About: I've been around pets and have helped take care of them ever since I was a child. Growing up we always had at least 1 dog and 1 cat but mostly we had 2 of each until they passed of old age. More recently my partner and I have a 5 year old doberman that we have raised since he was a puppy. Pet care is very important to me and I will not take a job unless I know I can give the pet the care it deserves I work flexibly full time so I will have the chance to check up on your pets semi often if needed. Early morning check ins, afternoon walks, and nightly walks/check-ins are all easily done with my schedule. For first time clients I always want to meet the pets and owners first to make sure there is no issues and everyone gets along. From there we can discuss how to best care for your pet and I can learn what they need.

About: I've taken care of neighbors cats and dogs since middle school in my hometown. I've grown up with pets my whole life and greatly understand their needs and the responsibilities associated with pet care. I’m a clear and responsive communicator and will always listen to how you want your pet cared for. I also enjoy going for runs and hikes, so if your dog has a lot of energy, we will get along well! I’m excited to meet your pet(s)! I am able to do overnights with pets and can visit them during mornings, midday, and nights. I can take last minute bookings. I work a flexible schedule during the week. I make sure to assess the comfortability of the animal before settling into the house. I try to keep it a quiet atmosphere until the animal feels comfortable being around me. I make sure that they are my priority and I give them full attention given that they're most likely stressed. About: I’ve helped take care of my family’s Australian Labradoodle, Penny, ever since we got her, 5 years ago. In these past couple years I’ve facilitated dozens of “doggy play dates” (communal dog walking and play time at dog parks and backyards) with dogs of all different sizes. I am very comfortable and confident with all types of dogs, and often dog sit and dog walk for friends and neighbors when they are out of town. I currently live in Burlington and am free on weekends and after 5pm MWF and after 6pm Tuesday and Thursday. I am able to spend as much time as needed with your pets if it makes you, or them, more comfortable! I’m comfortable caring for pets in new environments. I can crate, feed, walk, and play with your animals, and will be clean and respectful to your space and home.

About: I have a background in veterinary medicine and that’s where I gained my knowledge of and love for dogs. My boyfriend and I work as a dog sitting team. We both work from home and are available to supervise pets all day. We have 57 acres of land for walking and playing. We are equipped to provide nail trims and ear cleanings, if requested. We are also available to pick up and drop off dogs. My partner and I work as a team to take care of pets. One or both of us is typically home at any given point, making it easy for us to supervise pets all day. We have 57 acres of land. This is mostly unfenced and we can walk dogs on a leash if necessary. We have two dogs of our own, who are very well trained and love to play. About: When I lived in Syracuse where my family resides I spent years taking care of my brothers Energetic Beagle named Daisy! I care and love to take care of animals as if they were my own! ☺️ I currently have a full time job Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5pm. I am free after 5 pm during the week and all day on weekends. I rent out my building I reside in so I unfortunately can’t have pets at my place, but will travel to someone else’s. Each owner usually has different preferences usually on what they’d like for their pet so I will take any instruction that is given. I will make sure your pets are well fed, have plenty of water and exercise.

About: I have had a dog and several cats growing up and taken care of pets for friends and family. I currently live with a my girlfriend her Bernese Mountain Dog. I currently work a 9-5 job so am open to morning and afternoon walks. I am also generally flexible on weekends if planned in advance. My girlfriend has a 130 pound Bernese Mountain Dog which can be a handful. I have learned how to navigate new spaces deescalate situations with him. My strategy is mitigating the possibility for anything to go wrong and being prepared if it does.

About: I’ve worked with dogs on and off for years but have had dogs all of my life. I have given played with big packs of pups and done solo play times as well. I have a flexible schedule that will let me have more availability for your fluffy friends to get out and play and exercise. I’m looking for a long term dog caring commitment to start off my new year. I am not able to do home care ( in my home) at this time. I do have two wonderful dogs who love to have play dates at puppy parks and go for long walks.

About: I’m a fur mama of one 85lb , 3 year old mush who is hyper, energetic , and very needy. I love taking him on walks, to the beach, and anywhere he can go to get his energy out. My fiancé and I are planning our dream wedding and I would love to offer pet care in your house ( or mine if your dog or dog friendly) . I would love to give someone the opportunity to go on vacation without the Warriors of their pet being lonely or not getting the attention they deserve. I’m well experienced in dogs of all breeds and sizes and emotional/ physical needs. I am a teacher Monday- Friday but have weekends and summers off. I can be there before and after school, as well. Weekends I am free. I want to offer your pet lots of love, care and engagement while you are traveling. I try to keep them on their normally scheduled routine and work with the pet parent to make sure they are comfortable or have any special requests.

About: Aside from having a family dog for 15 years, I have house/pet-sitting experience working for family members and close friends since 2007. I have never met a pet I didn’t adore. I’m self-employed, which means very flexible hours. Weekends are not out of the question with notice. I always try to find ways to make scheduling work. I will make sure that your loving companions are safe, fed, walked (if applicable), loved and attended to for the entire duration of my visit.

About: I've owned a dog ever since I was 12 years old. Dogs have gotten me through the best and worst parts of my life. I have a background in physical therapy and massage and for years I enjoyed bringing my dog to work every day, she became the nursing home mascot, seeing the joy she brought to both my patients and coworkers made every day at work a great day :). I work in Saranac Lake and Lake Placid as an independent contractor. My work schedule/hours can be very flexible/adjusted accordingly as long as I have advanced notice to plan accordingly. I live on 4.5 acres with a long driveway set back from the road. My property backs up to a wooded trail network. I also have a very large, gated Freedom Fenced in dog play area on my property. Dogs are free to all areas of home without restriction. Unfortunately, my husband and I are allergic to cats so I am unable to board them. I do have a 3 year old daughter, so if boarding, pet must be good around children. I also do not board or provide in home services for dogs that are exposed to smoking or vaping of any kind. Please note; when providing pet care services, I will never leave a dog unsupervised, or under the care of anyone other than myself.

About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was 17. I have had lots of experience walking active larger breeds and taking care of puppies, kittens and cats. When I’m not hanging out with animals, I stay active and creative. Over the years I’ve worked as a preschool teacher, full time nanny, swim coach/ instructor and security guard in New York as well as Northern California. I believe that understanding animals vocal and physical actions through sincere intuitive observation, is the most important quality to have when taking care of a pet and their needs. Safety, trust & environment; There are many safe trails throughout the Adirondacks that I’m comfortable walking dogs on and I always bring water to share with a on the go water bowl! When traveling with animals I always put on a gentle playlist I made for my own pets to ensure they don’t get any anxiety from the sounds of being on the road. I have a great amount of experience with bathing/ washing dogs and cats for either sensitive issues or just a routine bath for a muddy pup. I have lots of experience with handling and providing medication to animals, as well as bottle feeding with a gentle approach.
