About: I provide intentional, attentive care, treating every pet like my own. I don’t just “watch” pets; I engage with them, learn their routines, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I have hands-on experience with puppy training (basic commands, leash manners, crate and potty training), along with public access and service animal training. I’m patient, consistent, and focused on building strong habits. I’m also experienced in senior pet care, including gentle handling, medication support, and slower-paced walks tailored to their comfort and mobility. * For cat care, I respect each cat’s personality, whether they’re social or more independent. I’m attentive to litter box cleanliness, feeding routines, enrichment, and creating a calm, stress-free environment. Whether your pet is high-energy or needs extra care, you can count on dependable service, clear communication, and regular updates with photos. Pet care fits naturally into my day since I work from home, which allows me to be present, flexible, and attentive. I’m able to maintain consistent schedules for feeding, walks, potty breaks, and playtime without long gaps in supervision. Because I’m home throughout the day, pets get more than just check-ins. They get companionship, engagement, and close monitoring. I can easily adjust to their routine, whether that means midday walks, reinforcing training, or providing extra comfort for senior pets. My schedule allows me to give pets the time, structure, and attention they deserve while keeping owners updated with regular communication and photos. Your pet’s safety and comfort is my top priority. In my home, I provide a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment with a secure fenced yard for safe outdoor breaks and play. Pets are always supervised, and I’m mindful of introductions, boundaries, and maintaining a low-stress atmosphere. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your space and stick closely to your pet’s normal routine to keep things consistent. I double-check doors, gates, and leashes, and I’m attentive to any changes in behavior, appetite, or energy. Not only do I take the time to understand each pet’s needs, triggers, and preferences, and I’m experienced with puppies, seniors, and pets in training. Whether it’s reinforcing routines, administering basic medications, or providing a safe, structured environment, I aim to give you complete peace of mind with regular updates and photos.

About: Hi! I’m Sam a lifelong dog lover based in the Atlanta area. I provide a safe, calm, and structured home where dogs are treated like family—not just watched. I specialize in caring for multiple dogs at once while still giving each one individual attention, affection, and routine. Whether your dog is playful, shy, or needs a little extra care, I adjust to their personality so they feel comfortable and secure. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and understand how important it is to trust who your dog is with. My goal is simple: your dog feels at home, and you feel completely at ease. Every pet becomes part of the family while they’re with me. My days are centered around making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. We spend our time going on walks, playing with toys, exploring outside (weather permitting), and getting plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. When it’s time to relax, your pet is welcome to enjoy cuddles, belly rubs, or simply lounge nearby if they prefer their own space. For my feline guests, I provide interactive playtime, clean litter boxes, cozy places to nap, and lots of affection—always on their terms. Whether your cat loves to play or just wants a quiet companion, I’ll make sure they feel at home. Throughout the day, I stick as closely as possible to your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, potty breaks, and any special instructions. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates so you can see how much fun they’re having. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel like they’re on their own little vacation while giving you complete peace of mind. 🐶🐱 Every pet is treated like family because that’s exactly what they deserve. ❤️ Your pet’s safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone else, and I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own. For everyone’s safety, I keep pets from different households separated at all times. The only exception is pets from the same family who are already comfortable together. This helps prevent unnecessary stress and ensures every pet receives personalized attention in a calm, secure environment. Before each stay, I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, preferences, and any special needs so I can provide the best possible care. Whether your pet is playful, shy, energetic, or a senior needing extra attention, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment, provide fresh water at all times, carefully follow feeding schedules and medication instructions, and closely supervise all activities. Communication is also very important to me, so you’ll receive regular photo and video updates, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to create a safe, low-stress, loving experience where your pet feels right at home and you can relax knowing they’re in caring, capable hands. 🐾❤️

About: I have a lifetime of experience caring for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and chickens. While I'm comfortable with animals of all sizes, I'm most experienced with large dogs, and have no problem managing pups who weigh well over a hundred pounds. I also have experience training puppies, and am currently learning the basics of canine massage. Around me, your fur baby will always be happy, well-loved, and protected! I'm currently unemployed outside of pet-sitting and dog walking, so my schedule is generally pretty open. Most of my availability is in the morning and early afternoon, but I'm quite flexible as it relates to scheduling. Please let me know if you require my services outside of my typical hours, and I'll be happy to try and accommodate you! When taking clients on walks, I'm careful to ensure their safety and comfort. I often bring booties with me to protect their feet on hot days, and make sure I'm stocked up on water and pet parent-compliant treats before embarking on walks. While walking, I let dogs sniff around as much as they like, and provide a gentle guiding hand and a vigilant eye to protect them from harm. Before I leave, I check to make sure all entrances are locked in order to maintain the safety of my clients and their home.

About: I’m an animal lover, and have 2 cats of my own. I’ve recently returned to Atlanta after 4 years in Europe. I’ve grown up taking care of both cats and dogs - at the peak we had 4 cats and 2 dogs. I’ve also done pet sitting for friends, family and internationally. I’ve volunteered and fostered dogs through LifeLine, so I have experience with a wide array of ages and temperaments. I have a hybrid job which gives me increased flexibility during the week to care for your family members. I work 9-5, but on my office days I can easily pop home at lunch to check on your pets. Other days of the week, I’ll be working at home. I have a fenced in back yard, so your dog can roam around and explore. I also have 3 bedrooms, so I can separate or crate pets as well as needed to ensure they’re safe and comfortable.

Andretta is sunshine wrapped as a person! Firstly, she replied to my initial inquiry lightning fast and was very thorough in providing details and asking questions about what I needed. I had never done a dog walking service while being away; usually family could watch my dog but this time no one was available. Any reservations I had were immediately erased during the meet and greet with myself, her and my dog. While I was away, I got all of the notifications, reports and pictures from Andretta and felt so relieved that I could travel and know my dog was WELL taken care of! Not to mention, my dog loves her! Andretta is professional, detailed, knowledgeable and very sweet. If family isn’t available, I’ll be booking with her anytime I have to go out of town.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
