About: I’ve had many dogs in my life. Right now, I’m the mom of a four year old chihuahua! I love to watch dogs for people as a fun side job/hobby. While I may be new to the app, I’ve done this my entire life. You will get the quality and trustworthy care your pet deserves. Give me a chance! You will get your moneys worth. I’m currently working part time, I don’t do much except work and spend time with my own pup lol. I basically have open availability to meet your schedule’s needs. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I have two dog tents and a kennel. I have a safe, quiet apartment where your pet will feel relaxed and at home. There’s also plenty of room to run outside.

About: We got into pet care together because helping animals has always been a shared passion; it’s something that brought us closer and now it’s something we get to do side by side while helping our community 🥹 We currently foster for the Kanawha Charleston Shelter and another local rescue, help with TNR in our area, rehome strays, and love to spoil our own little crew of rescues! Over the years, we’ve cared for dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, reptiles, rabbits, rats, and even birds! We're also active in the rescue world currently supporting fundraising, marketing, and networking for Krazie Ladies Animal Rescue, and jumping in when people in our community need help with lost pets or urgent rehoming! This isn’t just a side gig for us... it’s something we truly love doing together and would be happy to help you and your pets have a stress-free time! We both work from home, so our days naturally revolve around the animals we care for; ours and yours! That means we’re super flexible with visits throughout the day, whether it’s a quick morning potty break, midday meds, or evening playtime. Caring for animals is already part of our daily life. We foster and volunteer locally, so working around feeding schedules, quirky behaviors, and special routines is second nature. You can count on us to show up on time and treat your pets like they’re part of the family! We always follow your instructions to the T; whether that’s feed times, locked doors or quirky pet routine... We will always keep your space clean, calm, and secure before we leave! We’re happy to work with homes that use security systems or indoor cameras, and we’ll always communicate clearly about access (keys, codes, etc.) so everyone feels comfortable! After each visit, you’ll get a photo or two and a quick update so you’re never left wondering how things went!! If your pets have any medical needs, special diets, triggers, or unique behaviors, we’ll ask about those ahead of time so we can handle everything confidently! We’ve worked with nervous pets, escape artists, and even semi-ferals... so nothing surprises us! About: I am a teacher so I am very responsible & reliable. I will give your pet or pets top notch care like he/she was my own. I am a teacher so Monday-Friday I work 8-4. I can care for your pet before & after work. I am available at all times on the weekends. I will can care for your pets in your home. I can walk dogs before & after work. I can also take them out before bedtime. Feed/water/play & clean up after them as well.

About: Hi! My name is Candace and I have had a passion for helping animals for as long as I can remember. I live in a farm with plenty of space for your fur baby to stretch their legs. I have multiple walking trails and also an indoor turfed play area. I have built in indoor kennels for your overnight boarding needs and I only take a handful of pets at a time to allow ample time for exercise and lovins. If your dog is more comfortable with a free roaming indoor situation that is an option on a case by case basis. I also offer dog walking, cat care and house/pet sitting in your home when available! Do not hesitate to reach out. Pet care is my full time gig here on my farm so I have a very flexible schedule. I like to stay very active and available to pets! I have a lot of space here on my farm to allow for group play or if you have a pet that prefers their space that is totally fine too. They can have their very own space and be exercised alone. Group play will be available only to those that are non aggressive and is determined on a case by case basis. Any time a dog is not in an enclose area they are kept on a leash in hand at all times. Their safety is my very first concern. Do not hesitate to reach out to ask about any special needs your pet might have and what I could do to accommodate them.

About: I’ve cared for family, friends, and neighbors pets most of my life as well as my own! That, on top of an entire summer’s worth of volunteer time at the animal shelter, has prepared me for anything and provided me with the education I need to care for you babies! I currently work a part time job working 4pm-11pm on weekdays and 11am-5pm on Saturdays with my Sundays off! Providing me with the time to care for your pets most of the day! About: My whole life I’ve been surrounded by animals! I even had the chance to help my dad train police dogs! I worked at a doggy daycare and have nothing but absolute love for every animal, big or small. I only work 2-3 days of the week and will be going to a community college for the next 3 years, so I have some free time and I’m pretty flexible. Also I get to use this as an excuse to meet new animals!! I’m familiar with crate training, as I’ve used it on my own animals and I’m always alert and know what to look for in a animal that might be showing signs of distress or anxiety.

“Lena took very good care of my kitty who gets very sad and lonely if we are out of town for long. Oftentimes he has lost weight and yowls pitiously when we return. This time, he looked very healthy and happy, clearly having received plenty of TLC from Lena. Lena sent us pictures showing our kitty lounging with her on the bed and hanging out with her in the yard. She did a great job keeping up with his twice daily medication as well. Lena’s a gem! We will definitely book her again!”

About: I had a dog that had a liver shunt and I kept him going with medication and good loving care. He lived to be 10 years old which my vet normally they don’t live past 5 years old. I am a retired banker and it’s always been my dream to be a pet sitter. I have some back issues so I would only be able to take care of small pets up to 20 pounds. Also I would prefer that the owner of the animal have a fenced in yard as I am not able to walk long distances. I prefer to keep your pet in the owners home where the animal feels more secure and safe. I am free to stay with your pet as long as needed.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and currently have four large dogs – three of my own and one foster. I also volunteer with local animal rescues and spend many Fridays at the Dog Pound, giving all the animals love, walks, vaccinations, and sometimes even a trip to my home (I’m always joking that I’m one dog away from a divorce – but he knew what he was getting into!) Joining the Rover community lets me share my passion for caring with other pet owners. I know how hard it can be to leave your furry family members, and I’m here to provide them with the love and attention they deserve. I’m currently staying home with my babies so I will have plenty of time to love yours! Don’t be afraid to ask about my schedule! I have a full fenced in yard. Two of my dogs are inside. One roams freely during the day with a doggy door to the outside fenced in yard. One is kenneled during the day. Both are kenneled at night. One is outside full time (unless it’s freezing cold and I have to force him inside). I also have one large kennel outside where my foster dog stays most of the time. All dogs are up to date on vaccines and receive monthly flea tick and heart guard meds. As for your home, I’m up for a meet and greet depending on what you need!

About: Hi, my name is Riley and I absolutely love dogs, so I decided to join Rover! I do have two dogs of my own, and they love making new friends. Because of my two boys, I have learned so much about what it takes to provide a happy, healthy life for a dog. From walks, to fetch, and even to just laying around getting belly rubs, I always do what I can to make dogs happy and get their tails wagging! I have a house with a big fenced in yard, and a doggy door that is open at all times to access the outside whenever! My dogs LOVE it, because they can play all day, but can come in for a power nap when they want, too. My boys and I look forward to making a new fur friend! I work Monday-Friday, 7:30-5pm. I am fortunate to have flexibility to telework, however, so I am able to be home throughout the day when necessary! I have a doggy door, as well as a fenced in yard so that the pups are able to roam freely and go outside when needed. I’m also able to crate pups, if requested, as I have 2 extra large crates!

About: Through out my high school and college years, I have been a pet-sitter in various ways for over 100 animals! From labs, to bunnies, to beagles, to cats, to even lizards, I have experience with a wide range of dogs, cats, and other animals. I have given a golden retriever their daily medicine and made sure the beagle I was watching had on his "Thunder Shirt" during a big storm. I'm not afraid of getting a little dirty and cleaning up poop or the occasional vomit, whether outside or in a litter box! This summer I have a 9-5 schedule with my graduate clinical assignment and if your dog needs supervision or let out in the middle of the day, I may not be a good fit!* I am a full-time graduate student, but my schedule is typically easy to manipulate to accommodate your pet's needs! I can usually be available for mid-day potty breaks and walks. I can also match your pet's meal times, whether they have their breakfast at 5 AM or 10 AM! I can always work with you to assure that your pet's schedule fits perfectly with mine. When visiting your home to stay with your pet or take them out for a walk, I always respect boundaries in your household! I will make sure to return your pet's items to their proper location. Additionally, I will ensure that messes are cleaned up and disposed of appropriately. Your home is also your pet's home, so I strive to maintain it's condition for you and your furry loved one!
