“If you’re looking for someone who will love your pets just as much as you do, I recommend Dani!! We have two high energy pups that like to get out and stretch their legs while we’re at work. Dani is amazing with taking them on walks and to the dog park! My pups get so excited for when she comes to let them out! She’s absolutely amazing with communication and letting you know what’s going on! She’s truly an amazing person to have watching your dogs, I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Marian was very willing to provide her dog walking services on such a short notice after I had a previous plan backfire on me. While I couldn't meet her beforehand, we put in a plan for her to get my keys so she can meet Bandit and take him for walks. She was very professional and from what I can tell, Bandit enjoyed his time with her and the walks. Highly recommend Marian and will definitely be using her for future needs!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. I’ve trained my herding dogs to be trusted off leash on trails. I’ve helped my parents with training their two herding dogs to leave it, come, off, down and fetch. I advocate for whatever dogs I’m looking after or walking to make sure they are as comfortable as they can be. I’m currently in hand therapy due to a car accident and unable to work due to restrictions. I’m able to take care of dogs Monday-Friday. I have a fenced in yard that I will let my pups out into. We go on daily walks to ensure that their needs are taken care of.
About: I’ve taken care of lots of animals including dogs for over 13 years! In addition to caring for my own animals, I have been relied on by others to care for their pets as well. I consistently work on training with both my dog and cat. Currently, my dog Nani is learning to search for edible mushrooms on our hikes! I work remotely and make my own schedule so I have lots of flexibility/availability throughout the week! My work allows me to take time during the day to go on walks or to work on training/socializing as needed. I have my own friendly dog and cat who are very active. We go on lots of walks and play throughout the day. My focus is creating healthy stimulation and activities for our pets.
About: I worked at a kennel for a year but I've had dogs all my life. There's never been a year I haven't had a dog. I have three dogs of my own currently so I take care of them almost every day. I also play and cuddle them every day and give them all the love they deserve. I have three dogs of my own currently so I take care of them almost every day. About: Growing up in a rural area, I am no stranger to being around livestock, dogs, cats, chickens, etc. My first job was in a vet/kennel setting where I worked as a groomer's assistant. My more recent work experience has been more customer service based - but I continue to live a very animal-centric life, caring for my own animals, as well as the animals of my neighbors, friends, and coworkers.. - Do you have a dog or cat who requires a special medication by syringe? No problem, I've done it! - Do you have an elderly dog or cat who may require frequent changes to their bedding, litter box or diaper? I can help with that! From reptiles to poultry and everything in-between.. I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals and would love to meet yours. I take great pride in caring for other's animals as if they were my own. I am flexible, communicative, and not afraid to get my hands dirty if it means making sure your animal is comfortable and well cared for! I'm currently working part-time while pursuing a new career, which allows me to be flexible. I have availability mornings, afternoons, evenings & weekend to fit all your needs. As I am currently a renter, I am unable to care for your animal within my own home. Services I do provide would include: drop-in care, to walk, feed, or simply provide company & enrichment to your animals. Do you have a pet that is highly anxious, requires detailed dietary care, or medication administration? I am also available to stay the day or overnight in the case that you're leaving town for that vacation or special occasion.

“Sydney was always prompt at arriving for our dog's walk. She gave Chase extra attention since he was apprehensive about his new substitute walker. You can tell Sydney loves dogs and enjoys spending time with them. She will be my first choice whenever I need another substitute walker for Chase! Definitely recommend her.”

About: No discrimination here! I love all sizes, breeds, and ages. With over 20 years of experience, I have grown up with dogs pretty much my entire life. Your dog will be treated as if they were my own. We like to start and end every day with potty breaks along with atleast two walks per day. We allow your children to sit and sleep wherever they like. I am currently working full-time (about 15 minutes away from home), but my boyfriend (also a Rover sitter) works from home and can do daily potty breaks if needed.

About: Ever since I was a little girl I had dogs in my life! I grew up with two little west highland white terriers who were the most energetic loving dogs I could ask for as a kid. Later we welcomed our golden-doodle into our family who has protected us and made us laugh everyday! He’s now 10 years old! For about six years dog sat for a neighbor who had a boxer and English bulldog. I dog walked and house sat for three summers for a goldendoodle and for three years dog sat for lab/mutt mix, two pugs and a cat. I also take care of my sisters two Rhodesian ridgebacks one who is 6 years old and one 5 month old as well as my other sisters golden retriever who is 5 months old. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I remember and every day they show me what it’s like to be loved. I am taking some time off before starting Physician Assistant school, so I have a good amount of time throughout the week to take care of your pets! I am very in tune with my dogs needs at home and love just spending time with whether it’s relaxing in the couch, going for walks or sitting in the grass. I understand some dogs may need to be crated or if there is no fenced in yard, they need to be leashed when outside. I can accommodate any need for your pets in your home!

About: I know just how difficult it can be to be away and to find someone trustworthy to care for your beloved pets; especially those with medical and unique needs. That’s why I’m here: to make that time away as worry free and easy as possible! Friends aren’t always around to help out, and no one likes to stick their pups in a kennel. That’s what inspired me to become a sitter! I have a huge passion for making sure that pets are happy and healthy! There’s just nothing like bringing a smile to a pet’s face, so I can’t wait to do the same for your fur kids! I’ve been a lifelong dog owner, but have tons of experience taking care of them to boot! I currently live with my dog, a Chihuahua/Papillon mix, Rosie, and she is the light of my life! I grew up looking after pups and have experience with tons of different pets, from dogs and cats to fish and Bearded Dragons! In addition to taking care of may pets, I’ve also been a volunteer for the Suncoast Animal League, where I took in and fostered pups in need. I just loved this experience so much, and it definitely confirmed my wish to see every pet be happy and healthy at all times! I’ve also been a long-time pet sitter for friends and family, and now I’m very excited to extend my client base and help more pets & their families. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet in-person or video call. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pet and your care expectations. No one knows your pet better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pet tick! Finally, me and Rosie love meeting new dogs and cats! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I believe that the cornerstone of any good stay is communication. For me, good communication begins before your pet comes under my care, as I love to get as much information about you and your pet right off the bat! Getting a good idea about your care expectations is just as important as learning about what makes your pup tick. With that information in mind, I like to start thinking as early as possible about what a dream stay would be! During the stay, I like to send regular updates with accompanying pictures, so you can see just how well your pet is doing while you’re away. In addition to pictures, I like to send detailed information on anything you need to feel in the loop—from behaviors to meals to exercise times. Going the extra mile is just what I do best! *For house pet sitting, I am a currently working in Pennsylvania and able to travel with my dog, who is dog/cat tolerant & house trained, to you for 2-3 day weekend stays within 5 hours of Lancaster,PA.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Ravine. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Ravine.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
