“Carol was fantastic! She took Chief in last minute for 10 days when I left for a family vacation and my original sitter had a last minute change in schedule. She sent pictures everyday and her pup was very friendly and didn’t get jealous. I highly recommend Carol.”

“Lauren and Cody were wonderful with Reggie! He was probably not ready to come home! Plenty of updates and pictures were provided. We felt confident that our sweet boy was in good hands! We would definitely use Lauren and Cody again.”

“Kenya took care of our Milo for 9 days while we were out of the country. And she was so awesome with him. She often sent us updates and pictures in regards to Milo while we were so far away. I really appreciated that so much! We will certainly book Kenya again! I wish I could give her more than 5-stars.”

“This was my first time booking on Rover and was a little nervous about leaving my dog with someone new. Shante sent daily pictures and videos of my dog which help ease that stress. He was in great hands”

“Absolutely love Janelle! She stepped in and helped us out even tho Theo wasn’t feeling too good and she helped make sure her got his medications on time and was eating well! Theo loves her and knows her home from the moment we pull in!:)”

“Aynavia kept me informed on Sheldon every day. She sent photos and updated me on his activity level. I felt very comfortable with her watching Sheldon while I was away on a work trip and I recommend her to anyone looking for a communicative and conscietious sitter.”

“Nicolette kept my baby Zeus for an extended period of time (nearly 3 weeks) while I dealt with a family emergency out of state. I had not a care or worry in the world while he was there, knowing that he was in excellent care. She and her family love on him like he is their own. Highly recommend!”

“By far the best pet sitter I have ever had! Would recommend to any and everyone. Beetlejuice didn’t want to leave. Wonderful family and pups got along with him so well!”

“I can’t say enough about Emily! She watched both of my pups while I was away on vacation and they were sooo loved! She sent lots of pictures and updates. Will definitely be boarding with her in the future.”

“Jennifer was truly a blessing. She agreed to take Wesley at the very last minute, and I honestly can’t express how much that meant to me. From the moment I met her, I felt a sense of calm. She was warm, attentive, and clearly comfortable caring for larger dogs. Wesley is a 100 lb Weimaraner, and leaving him isn’t something I take lightly. Jennifer made it easy. She kept me updated and treated him with patience and kindness. When I picked him up, he was relaxed and well cared for, which told me everything I needed to know. I’m sincerely grateful for her flexibility and the care she showed my big baby. I would absolutely trust her with him again.”

About: As a pet owner myself, I have experience with how to keep feeding routines, administer meds, walks, playtime, potty breaks, grooming and recognizing when something isn’t quite right. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I’m currently working remotely and part time. This leaves me plenty of time to care for pets on weekdays and weekends, throughout the day. Early mornings and late evenings are no problem. We have a private fenced in yard for those that need ample activity. Pets are cared for in the home but also have their own room for when they need a quiet corner.
“We have been so happy with Tracy and her level of care for our toy poodle. Tracy and her kids treated our dog like she was family. I know our dog felt right at home while we were gone. I received multiple updates and pictures while we were away. We’ve booked with her twice now and will continue to use her for the future.”

“Hannah was great and our pup had so much fun! She was very responsive and kept us updated on how he was doing. I loved that she sent us pictures and videos too. We will definitely be using her again!!”

“Bradley graciously accepted a short notice booking for our dog Ghost. He was very communicative and responsive leading up to and throughout the boarding stay. Bradley’s dog Beaux is very sweet, gentle & got along well with Ghost. We 100% recommend Bradley for boarding.”

“Crystal was awesome… she watched my energetic yorkie Lila- bit.. who has never stayed any where before and hadn’t been around many other pups… I felt so comfortable leaving my baby with her… I didn’t worry at all which is amazing… I really think it was good for Lila to be with other people and pups… crystal said she would love to keep my little wild child again… Lila and I are hoping we have a new friend and home away from home for Lila for a very long time… we will recommend Crystal to all are friends and family with fur babies….”

“Savannah and Kadyn took awesome care of our dog, Rosie. They sent us multiple pictures and videos to keep us updated on how Rosie was doing and you could just see how much love and attention she was getting during her stay with them. Not only that, but they were so incredibly accommodating to us when the snow storm hit and our travel plans were disrupted. They even offered to have our dog stay the night before when we thought we may have had to leave earlier than expected. For pickup, they accommodated us once again, so we could pick up our dog late and then they were available when our time changed. They communicated with us so well the whole time and we are happy to have found a great dog sitter in Lafayette! We will definitely be using them again!”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in LA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
