About: Hi!! I’m Mackenzie!! I’m 26 and im a lifelong animal lover with years of hands on experience caring for pets of all breeds, sizes, and ages. From snakes and chickens and of course puppies to senior dogs needing extra attention. I took some time off dog sitting for awhile due to some life changes and i cannot wait to get back at it as i LOVE doing this. About: I've had pets all of my life. I love all animals especially dogs. I currently have a toy poodle named jewels . Jewels is actually my sister's dog but she was born on my birthday and we've been inseparable since the first day I laid eyes on her. The love of a pet is unconditional and that's one of the characteristics i love most about dogs. They can sense danger and they can also sense when they are in good hands. Im a 35 year old stay at home mom (to a 2 year old daughter) that loves animals and wants your fur baby to be shown as much love as I would show my own. Hopefully I can help someone whose feeling the guilt of working long hours and not being able to walk or spend as much time as they would like with their pet. Ive been there before so I can definently relate. Sometimes things come up and it has happened to all of us. Im ok with schedules but I also understand that things happen. Some situations are unplanned and last minute and that's ok with me as well. Communication is everything. About: Back in 2014, I attended Tennessee College of Applied Technology, graduated early with my diploma in Assistance Animal Laboratory Technicians, also with a certification in Purina Mills Animal Care Course. I have done an internship with North Shelby Animal Shelter as well as Bartlett Animal Shelte, where I took stray dogs/ abandoned out for walks and to play. About: I worked at the PetSmart Pets hotel for several years. I also worked at Camp Bow Wow. Ive taken care of lots of fur babies. I have a cat and a dog. I'm currently working part time as a receptionist. I work Monday-Thursday from 12PM-5PM. It leaves me with plenty of time to house sit and spend time caring for animals. I am respectful of other peoples spaces. I am loving towards all animals. When I am pet sitting I give the animals lots of attention. When i am house sitting I make sure to leave the space tidy. I am able to watch dogs overnight in my home. Again I have a dog who loves to play with other dogs. I kennel him when I leave the house for short periods of time. There are two dog parks in my area. We usually go on walks and hit up the dog park. I would bring your dog along with permission. I have open availability for pet sitting. I can pet sit at your house or mine. I am available for walks and drop ins too. My pets have breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening. We go on a walk in the morning and then when I get off of work. We go to the dog park a lot. I make sure to keep the dogs on leashes whenever we leave the residence. <3
