“Chelsea is great! She responds quickly, shows up on time, is flexible, and has worked with me to address my dog’s needs. My dog takes a while to warm up to people, but she felt comfortable with Chelsea almost immediately and I did as well. If you are in the Jackson area I highly recommend Chelsea as a dog walker.”

About: I'm capable of administering medications including shots if needed. I had a cat that had diabetes and he had to have shots 2 X per day. I've owned dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and horses. I know how hard it is to find good care where you can go on your trips and feel comfortable that your furbabies are taken care of. I'm trustworthy and will take care of your pets as if they were my own. I'm happily retired and looking for something to do that will bring me joy and help out pet owners. My availability is open for all days and nights. I will take as good of care of them as I have taken care of my own. I love animals of all kinds and look forward to being able to care for them in their own space where they are most comfortable as needed.

About: Enrichment. Walks. Adventure time. With me, you will always have an energetic individual who will go the distance! I go hiking 3+ days out of the week and am a natural pet-lover. This would showcase that I will always have the stamina to walk with your animals. At the end of the day, a pet is truly a human’s best friend and deserves the best care. I hope you keep me in mind when you need an individual to look after your animal! Only the best care for them. I also have a reactive dog in-training, so I have tons of hands-on experience! Sincerely, Shileen Andico I’m currently working full-time as a teacher, with summers off and breaks during holidays! This leaves me available for all times available for walks, check-ins, etc! Working with a reactive dog, I understand that care and making a dog feel safe is always top priority! I will ensure that your dog will feel comfortable with me.

About: Hi there! My name is Sharon and I PAWS (pause) and gasp every time I see a cute dog... (which is every time I see a dog since all dogs are so cute). I love all types of dogs and get super excited when I see one! Throughout the years, I've gained experience taking care of dogs of all sizes and ages. I love getting to spend quality time with them and getting to know their personalities. As a dog lover, I love getting to spend quality time with any dog. My favorite activities include walks, playing fetch, going to the dog park, and just hanging out while giving great head scratches. I aim to create a fun, comfortable, and loving environment for every dog of every size! I work as a therapist and mostly have availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays; however, I sometimes have additional openings during the week which are reflected in my calendar. I start the day by feeding the dogs, letting them rest a bit, and then taking them on a walk outside to get some fresh air. Throughout the day, I continue to interact and play with them, and finish off the day with time spent outdoors followed by dinner.

About: I have been owned by cats and dogs in the past. I recently transferred with my job from the East Coast to Utah, and now reside in Northern California and currently frequent the Humane Society to visit with the cats and dogs waiting for homes. Pet Sitting - I am able to walk them/feed in the mornings and after 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Thursday - Sundays more frequently. I do prefer overnight pet sitting. I am reliable, responsible and have a "knack" with most pets. I do need to know about any behavioral issues (likes to chew on things that aren't their toys for example). Do they do well with new people? I prefer not to sit pit bull terriers, but mixed breeds I don't have a problem with. About: Hi, I grew up around several different animals of all sizes from rodents/reptiles to livestock/dogs. I have always had at least one dog in my life at all times. The more the merrier. I love all animals big and small. I worked at a kennel where I learned about boarding and training dogs for about a year and I have pet sat for about 15 years in grand total. I currently work at a pet store in Sutter Creek. I love being around dogs and training or even just hanging out and playing. I am a outdoorsy person. I have experience with livestock animals also. Horses, cattle, chickens, Lhamas, mini animals, donkeys. I have references also if you would like them. Our home is completely fenced and sits on 3 acres. We have two friendly german shepherds. I work part time so some days I am gone at work. But our 17 year old daughter is always home. We also go to church Sunday morning so we would be gone for a couple hours but otherwise we are always home. I care for pets in my home as I would my own. I have 3 German Shepherds. 10 months to 7 years old. As for in home pet sitting I would follow whatever routine you have set for your fur babies already so it would be easier on them.

About: We have had dogs in our home our entire life. They are always a family member and treated with the best of love and care. I come from a family of breeders and a hunting and show dogs. Our seniors are loved and cared for savoring every last day. We have a ranch with plenty of room for your fur baby to run and explore as well as a huge dog run. We offer different places to keep them safe if running off leash is not the best for your baby. I am a self-employed realtor, who works from home. My husband is a rancher and contractor so one of us is typically home there are times of course when we leave but everybody is locked up safe and sound and they are also welcome to take the car ride with us should we need to run some errands. if it’s important that nobody ever leaves your baby, we can make that accommodation as well. We have a 12 x 24 kennel with multiple dog houses we have kennels of different sizes. We also have a barn with 12 x 12 stalls. We have a fenced in deck that is 30 x 50 so there are many opportunities for your baby to be outside in the fresh air And still be safe. If your dog is an inside dog, we will keep him inside with us and he will be warm and cozy at bedtime.

About: I’ve grown up taking care of dogs, fish, and especially cats! I have training from the SPCA on dog walking, cat care, and some skill/behavioral training for both cats and dogs. I have 3 years of fish keeping experience. I currently have my own cat (he’s orange!) and I am fostering a mother and her kitten for the time being. I am willing to help clean around the house as well! I have indoor/outdoor plants and I can take care of your plants while you are away - I have a green thumb :) I’ve helped friends and clients with farm animals, including feeding and cleaning their spaces. If directed I can help with other farm projects. I have a pretty busy schedule, but can set aside time on my busy days for drop-ins. I am free to stay at the house with your pet on my off days! To paint a better picture for you of what my availability looks like, my schedule alternates between busy and free days every other day. So if you need 24/7 in-home pet care I am not your best fit, but you can still ask if you’d like! I might be able to work something out for you :) Thank you for your consideration! I offer dog walking, in-home pet sitting, and I can do small cleaning projects for a minimal extra charge. I am gentle with the animals and can do grooming such as brushing and can try nail clipping if your pets allow it!

About: I grew up in a home filled with animals, so caring for furry family members has always come naturally to me. During the 7+ years I lived in Philadelphia, I taught at a large charter school and began house and pet sitting on the side for fellow teachers and staff. Over the years, I had the privilege of caring for so many sweet furry babies, including pets who needed extra attention, medication, and around-the-clock care. I truly grew attached to many of them and missed them dearly when my Philly chapter came to a close in 2024. Today, I proudly call Sacramento home and am excited to share that same love and care with a new community of pet friends! I’m a firm believer that animals can see and feel the energy of humans in ways we sometimes cannot. I lead with warmth, patience, attentiveness, and genuinely good energy…and animals tend to pick up on that pretty quickly. I’ve yet to meet a furry friend who didn’t eventually warm up to me. 😊 I’m especially comfortable caring for pets who need a little extra support, including administering medications, following detailed routines, and providing consistent care throughout the day or night. I work best with thoughtful pet parents who deeply care for their animals, their homes, and the energy within both. When you book with me, you can expect plenty of LOVE, communication, respect for your space, and most importantly…ACCOUNTABILITY. 💛 I work remotely and have plenty of time to share with your furry family members. I love nature and take many walks/hikes as a form of self care. I’m sure we can work just about anything out—flexibility is our middle name😉.” Interactive pup toys to keep them engaged (i.e Kongs, Hide&Seek Treats) My energy can be extremely high most times so playtime is always a thing both indoors and out!! On a chill day/evening you’ll find my toddler (if approved) and I cuddled up or sprawled out on the floor with your fur babies vibing.🕯️

FAQs for Dog Walking - Ranch House Estates

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Ranch House Estates. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route , the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.

The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Ranch House Estates after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.

Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .

walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
