About: I’ve been taking care of dogs basically since birth and have had my own personal dogs for a total of 12 years now. I have experience with training, nutrition, and general care so I’m very familiar with the variety of needs your dog may have. I also just obtained a bachelors degree in zoology so I’ve been studying animals my entire life. I am currently going to school online and working remotely as well, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your fur children. I personally have a husky mix myself who is very friendly. Since my schedule is so flexible, I am able to go on as many walks as you wish with your dog, either alone of with my own dog. I have a fenced yard and one male dog who is neutered and very friendly. Because my dog is a husky, I am used to staying out in the yard and supervising him so your dog won’t be left out in the yard alone.I also have a crate that can be used to crate my dog or yours if need be. I’m very flexible and open to whatever sleeping arrangements you are most comfortable with for your pet.

About: My own dog, Zeus, who was a German Shepard, had developed hip dysplasia in his elder years. He passed in 2024 but in his last years of life I learned to properly administer his two medications, and was able to trick him into taking them when he was stubborn, which was all of the time. I cleaned up after him while my parents were away and sat with him when he was anxious, which again, was all of the time. I took him on walks when he was younger and was able to handle his strength. I adore dogs and understand the stress of leaving a special needs dog by themselves. If you need a calm energy for your senior dog, or playfulness for your puppy, I'm your guy. At the moment I am still looking for a full or part time job, so my days and nights are completely open for those who need a sitter. I will care for your dog by first making sure they have their nessecities, food, water, medication, and a bathroom break. If we go on a walk I will make sure their harness and leash are secure, and am willing to walk however long your dog wishes to walk. When we come back to your home I will make sure he is uninjured, no issues with the feet or body if we go to a dog park. I am willing to do anything and everything to ensure the safety and health of a dog.

About: Hi! I’m Ella, and I’ve been around animals my entire life. Growing up, we always had at least three dogs and a few cats in the house, so caring for pets has always come naturally to me! I have over 8 years of pet-sitting experience and have cared for dogs of all sizes, from tiny Dachshunds to big German Shepherds. I’ve worked with puppies who are still potty training, senior dogs who need a little extra help, and pets who take daily medications (I’m pretty good at sneaking pills into turkey when needed 😉). I love being outside, so if your dog has lots of energy and enjoys long walks or hikes, we’ll get along great! But I’m also totally happy taking things slow and letting your pup stop to sniff every blade of grass along the way 😂. I’m currently in nursing school and am EMT-certified, so I’m responsible, detail-oriented, and comfortable staying calm in unexpected situations. I only have 1–2 clinical days a week, which means I have a pretty flexible schedule otherwise. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I’ll make sure they get lots of love, attention, and care while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet them! I know our pets are family, and leaving them in someone else’s care can be stressful. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable while you’re away! Whether I’m stopping by for a walk or staying in your home, I’ll give your pet plenty of love, attention, and care. I’m also happy to send lots of updates and photos so you can see how much fun we’re having together!

About: Of course! Here's a casual, cute, and warm version that includes both dog and cat care: Lover of Furry Friends I’ve been caring for dogs—and now cats—for most of my life. My dad always said pets are family, and I totally agree. I grew up spending weekends at a rescue shelter, getting covered in puppy kisses and cat purrs, and learning how to give love and patience to every little (or big!) furry buddy. Whether it’s wagging tails or purring laps, I’m all about making your pets feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. Treating them like my own, with plenty of cuddles, playtime, and maybe a treat or two—because they deserve it! I’m currently working part time so I have more time to be able to care for your fur babies. Plus they help get my daily exercise! ❤️😁 My services for boarding will be taken place at my home. I do not have a huge backyard but I live near a park where I can let the dogs walk around and have a grand time. I do not have any dogs in my home so your pup will get my undivided attention.

About: I have been owned by cats and dogs in the past. I recently transferred with my job from the East Coast to Utah, and now reside in Northern California and currently frequent the Humane Society to visit with the cats and dogs waiting for homes. Pet Sitting - I am able to walk them/feed in the mornings and after 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Thursday - Sundays more frequently. I do prefer overnight pet sitting. I am reliable, responsible and have a "knack" with most pets. I do need to know about any behavioral issues (likes to chew on things that aren't their toys for example). Do they do well with new people? I prefer not to sit pit bull terriers, but mixed breeds I don't have a problem with. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
