roll over, wait, and go. I also regularly pet sit for family members. I am currently not working due to summer break, so I have full open availability. When school starts in August, I will be available evening after 5 and all day weekends. I am hoping to find pet sitting for weekends and dog walks for week days. I currently have a 3 bedroom apartment that is pet friendly. I can take care of small dogs/ cats at my own home and able to take them for walks around my neighborhood. I am willing and comfortable to pet sit in the client’s home and to go to the client’s home to take pups for walks.

About: I have always had a dog or multiple while growing up. I was always the kid that would ask to pet peoples dogs (still do) I have dog sat before for my neighbor and anytime the dogs saw me they always ran right to me. Dogs specifically always come up to me or are attracted to me. I have never had a bad experience with a dog and even if I did I would probably still try to make it my friend! Most days I am completely free except Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:10-11:25 then I have a night class from 6:10-8:00 I have always been an animal person and love every animal I meet. Before we moved to our new house my dog slept in my bed with me and had a bed of his own that he would occasionally lay in. My dog was always with me on the couch or really anywhere I went. Anytime I am at a friends house or anyone’s house who has I dog I always treat their pet like it’s my own.

About: I’ve worked with dogs as young as 8 weeks to as old as 15 years. I’ve also worked with dogs as small as a chihuahua to as big as a poodle. Im a college student and have some flexibility in my schedule but working weekends is the best time to pet sit, however if you message me about a specific time during the week id love to see if we can work something out. I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for pets, whether I’m in their home for a drop-in visit or staying overnight. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely regarding feeding, walks, medications, and routines, so pets feel secure and cared for in their familiar surroundings. Safety is my top priority. I double-check doors, gates, and leashes, and I make sure pets are never left in unsafe situations. I also respect my clients’ homes as if they were my own, keeping things tidy and secure while they’re away. My goal is to give pet parents peace of mind knowing both their pets and their home are in trustworthy hands.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs for my family members for two years. I rented a house and the owner left his two Great Pyrenees to be in my care for the amount of time I lived there. I have a 3 year old pit bull and a 2 year old German Shepherd I love and care for now. I also have a 2 year old kitty that I love. All animals need love time and energy and I adore animals and their unique personalities! I’m currently working a full time job but I do get Friday- Sundays off which allows me to spend a lot of time with my animals but I know a lot of people who work weekends and or want to travel and I am willing to help people with their fur babies while they’re away. With my families, I make sure to establish a relationship first and make your fur baby trust me and enjoy being around me. If I go to your home, I will always ask where their favorite spot it or if you would like to crate them while I leave. I do enjoy walking them and feeding them and giving treats to enforce positive behavior.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Redbanks. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Redbanks.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Redbanks. On Rover:

  • 100% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 93% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
