About: As retirees, Steven and I have reached a point in our lives where we have the time and freedom to pursue something we truly love...caring for our furry friends! We have 2 great guys of our own, Mac and Zac! Our flexible schedules have afforded us plenty of time to devote to those 2, providing them with the absolute best loving and safe home environment. In fact, we think they think we retired just for them! They have never been happier. And we know your pet (s) will love being with us too. We absolutely hated when we had to choose to lodge our guys in an impersonal setting, such as a commercial kennel. So we decided to "pay it forward" and offer others a much better alternative for their pets. Not to mention, the peace of mind of knowing that your pets are in the best of care. So whether it's walks, playtime or just good company, we are here to help! Being retired affords us the opportunity to be home daily. Therefore, our services are available 7 days a week. We love being outdoors but more than anything, we love pets! We've found that dogs have a sense of routine. Changes in that routine can be over-stimulating. Therefore, the preferred setting for dogs is to be either in their own homes or in a more personal home-like setting. That's why our services are so vital. Theirs definitely NO PLACE LIKE HOME (or HOME-LIKE) . We offer spacious climate controlled accommodations which include: 1. 2 - Generous size sleeping suite with room to move around and relax comfortably. 2. Comfy and clean doggie beds or you can choose to bring your own. 3. Individual feeding station which includes filtrated water dispensers 4. Personal Care - Individualized care catering to dog's unique needs and preferences

About: I have had the privilege of caring for pets since I was 11 years old. I've worked closely with friends, neighbors, and family to care for their pets while they're away. This has involved daily feeding, walking, occasional bathing, the administering of daily medications, and various other responsibilities. I've also had the joy of raising my own pets over the years, including several puppies and kittens. My daily office work hours are 8-4, but my weekend days are free to spend with your pets! I currently have two cats of my own and enjoy taking care of them every day! I make sure they have all the care and entertainment they need to live happy long lives. I also have family pets that I visit often to spend time with. I have previous experience with staying in client's homes to care for their pets. About: I grew up with a Rottweiler named diamond. She got old and had arthritis so she needed medication at a certain time. Her walks had to be timed and within mobility. I am a full-time student my classes usually end early to mid afternoon, so my time is a little bit more flexible typically I have an hour to two hours in between certain classes. Since growing up with animals, I’m always on high alert whenever I hear like a rustle of a bag or weird noise coming from pets I’m on my feet and checking out what they’re doing and what they’re getting into for their safety. I also try to keep things that are hazardous for animals out of their reach or put up in my home. I have child box on cabinets in my kitchen and my medicine cabinet .

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
