Two reviews because she was flexible and let me drop off one hour early. I booked with her specifically because she said that no other dogs would be there on the dates I have selected because my dog does very bad with other dogs. When I go to pick up there is a dog locked out of the balcony. On day of pickup she lets me know that for the last two days my dog had diarrhea and vomiting sickly during that time. She’s been home for 2 days and she can’t control when she uses the restroom and has only had diarrhea, has vomited x6 times, and is refusing to eat. When she gets taken out she strains to use the restroom and nothing comes out. I have had this dog for 10 years and she has never been this sick in her life.

Texana is absolutely WONDERFUL! I had to find a sitter for my bf’s dog, Nova on short notice while traveling for an event and she was so great! I appreciate her taking a last minute booking! It was great that she kept me updated the whole time with texts and pictures. She’s very sweet, helpful, and communicates well! My bf and I are in agreement that there’s no doubt she’d our first choice to let her watch Nova again! We highly recommend her!

I am in the military and have used Rover for 3+ years when I have taken leave for training/visiting family and I have never had a worse experience with a sitter. From the beginning communication was spotty and seemed to not be a priority. I informed Texana prior to our meet and greet that Milo was recently attacked by another dog and must not be around other dogs. On the first day of boarding she texted me to confirm that “Milo could be around other dogs right?”. A few days later she asked if I could pick him up early bc she had another booking request come in (I am currently out of state). I received one photo (upon request) and very few updates on how Milo was doing during the week he was with Texana. When I asked how he was doing she said fine and the next message I received was her informing me that she would be charging me a $65 cleaning fee due to him having accidents around her apt. Milo has been house broken since he was a puppy and has not had an accident in the home in years (4 yrs old). This concerned me and led me to think he was not being let out often enough. Charging a cleaning fee mid-boarding is also against Rovers policy. It must be confirmed and added prior to paying for boarding. She insisted he was being walked frequently but when I finally found another Rover (cost me an additional $75) to pick him up early due to concern for my dogs well being she stated that he could not be picked up in the morning because she would be gone prior to 8:30am and would not return until 5pm. I do not recommend using Texana for boarding. This past week has been extremely stressful and uncomfortable for both me and my dog.

Texana was so kind and my pup seemed to have a great time! She worked with me on hours as I worked late and was very friendly and responsive. I would definitely recommend!

My 3 cats stayed with Texana for just over a month while I was transitioning my living situation. They were well cared for, even the more picky and temperamental one, and I could see that the friendliest of them was almost reluctant to leave! She stayed in touch about their health and let me know when they needed supplies. I definitely would use her services again in a situation I would need to and recommend her to anyone with cats that need to be cared for.

My dog has been home for 5 days and has had intense diarrhea and vomiting from something she was eating there. She has sensitive stomach and wasn’t being fed the correct food. I asked Texana if she had enough dog food or needed more food and they indicated that they were all set. Additionally when my dog got home I could see her ribs. She was so skinny I could count individual ribs. None of this was communicated. We have been at the vet now for 3 days out of 5. Not a happy camper. 2 stars because Texana was very accommodating when I had to extend my trip last minute and they seem nice enough.

One of the greatest pet sitting experience I ever had. Texana did a great job of taking care of my cat. She responded to my texts in an hour and always sent pictures of pet. Definitely recommend her!
