“This was our first Rover experience and Becky did a great job keeping us up-to-date with how our dog was doing. There was lots of play time mixed with just hangin’ out. I appreciated not having our dog come home smelling like a kennel (which we have experienced with big boarding facilities) and the fact that someone is monitoring how she is doing. Thanks, Becky!”

“Chelsea watched my 14 year old dog for a weekend while I was away. I think he enjoyed it so much I have never seen him act better! Highly recommend if you have an older dog or one that needs a bit more attention!”

“Thank you, thank you, thank you! Bruce felt so at home. Sarah and her family treated our dog like family. They followed his cues to go outside and cuddled with him. Highly recommend!”

“Sara was amazing! She sent lots of pics and updates. She was very responsive to my messages. I will definitely be a repeat client. My pup was so happy with her and her dogs. Thanks sara for taking such great care of my sweet boy!”

“Nora was amazing! She fit me in last minute and was extremely patient with my dog being slow to adjust in new spaces. Great updates and photos throughout the booking. Would definitely recommend any of your precious fur ones to her!”

“Victoria took excellent care of our pup! She sent us daily updates with pictures so we could see that Bowser was comfortable and happy during his stay-cation. When we arrived to pick him up, he was outside waiting for us wagging his little nub tail! Thank you so much!”

“This is the second time we have used Mariah as our sitter and we have no doubt we will use her again and again. Her attention to and care for our girl goes above and beyond, we could not recommend her more.”

“Sarah was wonderful with my two dogs, seriously. She communicated with me throughout their whole stay, which I sooooo appreciated. My pups struggled with some separation anxiety since they’re not used to being away from home (I’m with them constantly as a stay-at-home mom), which led to a few accidents despite Sarah letting them out regularly. That’s on my dogs still adjusting to a new environment, not on her care at all. She stayed patient through it, kept me in the loop the whole time, sent pics regularly, and never made me feel like a burden for checking in. Gonna do some anxiety prep with my doggos, but I’d happily book with Sarah again if she’d have us. I can’t recommend her enough.”

“She was amazing there dog aurora is so cute and friendly. My dog had the best time and came home absolutely exhausted will definitely have them as my first choice for all bookings”

“My dog Gus received excellent care with Mary Jane. She provided frequent updates and was flexible when my pick up plans changed. She provides a safe and loving environment with opportunities to explore outside and cozy places to rest inside. I highly recommend her services.”

“Emily and her family were so good with our baby girl (Shiba Inu) she didn’t mind sending pics or videos, and her kids treated her like she was part of the family, we definitely will be using her again for our dog breeding needs”

“Celsei is amazing! She sent me so many photos and videos, as well as many updates. She relieved any anxiety i had about being away from my dogs for a week, i felt so comfortable knowing how well my dogs were being taken care of. I will definitely be boarding with her again”

“Tasha was fantastic and took great care of my cat, Frankie! She was very flexible when it came to dropping him off/picking him up, and sent frequent picture and video updates. Frankie had a lot of new friends to play with, and I loved seeing how easily he adjusted with a welcoming host!”

“Lucy definitely made my dog feel comfortable. I appreciated the communication since I received a few pictures a day of my dog. Lucy did a great job and made sure to give my dog her medicine. Thank you!”

“Tracy was amazing with our senior dog, Fezzick! He wasn’t used to being away from us so I was hesitant to leave him with anyone. Tracy updated us regularly and provided lots of pics which helped ease our anxiousness. She helped Fezzick during his time away from us and helped ease his anxiety too. I won’t hesitate to book Tracy for Fezzick’s next stay. Plus, she and her husband were super friendly!”

“Deborah is very friendly and has a great location for my dog to run around and play. My poodle had a really fun time playing with her dog! Took great care and fed my dog plenty while being boarded. Will be booking again.”

“Emily is the best. She is calm and confident and will diminish any anxiety about leaving your pet with her. My two very energetic boys have a blast at her home. We love her (and Josh 😊). ❤️”

About: I have been taking care of all sorts of animal companions for 20 years! I worked on a Farmed Animal sanctuary and took care of chickens, goats, turkeys, cows, and pigs. I have had cats and dogs my whole life and specialize in both senior care and puppies. I’m great at training pups and love to be active. If your dog needs a good hike, I’m your guy! I’m currently working the early morning shift and have plenty of time after work to care for your babies. I also have weekends off so go on that day trip you always wanted to and leave it to me. My dogs are my children. I take them hiking, swimming, walking, and/or to the dog park at least once a day. I’m just starting out as a personal trainer so if your dog needs a jog around the block I can do that.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
