About: I've been around pets and have helped take care of them ever since I was a child. Growing up we always had at least 1 dog and 1 cat but mostly we had 2 of each until they passed of old age. More recently my partner and I have a 5 year old doberman that we have raised since he was a puppy. Pet care is very important to me and I will not take a job unless I know I can give the pet the care it deserves I work flexibly full time so I will have the chance to check up on your pets semi often if needed. Early morning check ins, afternoon walks, and nightly walks/check-ins are all easily done with my schedule. For first time clients I always want to meet the pets and owners first to make sure there is no issues and everyone gets along. From there we can discuss how to best care for your pet and I can learn what they need.

About: I've taken care of neighbors cats and dogs since middle school in my hometown. I've grown up with pets my whole life and greatly understand their needs and the responsibilities associated with pet care. I’m a clear and responsive communicator and will always listen to how you want your pet cared for. I also enjoy going for runs and hikes, so if your dog has a lot of energy, we will get along well! I’m excited to meet your pet(s)! I am able to do overnights with pets and can visit them during mornings, midday, and nights. I can take last minute bookings. I work a flexible schedule during the week. I make sure to assess the comfortability of the animal before settling into the house. I try to keep it a quiet atmosphere until the animal feels comfortable being around me. I make sure that they are my priority and I give them full attention given that they're most likely stressed. I will respect the owners house and belongings.

About: I’ve helped take care of my family’s Australian Labradoodle, Penny, ever since we got her, 5 years ago. In these past couple years I’ve facilitated dozens of “doggy play dates” (communal dog walking and play time at dog parks and backyards) with dogs of all different sizes. I am very comfortable and confident with all types of dogs, and often dog sit and dog walk for friends and neighbors when they are out of town. I currently live in Burlington and am free on weekends and after 5pm MWF and after 6pm Tuesday and Thursday. I am able to spend as much time as needed with your pets if it makes you, or them, more comfortable! I’m comfortable caring for pets in new environments. I can crate, feed, walk, and play with your animals, and will be clean and respectful to your space and home.

About: I have a full range of animal history and care. I have chosen dogs to accommodate and love unconditionally when you must be away from your best friend! I offer a variety of animal care and services, including one on one to fun play sessions for pets with like personalities. I am confident we can find what is necessary and essential for each unique situation. We don’t have problems we specialize in solutions together! I travel regularly to render my time and care for others pets in many locations. I have many opportunities and accommodations to suit each unique dog situation. I am willing to follow pet owners regiment to almost an exact replica if possible. Let’s talk a see how I can help make the transition stress free when you must be apart. I travel to accommodate situations necessary.

About: I have a background in veterinary medicine and that’s where I gained my knowledge of and love for dogs. My boyfriend and I work as a dog sitting team. We both work from home and are available to supervise pets all day. We have 57 acres of land for walking and playing. We are equipped to provide nail trims and ear cleanings, if requested. We are also available to pick up and drop off dogs. My partner and I work as a team to take care of pets. One or both of us is typically home at any given point, making it easy for us to supervise pets all day. We have 57 acres of land. This is mostly unfenced and we can walk dogs on a leash if necessary. We have two dogs of our own, who are very well trained and love to play. We are committed to providing positive socialization and training experiences for pets.

About: When I lived in Syracuse where my family resides I spent years taking care of my brothers Energetic Beagle named Daisy! I care and love to take care of animals as if they were my own! ☺️ I currently have a full time job Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5pm. I am free after 5 pm during the week and all day on weekends. I rent out my building I reside in so I unfortunately can’t have pets at my place, but will travel to someone else’s. Each owner usually has different preferences usually on what they’d like for their pet so I will take any instruction that is given. I will make sure your pets are well fed, have plenty of water and exercise.

“Jennifer is outstanding! Her knowledge and attention to detail kept me from worrying about my kitties, one who needs meds. I will certainly be contacting her in the future!”

My fiancé and I are planning our dream wedding and I would love to offer pet care in your house ( or mine if your dog or dog friendly) . I would love to give someone the opportunity to go on vacation without the Warriors of their pet being lonely or not getting the attention they deserve. I’m well experienced in dogs of all breeds and sizes and emotional/ physical needs. I am a teacher Monday- Friday but have weekends and summers off. I can be there before and after school, as well. Weekends I am free. I want to offer your pet lots of love, care and engagement while you are traveling. About: I've owned a dog ever since I was 12 years old. Dogs have gotten me through the best and worst parts of my life. I have a background in physical therapy and massage and for years I enjoyed bringing my dog to work every day, she became the nursing home mascot, seeing the joy she brought to both my patients and coworkers made every day at work a great day :). I work in Saranac Lake and Lake Placid as an independent contractor. My work schedule/hours can be very flexible/adjusted accordingly as long as I have advanced notice to plan accordingly. I live on 4.5 acres with a long driveway set back from the road. My property backs up to a wooded trail network. I also have a very large, gated Freedom Fenced in dog play area on my property. About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was 17. I have had lots of experience walking active larger breeds and taking care of puppies, kittens and cats. When I’m not hanging out with animals, I stay active and creative. Over the years I’ve worked as a preschool teacher, full time nanny, swim coach/ instructor and security guard in New York as well as Northern California. I believe that understanding animals vocal and physical actions through sincere intuitive observation, is the most important quality to have when taking care of a pet and their needs. Safety, trust & environment; There are many safe trails throughout the Adirondacks that I’m comfortable walking dogs on and I always bring water to share with a on the go water bowl! When traveling with animals I always put on a gentle playlist I made for my own pets to ensure they don’t get any anxiety from the sounds of being on the road. I have a great amount of experience with bathing/ washing dogs and cats for either sensitive issues or just a routine bath for a muddy pup. I have lots of experience with handling and providing medication to animals, as well as bottle feeding with a gentle approach.

Julia & Peter D.
“The first time Julia took care of our dog Nola at her house was for 2 weeks while I went to portugal. Not only is my dog happier to see her now more than me, but she sent lots of great pictures of the hikes, walks, and play times they had together. This not only put my mind at ease that our girl was in good hands, but brought me joy and curbed my feelings of missing Nola as well as my guilt for being gone for so long. Since then, Julia has taken care of my 2 cats and Nola multiple times. She is professional, attentive, and compassionate. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter.”

Laura loves to go on walks and hikes, and would be a great buddy to be active with your pup, or hang out with for a relaxing day. Your dog will be in excellent hands with her. In addition to being friends, I worked with Laura for several years. She is responsible, on time and trustworthy. I would feel confident and comfortable having her in my home and with my four-legged family members.”
