About: As the daughter of a pet-sitting business owner and veterinary technician, I’ve been caring for animals from an early age. With over 10 years of experience working alongside my mother and in veterinary offices across Northern Virginia, I’ve learned that every pet is unique and deserves individualized care. Before moving back to Northern Virginia in 2023, I also owned a successful pet-sitting business in St. Croix, USVI. My own pets have taught me a lot as well—my pit mix, Bella, survived both a fighting-breed environment and Hurricane Maria, and my two rescue bassets struggled with separation anxiety, as well as our Moluccan cockatoo we raised from a nestling. About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs on a farm, apartment, townhouse, etc. I have experience with many different personalities, energy levels, and breed needs I currently have two dogs of my own, a great pyrenees and a golden retriever. I beleive no dog should be judged by their breed or put under a general label. I focus on their body language and individual personalities, while still addressing breed needs. I currently am working 32-40 hours a week that gives me a certain level of flexibility to match your schedule. I receive my schedule every Saturday, two weeks posted at a time. I will give full transparency if there are any schedule conflicts. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet in someone else’s care, they’re your family! My goal is to always make sure both you and your pet few safe, supported, and at ease while you’re away. I do my best to follow your pet’s routing exactly the way you do at home, adjusting to whatever care instructions you prefer. I am also more than happy to provide updates as often as you’d life, whether that’s daily or hourly check-ins, photos, or videos so you can see how your pet is doing. I pay close attention to your pet’s behavior, health, and surroundings, making sure they’re safe and comfortable both inside the home and in outdoor spaces. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all ages and provided medications when needed including pills, eye drops, and shots! I also am flexible to what your pet’s routine already is! I’m home for summers from college (Go Dukes) and I’ve always loved animals, so pet-sitting is my only job over this time! I’m available all days throughout the week! If boarding in my home, we have a fenced yard, plenty of area to go on leashed walks, and they will get plenty of one on one attention and care. I'm happy to do transport or add in a bath during your pet's stay so your life can be as simple as possible while you're trying to get out the door for your trip. Pet care is my full time job and priority. I can adapt as needed to make sure your pet keeps the routine they are comfortable with, even when you aren’t home. I will ask questions and take notes on your pets’ routine and then do my best to ensure that those habits are in place with me.

I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, etc. I currently live in Culpeper with my husband and 2 daughters. I am a teacher so I work Monday-Friday until mid-June but I am available on weekends until then. I will adjust my schedule once school lets out. Pets will have the opportunity to wander around the house freely (unless documented by owner otherwise), and will also be walked around Old Town Warrenton which is very pet friendly :)
