About: Experience with senior dogs, dogs going through cancer treatment, rescues & fosters. I grew up with dogs most of my life, mostly through adoption/rescue. I've fostered a couple of dogs in the past as well. I love dogs of all types and sizes. I recently had this incredible black lab named Layla who unfortunately passed away a few years ago. While I trained her how to do basic things like sit, stay, etc., I also trained her how to "throw hands", to back up when I say "BEEP BEEP BEEP", and to stay out of the kitchen (because she was ALWAYS in the way). She also had amazing recall and could hike trails off leash. She knew the differences between her toys and knew people by their names. If I said, "Where's your shark?" she would find her shark toy and bring it to me. She was the best and I miss her dearly. I currently live with family friends who have two dogs (one of which is a foster dog) and two cats that I help out with everyday. I also help my friends walk their dogs when they need the extra help. I'm not a professional dog trainer, but I've hired trainers before to help with the dogs I've owned. That said, I'm not ready to adopt again, but would love to spend time with other people's dogs in the meantime. I know what it's like needing help watching your fur babies and I was lucky to have an incredible support system to assist with Layla when she was alive. I'd like to return the favor. Thanks! I currently work from home part-time. My hours are very flexible. I do have calls throughout the week, so as long as I can continue doing my work calls, I can fit most things within my schedule. The dogs I take care of now have a fenced-in back yard so I let them out multiple times throughout the day. It's been very hot this summer so I try not to keep them out for more than 15-20 mins depending on the time of day. When I had Layla, we'd go on two walks a day and would also go hiking and to the dog beach. She was crate trained.

“Kim was excellent! I was so worried about leaving my senior, partially blind cat, Timmy. However, Kim dropped in daily & tended to his every need. The peace of mind was priceless!!!!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. My neighbor has always relied on me to walk and feed their pets every time they go on vacation. I am also a foster for Freedom German Shepherd rescue! I work on Fort Bragg during the school year from 0730-1:30pm. In the summer I am available anytime! I’ll have plenty of time to walk and play with your pups! Your pets safety is my number one priority. I will send you updates on how they are doing throughout the day. About: I’m 24 years old and recently graduated with a Bachelor’s in Science in May 2023. My love for animals began in my childhood, I always loved pretending to be a veterinarian and I plan on becoming one sometime in the future. Ive had pets as long as I can remember whether it was a dog or a cat. In high school, I was actively involved in FFA, which further fueled my passion for animal care. I have experience caring for a variety of animals, including cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, sugar gliders, ferrets, along with many others. I also interned at a wildlife rehab center in college, where I gained valuable experience working with wildlife animals. I am a dedicated and organized person, currently working as a vet assistant at a veterinary hospital. This experience allows me to handle senior animals and help with any medical needs your furry babies may have. My diverse background has equipped me with the skills to provide loving and attentive care to all kinds of pets! I am a full-time vet assistant working at a veterinary animal hospital, typically not available from 7:30 AM to 6 PM on weekdays. While I usually have weekends off, there may be occasions when I have a weekend shift, and I will inform clients in advance. Additionally, I can accommodate clients' pets by fitting in time before and after my work hours. I am committed to providing flexible and reliable care for your pets while balancing my professional responsibilities. Thank you for understanding my schedule! Caring for people's pets is a true passion of mine. I love spending time with all animals and consider them to be like family. Working at a veterinary animal hospital allows me to connect with various pets, and I always make it a priority to give each patient the love and attention they deserve while they are away from their families. Im also good with any emergency situations as my work environment deals with after hours emergencies too!~ To ensure that each pet feels comfortable and engaged, I enjoy spending quality time with them by watching movies, taking them out for walks, or even playing fetch. I believe that every pet needs companionship, care, and understanding. My goal is to create a nurturing environment where pets feel loved and valued, making their experience as enjoyable as possible.

“I highly reccommend Jenna to look after your fur babies. She really helped us our during an emergency and took really well care of my cats. She was very thorough and made sure that my cat's feeding and medicine schedule was consistent.”
