About: I have had pets my whole life. I currently have a small farm. I have chickens, ducks, turkies, pigs, dogs and cats. Alone with rabbits and guinea pigs. we are a very pet friendly area. Live in a wooded area on a dead end street. I currently work from home and have time for pet care. My youngest daughter is also in the home. Also have my granddaughter here on the weekends. she is 11. I will provide care in my home since I work from home this is the best for me at this time. I also have my 11 yr old granddaughter here on weekends.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. Recently I worked at a Doggy Day Care where I ensured the safety of over 20 dogs by myself at a given time. I promise to love and take care of your dog like they were my own Open schedule. Weekends and weekdays acceptable. Overnights, one dog at a time. My focus will be solely on your dog. Plenty of potty breaks and fun I always make sure to follow an owners instructions on specific care for their dog. Will do whatever needed to ensure the safety and well being of our furry friends

I have a background in physical therapy and massage and for years I enjoyed bringing my dog to work every day, she became the nursing home mascot, seeing the joy she brought to both my patients and coworkers made every day at work a great day :). I work in Saranac Lake and Lake Placid as an independent contractor. My work schedule/hours can be very flexible/adjusted accordingly as long as I have advanced notice to plan accordingly. I live on 4.5 acres with a long driveway set back from the road. My property backs up to a wooded trail network. I also have a very large, gated Freedom Fenced in dog play area on my property. Dogs are free to all areas of home without restriction. Unfortunately, my husband and I are allergic to cats so I am unable to board them. I do have a 3 year old daughter, so if boarding, pet must be good around children. I also do not board or provide in home services for dogs that are exposed to smoking or vaping of any kind. Please note; when providing pet care services, I will never leave a dog unsupervised, or under the care of anyone other than myself.

She always made sure Flora had enough food and water, and took her on different paths around town. She sent me lots of pictures from each walk so I could she how she was doing and notified me when she picked her up and dropped her off. Flora was only 2 months old at the time and was just starting to learn to leash walk, and Kim was really patient with her and Flora got so much more comfortable with leash walking. :) Flora was also anxious at the time whenever someone would leave her alone, and Kim would help calm her down and make sure she was comfy. Flora enjoyed Kim's walks and was a happy doggy. :)”

I do have two wonderful dogs who love to have play dates at puppy parks and go for long walks.

About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was 17. I have had lots of experience walking active larger breeds and taking care of puppies, kittens and cats. When I’m not hanging out with animals, I stay active and creative. Over the years I’ve worked as a preschool teacher, full time nanny, swim coach/ instructor and security guard in New York as well as Northern California. I believe that understanding animals vocal and physical actions through sincere intuitive observation, is the most important quality to have when taking care of a pet and their needs. Safety, trust & environment; There are many safe trails throughout the Adirondacks that I’m comfortable walking dogs on and I always bring water to share with a on the go water bowl! When traveling with animals I always put on a gentle playlist I made for my own pets to ensure they don’t get any anxiety from the sounds of being on the road. I have a great amount of experience with bathing/ washing dogs and cats for either sensitive issues or just a routine bath for a muddy pup. I have lots of experience with handling and providing medication to animals, as well as bottle feeding with a gentle approach.

About: Aside from having a family dog for 15 years, I have house/pet-sitting experience working for family members and close friends since 2007. I have never met a pet I didn’t adore.
