About: Dogs have been part of my family since I can remember. I can’t imagine a life without them. I first started dog sitting for friends and family at a young age (13-19). While focusing on my career I took a break from dog sitting, before picking it back up to support close friends in NYC who always needed a hand - whether that be dog sitting for the weekend or popping in to check on their pup while they were at work. During my 5 years in NY I also helped out with my in-law’s 6 dogs and now living in Tampa, I’ve adopted my own rescue pup. Maple is 3 years old and fully trained by me. She’s potty trained, knows commands such as sit, stay, lay down and even some fun tricks like high five and spin move. I’ve been working remotely for the past 3 years allowing me plenty of time to care for your pup! I’m also available at weekends and holidays. For those looking for a house sitter, I can work from your house during the day to give your pups all the attention them need. I also don’t need to stay over night if you’d feel more comfortable with me leaving late and returning early in the morning. Just let me know! I have a large fenced in yard allowing plenty of outdoor play time or lazing in the sun. Additionally if preferred I can crate my dog, Maple, to allow for separate play times. Please note I only have one dog, Maple. On my profile there are two dogs listed, my sister-in-law’s dog Willow does not live with me.
“This was Rachel’s second time watching Max and we were just as pleased as the first time. She is super attentive to his needs and routine and sends us plenty of pictures to keep us updated on how he’s doing. Not to mention Max LOVES Rachel and was super excited to see her again.”

“Michele was amazing. She gave my puppy Lila a grand adventure while I was out of town for the weekend. She sent plenty of pictures and updates to keep me informed. I know my pup was in great hands and looked so happy in all of her pictures. I’m so lucky to have found Michele to house and dog sit for me, she made it less stressful and easy! Will definitely use her again!”

“Sydney is great! My almost 16 year old, medically complex, dog was in good hands with her. Sydney was able to provide wound care and medication management for Zoey and took great care of our home. We will definitely be booking Sydney again.”

About: I have grown up around dogs, I had small dogs but also a black lab. My extended family also have pets so I have been around them since I was little and learned to care for animals. For the last 5 years I have hosted a variety of dogs in my home (majority large dogs), along with staying at owners homes as well. The past 3 summers I have watched over 8 different friends dogs for extended periods of time. This is my first summer in Tampa, that is why I am looking for new clients. Although, the past 2 years I have fostered dogs and kittens through Merciful Project in Tampa and have loved helping out. I have provided reliable basic care for multiple dog breads; walking, grooming, and feeding. Dogs include: pitpulls, dogue de bordeaux, labs, terroirs, poodles, weimaraner, German Shepard, Australian Shepard, and many other breeds. I am currently working as a hostess at a restaurant 4-5 days a week and I am looking to make some extra money in my free time. Since it is the summer I have a lot of extra free time so I would love to spend it with some furry friends. I live in a very large apartment, it feels more like a house, therefore; there is a lot of space for the dog if needed. My apartment building also has a dog park in one of our courtyards, along with 4 other available courtyard spaces for animals. I also have a second large dog park right behind my apartment building. My apartment is very pet friending, almost all tenets have a pet, therefore; the apartments are made to accommodate animals. The flooring is concrete, without carpeting incase there are accidents.
“Teagan stayed at my place for three days and took excellent care of my dogs. She kept me updated on their well-being and ensured the house was maintained. It was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend Teagan for any pet-sitting needs!”

“Christie did an awesome job watching my two dogs for a long weekend! They both loved her, she communicated with pics and messages, and she left the house in perfect condition. I can't wait to use Christie again to watch the pups and highly recommend her!”

About: Hi, I’m Dakota — a lifelong cat lover with a gentle, intuitive approach. I’ve had cats since I was a kid, and last year I said goodbye to my own sweet girl of 10 years. Caring for her through all stages of life taught me so much about patience, comfort, and really listening to a cat’s needs — whether that’s space, affection, or quiet companionship. I offer drop-ins, house sitting, and daily care with a calm, nurturing presence. I’m experienced with shy cats, affectionate cuddle-bugs, seniors, and cats with unique personalities or routines. I’m happy to handle feeding schedules, litter box maintenance, medications (if needed), playtime, and of course, plenty of soft attention on their terms. I work from home, so I can spend extra time with your kitty, keep their space feeling peaceful, and send lots of photos and updates so you always know they’re safe and loved. Your cat will be cared for with the same tenderness and respect I gave my own. 💛 I work from home, which means my schedule is very flexible. I can adjust to your pet’s routine — early mornings, midday visits, evening walks, or late-night check-ins. Because I’m home most of the day, I’m able to offer consistent attention, quick responses, and plenty of time for walks, play, or cuddles. Whether you need last-minute help, regular weekly visits, or someone who can spend extra time keeping your pet company, I’m happy to make it work. Your pet’s comfort and routine always come first. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I know how important it is to feel confident about the person coming into your home and caring for your fur baby, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m gentle, patient, and very attentive — the kind of caregiver who notices the little things, sticks to routines, and makes sure your pet always feels seen, secure, and cared for. I treat every home with respect and every animal with the same love and mindfulness I give my own. My space and my presence are calm, stable, and nurturing. Whether I’m visiting your home or spending extra time with your pet, you can trust that they’re getting a safe, loving environment where they can relax and be themselves.

Port Tampa City pet parents share their Rover experiences
Our sitter canceled just a few weeks before we were scheduled to travel do 10 days. I was a little nervous to leave them and almost cancelled our trip. After meeting Kylie I felt very comfortable. She gave us updates daily and took great care of them and our home. One of our dogs is a senior so it’s an added stress to leave him. I could tell when we arrived home he’d been well cared for. I’d highly recommend her and plan to use her again.

George fed my dog, slept with, played with and walked him, and i couldn't even tell my house had been visited by anyone else! He will definitely take your pet and house as seriously as it was his. He also watered my plants and took in a Sams Club delivery. Thanks for hanging out with Skeat, George!
