About: Greetings! My name is Cassie, and I am a self-proclaimed crazy corgi mom. I have had dogs of my own for 14 years (corgis named Camden and Savannah), and cats for over 20 years. I also worked at a veterinary clinic from age 16 to 20 - full disclosure, I was a receptionist, not a vet tech. However, my time there has helped develop my comfort with furry friends of all sizes. I have no fear of any breeds. I have worked with Great Danes, Mastiffs, Rottweilers, Pitt Bulls, GSD, and more. I am a military veteran with a law enforcement background. I know how nerve-wracking inviting a stranger into your home to take care of your loved ones. Trust is earned, and I hold myself to a high standard. My day job has very flexible hours during the summer, so I have plenty of availability during the day to help care for your pets. I have taken care of dogs who needed oral medication and sub-dermal injections. I am also comfortable giving insulin to cats, though not oral medication (unless liquid). I work for ISU, so during the summer, I have a very flexible schedule. As long as I have time to take care of my own dogs (a senior and puppy), I am available to assist folks with their own pets. There are several things I consider when walking dogs: 1) Familiarity of the area for your dog / their anxiety (if any) - If your dog is anxious, I don't want to take them to areas they are not comfortable. This is especially true when they do not know me well yet. I'd rather do several laps near the home than stress them out. 2) Weather - It's hot out there. I will stick to walks on grass whenever possible to ensure their paws are not damaged by hot concrete. On particularly hot days, I would prefer to keep the walk short, followed by play inside. 3) Traffic in the area - Safety first!

We currently have two 40 lb mixed breed dogs, both spayed females and very sweet, as well as two indoor only cats. At this time I am only providing drop in amd walking services. I make sure to spend quality time with them, whether it's cuddling, playing, or just being there to keep them company. I understand how unsettling it can be for pets when their owners are away, so I prioritize offering reassurance and comfort. I always keep the house safe and secure for your pets, making sure they’re in a good environment. If there are any specific rules or boundaries you have (like keeping them out of certain rooms or areas), I follow them to the letter. Each pet is unique, so I’ll follow any special care instructions you give me, like specific feeding schedules, medication needs, or any preferences they have. If your pet has any special needs, I’m happy to provide extra attention to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I keep pet parents updated with photos and text updates during my visits. This way, you can rest easy knowing how your pets are doing. I always let you know if there’s anything unusual or important happening while I’m there, but I also want you to enjoy your time away without stress. I clean up after your pets, whether it’s cleaning litter boxes for cats or wiping down paws after walks. I make sure their living space stays clean and tidy, just like you’d expect. I’m there to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and happy, and to keep your home exactly how you left it!

About: I am a retired nurse with 44 years of experience taking care of patients, but also have cared for pets throughout my adult life. I am active and able to care for your special family member. I am retired and have a very flexible schedule including the ability for overnight care, early mornings, or late evenings. I live on the south side of Terre Haute with reliable transportation. I enjoy taking my pets for walks, even during the cool temperatures. I like to talk to and play with my pets. I love dogs and their interactions with humans. About: I’ve been caring for dogs, cats, chickens, horses, cows, you name it my entire life. I’ve had small dogs such as chihuahuas and as big as English mastiffs. I’ve dealt with giving dogs medication and bathing for medical reasons. I’m currently working part time for a few hours a day. I will be home 90% of the day to be able to care for your pets! I have a five year old husky mix who is the sweetest baby. She follows me everywhere. She is crate trained and goes out without a leash. I would do whatever was needed to make sure your animal is in a safe environment and well taken care of.

About: I've grown up taking care of dogs/puppies, cats, kittens, baby deer grown deer, elk, Buffalo, and horses. (We have a farm;) they're a part of my world and they make my life more beautiful. Wouldn't imagine life without them or my kiddos! I have two dogs and a cat and I have been the cat and dog sitter for a few of my friends for years now. About: I've taken care of pets since I was very young, and as an athlete I'm always looking for more excuses to get out of the house, expecially when it involves animals. About: I have worked with a variety of dogs of all breeds. I've worked as a trainer, I've worked with families on dog introductions to the family, getting dogs used to other dogs to release tension. Dogs are either friends or family so I believe you treat then as such. Love is all they need to get them to the best friend and dog they can be. We believe in positive reinforcements. Although I'm 25 I received my first dog on my 5th birthday. She was a rescue pitbull she was the best dog ever. Then later adopted a Rottweiler when I was 13. Both dogs bonded immediately and became best friends as well as being my best friends. I will make sure to treat your dog as my best friends as well showering them with love.
