“Mel is amazing, my Archuk enjoyed his stay , he made some friends. I was getting plenty of videos and photos .the best experience in rover , will definitely contact her first next time .Thank you so much Mel ?”

“We (including our dachshund Monty!) absolutely loved working with Nadine and Louie. They were gentle and welcoming and took such good care of our dog moving through a period of anxiety. We're so grateful to connect with them and will be returning.”

“I left my 5 year old maltipoo for a 4 night stay with Clairece and I cannot say enough about her, from her *Terrific, prompt communications, to her *Friendly, kind approach, to her *Excellent, detailed check-ins throughout the day, which she initiated; complete with pictures and updates with several bery happy looking walks and even couch time. I especially appreciated *How much Clairece cared and loved on my pup! It was 4th of July weekend, so I anticipated my pup to be nervous. Chauncey can already be a bit fidgity and clingy to his person. No problems though! He obviously fell for Clairece😍, as every photo showed a big grin across his face and that told the whole story! Also, when Chauncey wasnt really eating his food because of separation from me, Clairece quickly pivoted to giving him fresh food with my approval. I could not have been happier with this whole experience. Will 100% use Clairece's services again! Im sure Chauncey cant wait to go back!”

“Tania is a great caretaker!! She sent me updates of my pup throughout the day and was always easy to reach. I highly recommend booking your stay with her and I will definitely be having my baby Bruce stay with her again.🩵🩵”

“Our dog Gracie loves going to Sandra’s. When we get out of the car, Gracie pulls me to Sandra’s front door; she can’t wait to play with Bruce. Our most recent overnight visit was due to a family emergency and Sandra took Gracie with less than a twenty-four hour notice. Thank you Sandra”

“Diana was absolutely amazing! She took incredible care of Stark and Rufio over the Thanksgiving weekend, and we had complete peace of mind the entire time. Her communication was a 10/10 she sent daily updates, photos, and even surprised us with adorable holiday pictures of our pups by the Christmas tree. Such a thoughtful touch! Her home was spotless, our boys were clearly comfortable and happy, and she truly went above and beyond in every way. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Honestly, 10/10. We will definitely be booking with her again. Highly, highly recommend!”

About: I’m a proud toy poodle mom of two, so caring for small dogs is part of my everyday life. Dogs are very special to me, especially as a deaf person—I rely on body language and visual awareness, which makes me extremely observant and attentive to a dog’s needs, behavior, and safety. What sets me apart is my patience, calm energy, and strong understanding of how dogs communicate without words. I’m especially comfortable with small breeds, shy dogs, and dogs who need gentle care. I work alongside my mom in her home childcare business, which is located right next to my house. Because of this, I am home most of the day and nearby at all times. My schedule is very flexible, and I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and supervision. Pets in my care are rarely left alone for long periods. They become part of our calm, structured daily routine and receive lots of attention and care throughout the day. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and supervised home environment. I closely monitor body language and behavior to ensure every dog feels safe and relaxed. I follow feeding schedules, give regular potty breaks, and keep pet parents updated with messages and photos. Your pet will be treated with love and care, just like my own two toy poodles.
“I just picked up Strider from his stay with Veronica, and I couldn’t be more pleased with how well everything went. Strider was happy, calm, and well taken care of, which put my mind at ease. Veronica kept me updated throughout his stay, sharing photos and little details about his activities, and I could tell she genuinely cared for him. It’s such a relief to know he was in good hands, and I would trust Veronica with him again.”

“Grateful and would work with Brittany again! Left 2 pups with her with very different temperaments, one being a large young male and she handled them like a champ. No stress or worries, sent us pictures. A very kind person, quick to answer messages and accommodate. Attentive and polite. 10/10! Thank you, Brittany!! We can’t wait to go camping again just to leave our boys again with you 😅☀️💛”

“Laurel was just the kind of sitter we needed! I am new to town and needed to travel for work. She met with me and Oliver within a day and I felt assured he’d be in great hands. Her home is comfortable and clean, with a great yard for the dogs. Highly recommend!”

“Definitely would recommend Carola, she has so much love for dogs and you can tell she enjoys taking care of them. She treated our 5 month old puppy as it was her own, she kept us updated throughout the boarding with pictures and videos. I can tell that our dog enjoyed spending time with her and playing with his new furry friends.”

“Excellent service and very professional! She always kept me informed about how my little dog was doing and sent me photos. Blacki came back very happy after staying at her caregiver’s home. I’m truly grateful for the loving and patient care she gave my baby. I highly recommend her services 💯”

“Joanne did great with Kit while I was doing volunteer work in the Sequoias. Since it was hot, she brought Kit inside with the AC. She was very accommodating by letting me leave my camper and cooler there as well. I was very pleased and grateful with how things worked out. Would definitely use again.”

“Ashley is great! She’s very good at communicating while she’s in the care of our fur baby! I genuinely feel that Bailey was happy and felt at home. I will definitely book with her in the future! Thank you Ashley!”

About: I have over 10 + years caring for my own animals and 3+ years doing it professionally for others. I am currently offering pet sitting in your home, daily check ins, and dog walking services. Can also preform bathing. I have experience caring for birds, cats, dogs, hamsters, and fish. Excellent references available upon request. I am a long time animal lover and started caring for ducks at a young age. When I go older I begged my dad for a dog. My first dog was rescued from the streets as it seemed to be abandoned. “This was my first experience using Rover and I had my reservations, but Patty was great from start to finish! She really made me feel at ease with the daily updates and photos. I can't thank her enough for taking such good care of my pup. Will book again for sure!”

“Our two-day dog boarding with Keota was absolutely wonderful! Our dog settled in quickly and happily interacted with the hosts and their other pets. A huge thank you to Keota and her family for taking such great care of our dog while we were able to explore Sequoia Park. Keota was very attentive, regularly keeping us posted and sharing pictures and video of our dog. We definitely recommend them—an excellent place to leave your beloved four-legged pet!”

“first time leaving my baby with a stranger while leaving town I was very nervous and skeptical. However, Alex was so great at communicating, sending pictures to ease my mind, and making my baby feel at home. I will DEFINITELY be booking with her again.”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
