“Marsha is amazing. She sends so many fantastic pictures and updates and when you have a puppy it's wicked helpful. Our dogs were clearly really well loved and played out which is great. We are thankful to have had Marsha watch our dogs for a long weekend!”

About: For the past 2 years I have worked full time in veterinary medicine. I’ve spent 1.5 years working as a kennel technician in lodging at a veterinary hospital. I hold myself to a high standard when it comes to being responsible for someone else’s pet. And I am always so honored to be entrusted with that duty. The rest of my time to current day has been spent on working as a veterinary technician and furthering my education in veterinary medicine. I have taken care of elderly dogs/cats, kittens/puppies, animals with medical conditions and/or daily medications. I also have some experience with basic dog grooming (bathing, brushing/deshedding, nail trims/dremel, anal gland expressions) I pride myself on pet enrichment and client communication 🐾 I am currently taking online courses to further my education and career in healthcare/veterinary medicine. I am looking for flexible or more relaxed work that allows me to fit my studies in at home or on the job. I am trained to never let dogs off leash unless in a secure area (fenced area, indoors, kennel…etc) unless instructed otherwise, I am trained in how to properly fit and equip leashes and harnesses, I also have slip leads of my own if needed. I have been trained in fear free handling techniques and have experience with handling pet medical emergencies. I also know doggy and kitty cpr. I am trained to be as alert and attentive as possible to the animals in my care and I will always do my best to assure their safety and happiness.

“Liz did a fantastic job of taking care of our two Boston Terriers. Rose is very timid and it takes time for her to get used to new people. Liz handled that issue quickly. She sent multiple pictures showing both of our dogs being very happy and cuddling with Liz. Everything was handled perfectly and it was wonderful to come home to two dog happy to see us. We will definitely use Liz for all future trips.”

“Kirk was an excellent pet sitter. He went above and beyond for our fur babies and kept in contact with pictures throughout our trip. I would definitely book him again!”

“Annabelle was a fantastic house/pet sitter! We were gone for two weeks and she followed all our house instructions and pet requests. We felt our pets would feel most comfortable staying in their house vs a kennel. Annabelle was there to keep them company and make sure all their needs were met. It made our time away much more enjoyable and stress free. I would definitely request her house/pet sitting service!”

“Paulina was above and beyond that I could have asked for. Constant updates and pictures, taking those extra steps to even tidy up and clean the messy floor. It was a blessing to know my babies were taken care of and a huge relief to come home and know everyone and everything was in good shape. Will absolutely ask for her help in future trips and needs. She is a wonderful person and sitter.”

“Katelin was very attentive to my girl. She gave me updates on how she was doing and sent pics daily as per my request. She left my home very tidy and clean as well. I would definitely recommend Katelin for your peace of mind with your fur baby.”

“Briana was very communicative the whole time we were out of town! We have a large dog that is very picky with new people and she took great care of him! We received several photos and videos over the four days we were gone. Definitely recommend!”

“Debbie was great and the hounds loved her. She spent quality time with them and enjoyed the late summer weather out on the patio. She followed instructions and gave good snuggles to the dogs. I would recommend Debbie to watch your pets.”

About: My family has always had animals and I’ve been helping to care for them since I was a child, as well as doing pet-sitting for many friends and family. My mom, who will share Rover duties with me, has started and run two dog rescues over the last 17 years and has personally interacted with a couple thousand dogs of all temperaments and ages. Right now we live on 5 acres with 5 dogs, 3 horses, one house cat, 5 barn cats and a bunch of chickens. We are VERY accustomed to having stranger dogs in and out of the house and know how to handle introductions to the pack. My mom and I both work on the property full time and there is almost always someone home with the animals. Very occasionally, they might be left for an hour or two if we are both running errands. They would be crated or confined to the back yard or my bedroom during this time (depending on weather and the specific needs of the dog). I will also occasionally take the dogs for a walk down at the river, if that’s the sort of thing they like to do and they’re good on a leash. The dogs have free access to a large, grass back yard when weather permits and supervised access to the rest of the property. They are not permitted in with the horses or chickens but the chickens do come over the fence sometimes. The indoor cat stays in my room and doesn’t interact with the large dogs, but all dogs need to respect cats because we don’t want her or the barn cats being harassed. We use crates for feeding and sleeping, but most of the time the dogs are out and lounging about on a variety of sleeping surfaces.

“Teagan was a great house guest and dog sitter. The pups were sufficiently tired so we know they got good play time. 😁 Communication was great and much appreciated. We'll have her back again for sure!”

“Kadee did a great job with our pets. Excellent communication including pictures and videos while we were gone. Our pets were happy and well taken care of. Our home was left clean and she even laundered the bedding she used. We will definitely be using her again if possible next time we go out of town!!”

“I was extremely pleased with Mariah. She sent me photos as well as frequent messages during her stay. She cared for my 2 dogs as well as house sat during my one week out of town. I will most definitely call her again when I need house sitting or pet care.”

“Jamie and our dog got along from the first meet. While we were gone she kept us updated about our cat and dog. She is a great communicator and we felt good about leaving our pets and house in her care. I would definitely want her next time.”

About: Hello! I love all animals. I have had dogs and cats since middle school. Now i have a Boxer, and one cat in my home. The bigger the dog just means there is more to love! I am offering mostly pet check ins and walks. I can do reptile, bird or small animal care, as well as the listed services in Rover. I service a 12 mile radius from McNary, but charge an extra $5 per check in or walk for anything outside an approximate 5 mile radius of McNary. I hope you understand, and to you talk soon! I work at home M-F with a flexible schedule. I like to get outside more with the warmer weather. Walking and drop in times would most likely be morning, lunch time and evenings. I will respect privacy and boundaries, and follow instructions with attention to detail. I have a reliable Outback that can transport large dogs to walking areas, if that is required.

About: I have taken care of mini types of animals and will be willing too learn how to take care of your if I don’t know. I have four horses and I also have three dogs that have to have a job every day so they stay happy and don’t hurt themselves. I take care of my pets by feeding morning and night also checking water and looking over them making sure they didn’t get hurt when I was gone I would do the same for a client pet.

About: I have taken care of a variety of breeds of dogs and cats throughout my life. My parents have several dogs through six different breeds. Apart from feeding, watering, and running my parents dogs, I was often relied on by community members to be their dog sitter and to feed, water, and clean pens when they were unable to do. I am a student at Eastern Oregon University doing the online program. I can easily work around schoolwork everyday. I would love to take breaks to take care of animals. I am willing to do whatever it takes to take care of your animals. I can put them in a crate or let them outside.

Danielle D.
“I worked with Danielle at a Veterinary Hospital for a few years. She worked in both lodging and as a veterinary assistant. In both jobs she showed adaptability as well as close attention to detail and responsibility. Danielle shows a clear loving and care for all animals and you see it within her work. She is patient and reliable in everything she does. There has been countless times where Danielle has watched my own animals and she has been very trust worthy and attentive. She took time to learn their behaviors and gained the trust of my pets which can be hard to do. I wholeheartedly recommend Danielle and her experience just proves how dependable and knowledgeable she is.”

Larissa & Valerie P.
“My husband and I had to leave town for 5 days for a family emergency. Larissa came to our home with her delightful little dog (with our approval) to sit with our dogs. What a pleasant experience! When we came back our dogs were happy to see us but very clearly relaxed and calm - not stressed by our absence at all - despite this not being something they are used to. Our home was as tidy as we left it, no dishes accumulated in the sink, couch throws folded, etc. The directions we left were followed, medications given, feeding schedule maintained. I will absolutely call her again should we need a pet sitter!”
