This is the first negative review I've ever left on a Rover sitter but my experience was unsettling enough for me to do it. I booked Skyla to watch my 2 dogs. When she came for some last minute directions prior to me leaving her husband dropped her off. I shared with her what she needed to know and as I left I told her husband who was still in the car if he wanted to go inside he could. Skyla reached out while I was at the airport to ask about the dog, to which I told her that DJ was dog reactive and was not a good idea that after he was attacked as a pup he was probably traumatized, she told me she understood and would take her dog to a friends. Her husband ended up staying at my home as well, to which I didn't say anything to Skyla even though she should have confirmed with me prior to the stay. I was only to be gone for 3 nights 4 days, on the 3rd day my inside camera went offline (it had never before gone offline). I didn't ask Skyla but thought it was weird. That night at 9pm my door monitor went off and I happened to have my phone so I looked at the video, it was her husband letting her dog out of their car and into my house. I texted Skyla and asked why that was happening to which she said it was miscommunication and the dog was going to the friends home (the dog never left that night). After this happened I looked at previous nights video where I could see they would bring the dog into my home and that she even tried to mask bringing the dog in by standing in front of the doorbell camera. I proceeded to book an earlier flight to get home as I was very concerned about my dogs as her dog is a Malinois and mine a pitbull, regardless of how nice if these dogs got into it there could have been serious injuries. I arrived home at 10am and her dog was in the car already, I told her and her husband to leave and how disappointed I was that she lied about the dog being in my home and the danger she put the dogs in doing that. My dogs were in good shape and taken care of but that is beside the point in my mind. I hope this experience doesn't happen to someone else and that Skyla is forthright with who will stay with her in future visits (dog or human).

Skyla was an amazing puppy sitter and house guest! I had Skyla watch my pup for a week while I was away and I was put at ease through the entire time. Skyla sent photos and/or videos everyday of Rosie playing outside, wrestling with Diesel, or snuggling up with everyone. I felt so comfortable leaving Rosie with this loving bunch and highly recommend her! Will definitely be using regularly for future work trips. Thank you again so much, Skla and fam!

Skyla spent 3 nights with Mako in my home and took excellent care of her. She sent tons of pictures and videos and followed all instructions. Highly recommended!

Skye was super attentive to my picky and hyperactive Rottweiler’s needs! Hudson needs a ton of stimulation and interaction and she took the utmost care of him and our home!

Skylar was great with both my dogs I will definitely use her again!

Sky was wonderful with our two dogs and even the cat was happy. We had to leave unexpectedly for an overnight trip and Sky stepped in and house sat for us and we will use her again in the future. Sky was knowable, caring and respectful of our home and how we wanted our family members treated. Sky was even able to make some behavior correction on one of our dogs that we recently rescued, what a difference.

Skye is awesome! She shared lots of photos. I will definitely be hiring her again!

Skyla did a fabulous job of taking care of our senior dog and our home while we were away. She had to administer 3 different eye drops several times a day and did it with ease. I would recommend her to anyone looking for somone to care for their beloved pet.

Skylar watched our dog Mazie for four days. Mazie is a senior adopted dog we have had for 2 years. I work from home and Mazie is accustomed to walks and constant company. Skylar walked Mazie on her scheduled and house sat for us. We received pictures and updates daily. Mazie did not miss a beat when we returned, and we can tell she was well cared for while we were away. I will be using Skylar in the future. Edwina Johnson

Sky is one of our go to people in the area for dog care. She has good experience with demanding dogs which is super helpful, and she’s very communicative which we like. 10/10 recommend!!

Skyla watched our golden for us for over a week. She took such great care of him and made sure that he was happy while we were gone. She made sure to keep us updated every visit.

My husband and I can't speak highly enough of Skyla! She did a fantastic job with our two dogs while we were out of town. We received consistent updates and excellent communication while our two senior doggos enjoyed the company, care, and lots of love and play time. She even groomed our lab, which he definitely needed to cut down on the shedding. This was our first time using Rover and we will absolutely do it again the next time we travel. It was so great having peace of mind while we were away.

Skyla and her husband Joseph were very helpful and did a thorough job letting out our dog while I was at work. They are very hands on and great with communicating! Our dog loved them and we will definitely reach out to them if we need help again!
