This was my first time ever needing a dog sitter who wasn't a family member or friend and having my current 6 month old timid velcro puppy means that I had to be extra wary of where I leave her. When Anya and I met Audra during the meet and greet we were able to chat for a while and I felt totally comfortable explaining my own concerns and Anyas needs of patience and time. Audra was able to address them all and the answers she gave made me feel she would be a great fit. Dropping off my puppy was hard but it was easier knowing that someone who seems to really love dogs and was capable of accomodating a more timid dog had her. I was able to get updates throughout her daycare stay and when I picked her up she seemed perfectly fine and elated to see me. Driving home she was plum tuckered out and napped but when she got back home Anya was back to her regularly scheduled trouble. I gave her a look over and saw no issues and behavioral wise Anya acts as if she had never been gone at all. Afterwards I asked Audra some questions about Anya and how she did to follow up with her dog training and received prompt responses that will help me make sure that this timid pup continues to thrive and grow in confidence. If I have to find someone to watch her again or need an overnight boarding I will definitely see if Audra is available first.

Jasleen took our last minute day care booking graciously and promptly. She saved our day. She is so nice and accommodating to us and our dogs’ need. She treated our pets like family. Which is everything I could ask for when I’m unable to take care of them myself and have to leave them under someone else’s care. The photos and videos we received while we were away are much appreciated! We are thankful to Jasleen and will not hesitate to trust her with our pets whenever we are in town.

About: I've been caring for dogs and cats since I was young and have owned and cared for my own pets for over 7 years. Through caring for my pets, as well as those of friends, family, and neighbors, I've gained experience with dogs of different sizes, breeds, energy levels, and personalities. I also volunteered at an SPCA shelter, where I worked with a variety of animals and learned the importance of patience, consistency, and attentive care. I fostered a pup from this shelter for 5 months. I'm physically active and enjoy long walks, outdoor activities, and playtime, so energetic dogs will get plenty of exercise and attention. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while providing owners with regular updates and photos for peace of mind. I currently have open availability and can easily work around your pet's routine. Whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, or a quieter day with plenty of attention, I'll make sure they get the care and companionship they need. I'm active and enjoy being outdoors, so dogs who love exercise and adventure are always welcome. I also have experience fostering pets! I believe pets are happiest when their normal routine is maintained, so I follow each owner's instructions closely regarding feeding, exercise, medications, and house rules. I take a patient approach with every animal and make sure they feel comfortable and secure in my care. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners, with regular updates and photos throughout their stay.

I'm about 500 reviews behind! But since moving to Fresno I have yet to experience a week without Cyrillia's AMAZING care. My dog is the center of my world making him my greatest benefit as well as inconvinicence. Cyrillia has eased my every concern, and so much more! Her and her son's tender love and care have set the bar impossibly high for dog care and I am no longer able to imagine my days without her! Kopel can barely contain his excitement upon pulling up to her house, is nowhere near ready to leave at the end of the day, and begs to go back 24/7. Long story short: Cyrillia is the best dogsitter and I am eternally grateful!

Kaitlin and Ryan were lovely with our pup, Mac. We initially planned to leave him in LA but at the last minute I decided I didn’t want to leave Mac behind. We booked very last minute and they were willing to take Mac and accommodate our schedule until 10-11 pm. They provided photos and updates throughout the evening. I live in LA but visit family in Fresno often and I’m grateful to have found Kaitlin & Ryan to leave Mac with when needed.

About: Animal care has always been a huge part of my life and my strongest passion. I grew up on a ranch so My life has always been about animal care. For many years now I’ve worked as a volunteer for many local rescues as well as independently fostered many animals as well. The feeling of saving an animal from a horrible situation, showing them how love and attention feels and finding them their forever home and family will always be my most rewarding accomplishments and such an amazing feeling. Aside from rescue work, I’ve been pet sitting since I was in high school. It started with family and friends and just grew over time. I have an amazing clientele that I’ve had the privilege to work with over the years and I enjoy creating that trust and bond with a pet as well, I feel that it makes the time away from their parents so much more comfortable and enjoyable for them because I know a lot of animals get separation anxiety because they don’t understand what is happening and change is hard. That’s also why I like to try to keep them on the same schedule and routine as much as possible to attempt to make the transition as easy as possible. I’m experienced with elderly animals as well as special needs and puppies too! There isn’t much I cannot handle lol. I also have experience with reptiles, farm animals and exotics too. I’ve taken nutrition courses, I’m certified in CPR and grooming. I’ve taken behavioral classes and poison control courses as well. I know how to administer basically any form of medication, including IV. I love to take pets on walks when they’re in my car because it helps with anxiety and it’s all around enjoyable for us both! I may be small, but I’ve managed to walk two huskies and a pit bull at once, multiple times so personally I feel like that’s impressive lol. I take them out for many potty breaks and I understand accidents happen in the house or car sometimes as well, so I use all natural cleaners when needed. I like to give many updates, weather it’s for drop ins then I’ll let you know when I arrive and leave and send pictures in between. If I’m house sitting I’ll send random pictures and updates through out the day/night and if for whatever reason I have to leave(to the store or to get food) I also let you know. And house sitting is the same. I also have my mobile grooming kit with me at all times too so If you think your baby needs a bath, their nails cut/grinded down, teeth cleaned, or even fur colored(100% vegan and animal safe dye only) please feel free to let me know any time. I have a simple form that I ask for you to fill out during our meet, it’s just basic questions like food schedules, any allergies, medication information(If applicable) vets information and misc. things You think I should know. I have had many people even just write me a care sheet which also works. I prefer the form/care sheet method just because everything important is right there so if eliminates any room for error. I make goodie baskets for new clients as well as the end of each visit I leave a little report card you know exactly how amazing they did! I make the treats in the baskets from scratch even if they have an allergy I can accommodate! I can make treats for all animals as well. If you have any further question please feel free to reach out, I will always respond and in a very timely manner. I hope to hear from you soon and I hope I can become your pets new best friend! I’m currently working by appointment only, so my schedule is extremely flexible and I can almost always work my schedule to fit yours, if there’s any scheduling conflict I will know at least 24-48 hours ahead of time and I will 100% come up with a plan with you that works! Everyone is free roam in my house but I do have multiple size kennels set up in my home as well(they are comfy and cozy as well lol) so If you have a kennel trained baby who needs them, just let me know! I also can help out with kennel training too if needed. I have a fenced in yard but they are never unsupervised. And if we are going for a walk, I like to keep in inside my gated community where there’s hardly any traffic and there’s tons of grass to sniff and enjoy! Lol If I'm not out doing TNR and rescue work I enjoy spending time with your fur baby and would love to do this full time. I myself have a fensed in yard for everyone to roam and play, but still always being attentive and making sure everyone is safe too!

Thanh-Mai was so lovely with our dogs. Maple and Chloe have only stayed with my parents so we were nervous about finding a dog sitter for our wedding night. We met her and the dogs instantly loved her as if they already knew her. She came to the wedding venue to pick up our dogs promptly and kept us in the loop with how our dogs were doing. She took great care of them and we are so happy we found her.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Jennifer! They took such incredible care of my Jace, while I was away. From the moment we met, I knew Jace was in loving, capable hands. They kept me updated with daily photos and messages that made me feel completely at ease—and honestly, Jace looked like he fit it right at home. It was clear they treated him like family, giving him plenty of playtime and attention. He came home happy, calm, and clearly well-loved. If you’re looking for a sitter who is reliable, communicative, and will treat your pup like their own, look no further. We’ll 100% be booking with Jennifer again!

About: Hey dog lovers, My name is Alexis. I started walking dogs when I was 12 for the elderly and I loved it because I was helping people who are not able to walk or people who don't have time. Around the same age, I did volunteer work at the SPCA. I don't have the time to have a dog of my own full time (let's face it, they are like kids). I was raised around dogs in my youth and took care of them all my life, so i have plenty of experience. I also have been walking for WAG for 4 years and have a 5 star rating. As well as references and reviews! They will be treated like my own fur babies. I provide a doggy bed and treats. I’m available anytime now. I’m a full time student and this is going to be my priority until I finish schooling. I will have plenty of time for your pup! I have a house that I own in a very great community! The community I live in has a field for dogs and lots of places to walk. I do have a backyard but it has not been fenced in yet.

We saw that she has a LOT of experience with dogs. Our 10yr old Golden Retriever came back happy! We would come back and recommend her to any of our friends.

About: I’ve had elderly dogs and took care of them since they were younger. I would care and hold them when they needed it, I would also provide them with wet food to make it easier them for them to eat. But I have experience in taking care of them so if you have any dogs that need elderly care I can do it! And I love to play with younger dogs as well, I have a yokie and she energetic and loves to play with her many toys she has. My dog outside he’s older and I love to just sit and watch everything with him and sometimes when he feels good he likes to run around with me outside. But all in all, I would love to take care of your dogs because I have some of my own and I know how it is to leave them in someone else care, you get scared. But please trust me I will love them and care for them like they are my own babies :) I’m currently doing some online college classes. They don’t require that many hours to do and I usually do my work later in the day so I can spend time with my dogs in the morning and afternoon. My home has a backyard that is fenced and it has RV parking on the side that’s also fenced, I also don’t have an RV so it’s empty and just another space for dogs to run around with me. The inside is a three bedroom, one story house. Two of the rooms the dog can be in. The living room and kitchen are also places the pet can be with me but one of the bedroom is the only place off limits. And we have a front yard that the pets can walk on, also the neighborhood is safe as well so I can take them on walk too.

About: I’ve worked with dogs for as long as I can remember! I started with training and caring for my family’s pets when I was younger, and now I train dogs professionally. I show and compete in multiple dog venues such as agility, obedience, rally, conformation, and nose work. I’m currently a part time dog trainer and groom from my home, so my schedule is relatively flexible and I’m only away from the dogs a few hours at a time max. The dogs are integrated in every part of my day. I usually take them on walks, do a quick training session, or play with a toy, depending on what the dog prefers!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Pratton on Rover is $66.6 per day (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of June 2026, there are 246 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Pratton. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Pratton commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 246 sitters in Pratton, 91% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
