About: I have been in the pet industry for 15+ years including veterinary, retail and boarding. I also did house and pet sitting for a good friend of mine many times. I have worked in the petcare industry for more that 15 years. Most of it as a retail manager. I've done veterinary and boarding jobs also. I'm ready to basically become my own boss and do what I really love. I am still a part-time retail worker and full-time homemaker but would love to include your pets in my everyday activities! I have fur babies and scale babies of my own. This includes 1 dog, 3 cats, 2 tree frogs, 2 leopard geckos, 1 hamster and multiple fish. They are not only my hobby but part of my family. My dog and cats are allowed on furniture so they can cuddle with us.

About: I'm accustomed to feeding, walking, and giving oodles of love to cats and dogs after constantly growing up around animals. I've taken care of big and small dogs, including a range from chihuahuas to the biggest German shepherds I've ever seen. I am used to and comfortable with feeding/watering, walking, playing, cuddling, letting out, and bathing dogs and cats. I am more than happy to welcome your pet with open arms and tons of love! (Updated 9/12/24 6:00pm) Currently, I am available for house-sitting, check-ins and walks from 10am (EST) to 9pm, open all week aside from Friday — I am not available that day as of now. For house-sitting, I can arrive earlier or leave later if requested. I'm flexible and happy to communicate any schedule conflicts, special conditions, or different times. I like to introduce myself to an animal in an open, "hey, I'm here to be nice and friendly, maybe ask you to poop" kind of way, letting them sniff, touch, or watch me for as long as they need to in order to feel comfortable with me. I talk to pets in a calm, soft voice while I care for them, and follow their body language and any meows or barks that mean they may need something. I'm happy to follow any schedule they're accustomed to as well.

About: I have taken care of big and small dogs since I can remember. I love meeting new animals and making them feel safe and happy! I am extremely respectful of peoples space and am always early to everything! I have experience giving animals medications as well as dealing with food allergies. I also have experience with senior animals. My parents chihuahua is 20 years old and is also blind/deaf and I am always their first call for a sitter! I have two dogs of my own and they are my babies! I can’t wait to meet yours! I currently work at a Taco Bell as a General Manager. I make my own schedule so I will be able to squeeze in clients last minute! I work 8-10hrs a day so it will be no problem for me to be able to visit with your pups before and after my shifts! I am a master at following directions! I can follow any list of directions you would like followed while i am house sitting/pet sitting! I have experience crating animals & also walking on a leash!

About: Hi there! My name’s Nikki. I’m 28 years old. I’ve had dogs my whole life, cats too! I’m a full time nurse with two fur babies of my own at home (Ozzie; my 3 year old super fluffy husky and Goose; my 1 year old all white shepherd). I understand what it’s like to need someone to watch over your babies who you can rely on and trust that they’re in good hands. I spent summers as a little girl with my dad helping train dogs/puppies. I have experience giving medications, shots, drops, and caring for animals on special diets. I’ve always loved animals of all shapes and sizes (dogs, cats, horses, chickens, you name it)! We love play time, going for walks, and/or snuggles on the couch while we watch a good movie. I can assure you your babies will be in the best of hands under my car and will most DEFINITELY be spoiled rotten! Reach out with any questions or concerns you may have :) My hours are flexible with work. I typically work overnight shifts 1-3 times a week and any other time I work is usually 4-6 hours at a time during the afternoon/evening. Most weekends are free. If I’m not around for 6+ hours, my partner helps me out with my fur babies and will gladly help out with yours as well. I have a few acres I live on, no fence yet but we love walking around the land and exploring (leashed of course). I have plenty of room for crates if need be. I have two very friendly pups who are eager to keep your babies company!

About: I’ve had pets of all sizes, shapes, and needs. I’d love to take your dog for a walk, feed your bearded dragon, or snuggle with your cat. Working from home allows me the flexibility to give special attention or break for a walk any time of day! Your pet will love laying at my feet, exploring my fenced in back yard, or getting some exercise on a walk around town. I have a fenced in yard and an old, friendly dog and 3 cautious cats to keep your pet company. Your pet will have run of the house like they’re at home. I am happy to crate your pet if that is your preference.

We take walks or just play outside ... sunshine and exercise and good for all pets. About: I have been raising and caring for a variety of animals for over 25 years! Having experience with all kinds of animals, I know the importance of meeting the needs of each animal and giving it the love and care it deserves and desires. I have several families that reach out to me when they are planning a trip so that I can care for their pets while they are away. I understand the importance of maintaining the pet owners routine, commands, and affection with their pets to help reduce anxiety and stress while they are away. My goal is to love their pets as if they are my own. I have cared for our own dogs as seniors and have experience with failing body functions and know how to administer medications and assist the animal with getting up and moving around. I also have much experience with puppies since I breed Australian Shepherds and care for the puppies from the time they are born until they are at an appropriate age and health standard to go to their new families. I am so excited to meet many other pet families in our area and live on your pet so you can feel comfortable and at peace any time you need to travel and your pet has to stay behind. It’s hard enough to say good-bye, so having peace of mind on how they will be cared for while you are away can make a good trip a GREAT one!! I am available most days of the week for 24/7 care since we are a homeschooling family and I am a stay at home mom. Pets are allowed in our home as long as they get along well with other pets and children. I do have an unground fence and collars that I can use to teach your pet to stay in our yard. I also have two nice size kennels that give dogs plenty of room to wander inside and outside the kennel walls.

About: My childhood was filled of all kinds of pets and pups. My whole life I've always had at least 3 fury babies in my life. I was intrigued by how intelligent our pets are so I began to work with them. I'm very good with all kinds of training from pups, teens, to our grandparent's. I've trained dogs for a couple of friends as well as my grandma's farm dogs ( Great Pyrenees). Today I have four babies and they are all well trained. I have four large dogs that I take care of everyday. Once a day I take my dogs to the park for walks. we go on, hikes, swims, and we go to pet friendly areas for people connections. I would love to bring your loved one along with me. I have a perimeter collar for my hound dog and leashes with harnesses for my other three. I am very alert around my dogs . They are just like children you have to keep a close eye one them. My dogs are also inside dogs. I would treat ur dog like one of my own. Your baby is safe in my care.

About: We live on a farm with miles of hiking trails, a large pond, and a big deck to watch the world go by. We can run, swim, play, or just be lazy. The yard is not fenced but we can go for lots of leashed walks in the woods or around the pond. I work from home and am available 24/7. I’ve had dogs my whole life and am experienced training herding dogs, understand dog behavior, and love all dogs like they’re my own. They’re welcome on the furniture : ) Come be a part of our pack Currently work from home and have a completely open schedule. Happy to pick up and drop off whenever needed, but try not to leave my dogs for long in general. 75 acres of fun with mindfulness keeping your pup safe on the property. Leashed walks/runs, plenty of activity, and a large safe home to hang in. 1,000 sq ft deck is enclosed.

About: I’ve had animals majority of my life from horses, dogs, cat and even small animals like birds and hamsters. I’ve also worked at a Veterinary Clinic for 2 years, as a veterinary assistant and in the boarding services. when working with animals with different personalities and needs, the most important is the greeting introduction, always try for a fear free and slow introduction, to ensure good relations for future meeting. I do have experience with insulin shots and giving medication in different forms (pills and liquids and injections) i work a 8-5 Mon-Fri with a hour lunch i can check in with pets and will be available any times after that or weekends i ensure to follow any rules you may have for your pets or scheduled i like to offer as many walks or potty breaks as needed and of course playing time with enrichment activities

About: I was raised around animals of all kinds. I have experience with puppies, kittens, adult cats and dogs, as well as, senior pets. I have spent time working in a professional dog boarding/daycare facility, and I have gained experiences in dog behaviors, interactions, and care. I can administer medication and follow any special meal requirements including special diets or any special feeding routines or habits. I am comfortable with cats of all sociability and dogs of all kinds. No one is too big or too small! I am at home full time caring for my nieces and nephew ages 2, 10, and 14. I do prefer that any guests are friendly with children, cats, and dogs, but I do have space to separate if needed. I have a flexible schedule and am willing to work around yours! I am also available early mornings and late nights to help you provide your pet the best care. Ensuring the safety of your pet is my top priority. I will follow any instructions exactly. I will take extra care with reactive dogs and make sure that I am aware of all triggers and rules that you may have for your pet. About: I’ve taken care of dogs/cats almost my entire life. I have 4 children, each dog I’ve ever had or have is my family and heart. I am a pure animal lover and I’m always the first person my friends or family ask to watch their pet :) I’m looking more for drop ins & dog walking. :) Thank you for considering me!!! About: I have never gone without having pets. Growing up we had as many as 20 animals in total. I always strive to have a personal relationships with every animal I can. Have worked with training puppies and kittens as well as spending time with seniors. Love all animals but particularly my big dogs! I am new to the area and wanting to get to know neighbors and Texas! Figured playing and walking pets would blend the best of both worlds to do that. I will ensure to keep pets safe and secure while being mindful of each pet family. At my home I ensure all doors and gates are shut and on walks harnesses and leashes are secure.

About: I started off as a freshman in high school, cat sitting for a family friend every vacation where I cleaned the litter box, tidied up any messes, and fed. Now, I have worked at an animal shelter for almost two years (mainly with dogs). During this job I have gained extensive knowledge on dog behaviors, body language, and positive reinforcement training. Now I work at the Planned Pethood Clinic as a vet assistant. I can orally or topically medicate your furry friends if needed, even your difficult pets! The days i’m available are Tuesdays and Fridays. Feel free to contact me anytime those days and I will plan my schedule around you, as it’s my “free days”! I can work you in if it’s an emergency on Saturdays, but I try to reserve that day. Communicate any special needs or concerns with me and I will make sure to follow them. I want to keep your dogs routine as normal as possible. I will bring my own training treats for if I need them, so PLEASE let me know if your dog has allergies. (treats will always have a short ingredient list and be healthy)

About: I am highly active, with a background in high-level sports. I workout weekly at a local gym, stay on my feet all day at work, and have a high energy dog myself. Every thing I do from sun up to sun down is focused on health and the growth of those around me. If there's an opportunity to train an animal, I tend to seize that moment. The more our pets understand us, the easier it is to live with them. My dog is a well-fed, exercised, played with PitBull/Boxer, if I neglect him, I lose my friend. I am currently a Full Time Manager at a Retail Store and I look forward to my free time outside of the job. I only work 8 hours a day (alternating between, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift), allowing me to offer my pet services early mornings, mid-day, or late nights (time slots may vary). I will take in account of all enviorments, dangers, and inconveniences while with your pet. We will avoid any problematic situations, respect all forecasted weather, and move as far from traffic as we can.

About: I have taken care of fur babies for nearly 20 years both professionally and also for neighbors and friends. I’ve looked after ALL different dog breeds, lots of kitties, and even some birds, fish & a tortoise. I’ve had a dog (or two) my entire life and find myself for the first time not having one so I thought it would be a great time to look after other people’s fur babies once again. I live in Smith Mountain Lake but willing to commute to you!
