About: I have had pets my whole life. I currently have a small farm. I have chickens, ducks, turkies, pigs, dogs and cats. Alone with rabbits and guinea pigs. we are a very pet friendly area. Live in a wooded area on a dead end street. I currently work from home and have time for pet care. My youngest daughter is also in the home. Also have my granddaughter here on the weekends. she is 11. I will provide care in my home since I work from home this is the best for me at this time. I also have my 11 yr old granddaughter here on weekends.
About: I've owned a dog ever since I was 12 years old. Dogs have gotten me through the best and worst parts of my life. I have a background in physical therapy and massage and for years I enjoyed bringing my dog to work every day, she became the nursing home mascot, seeing the joy she brought to both my patients and coworkers made every day at work a great day :). I work in Saranac Lake and Lake Placid as an independent contractor. My work schedule/hours can be very flexible/adjusted accordingly as long as I have advanced notice to plan accordingly. I live on 4.5 acres with a long driveway set back from the road. My property backs up to a wooded trail network. I also have a very large, gated Freedom Fenced in dog play area on my property. Dogs are free to all areas of home without restriction. Unfortunately, my husband and I are allergic to cats so I am unable to board them. I do have a 3 year old daughter, so if boarding, pet must be good around children. I also do not board or provide in home services for dogs that are exposed to smoking or vaping of any kind. Please note; when providing pet care services, I will never leave a dog unsupervised, or under the care of anyone other than myself.

About: I’ve worked with dogs on and off for years but have had dogs all of my life. I have given played with big packs of pups and done solo play times as well. I have a flexible schedule that will let me have more availability for your fluffy friends to get out and play and exercise. I’m looking for a long term dog caring commitment to start off my new year. I am not able to do home care ( in my home) at this time. I do have two wonderful dogs who love to have play dates at puppy parks and go for long walks.

About: I have 9 dogs with my husband as well as a ferret. We have a mix of breeds huskies, pit bulls, Kane Corso, yorkie. I have veterinary experience. I love to take care of animals. I I am available whenever I am looking for something that I can do in my spare time I used to be in retail and also veterinary field. About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was 17. I have had lots of experience walking active larger breeds and taking care of puppies, kittens and cats. When I’m not hanging out with animals, I stay active and creative. Over the years I’ve worked as a preschool teacher, full time nanny, swim coach/ instructor and security guard in New York as well as Northern California. I believe that understanding animals vocal and physical actions through sincere intuitive observation, is the most important quality to have when taking care of a pet and their needs. Safety, trust & environment; There are many safe trails throughout the Adirondacks that I’m comfortable walking dogs on and I always bring water to share with a on the go water bowl! When traveling with animals I always put on a gentle playlist I made for my own pets to ensure they don’t get any anxiety from the sounds of being on the road. I have a great amount of experience with bathing/ washing dogs and cats for either sensitive issues or just a routine bath for a muddy pup. I have lots of experience with handling and providing medication to animals, as well as bottle feeding with a gentle approach.

About: Aside from having a family dog for 15 years, I have house/pet-sitting experience working for family members and close friends since 2007. I have never met a pet I didn’t adore. I’m self-employed, which means very flexible hours. Weekends are not out of the question with notice. I always try to find ways to make scheduling work.
