“Autumn was fantastic with Hadley. She kept me updated with how she was doing and it looked like my baby was having a good time playing with her dog. I will definitely call on Autumn again when the need arises.”

About: Hi! I'm Emory - I grew up with Golden Retrievers my entire life, and in my adult years I’ve rescued three mixed-breed dogs from the shelter ranging from staffy's, dachshunds, and chihuahua's. I live with my boyfriend Quinn who also grew up with dogs, and together we have rescued a dog of our own, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of our lives. After our own dog passed away a couple of months ago, we decided to hold off on getting one of our own right away and to help take care of other dogs instead. We have pet-sit for our friends and family for years, and also used Rover as a customer for our previous dog so I understand how important it is to trust the people caring for your pet and to provide lots of updates! During the week, I work a hybrid schedule, so your dog will get plenty of attention and companionship. On my work from home days, I’m home all day for walks, playtime, and lots of attention. Even on the days I go into the office, I’m only about 15 minutes away. I typically leave around 8am, come home during my lunch break from 12–1pm, and Quinn is home by 4pm, so dogs are never left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. They’ll get a walk before work, another walk and playtime during lunch, and plenty of walks, love, and attention in the evenings! Our home is very dog-friendly! Dogs are welcome on the furniture, get plenty of affection, and are treated like part of the family while they’re with us. Because I have rescued dogs from the shelter, we also have experience working with dogs who need a little extra patience and understanding. I know every dog has a different personality and comfort level, so will do our best to make them feel safe and loved.
“Took great care of our spaniel!!! She provided regular updates, pictures and communication during our time away. We will definitely be using Lauren again!”

“10/10 recommend ! Took care of my best friend like her own. Sent me so many daily pictures and updates while I was away missing my girl. Couldn’t be happier :)”

“We had a last minute issue with boarding Zoey for the holiday. A friend at work mentioned looking into Rover.com and I am so glad that I did. Hermun responded that she had room and that Zoey could come that evening. The first photo Hermun sent to us, I swear Zoey was smiling in her backyard! Zoey lost her best friend, Hogan a St. Bernard, early last year so she can be slightly territorial initially. Hermun was able to ease her initial anxiety and give her a lovely warm home to spend the weekend in with some cuddly buddies. She was in contact with us all weekend, letting us know how Zoeay was doing as well as with some friends she had made. We had a wonderful experience.”

“Tucker had an amazing time while staying with Margarita and Carissa. We are pretty sure that he had as good vacation as we did. Their son was Tucker‘s best playmate. We would highly recommend Margarita and Clarissa for anyone in the area needing a safe and loving home for their pet. Thank you again for the love and care.❤️. Bonus, they have an amazing backyard!”

“Kiran was wonderful. She is very communicative and makes sure that she has all of the needs for your little loved one. Plenty of pictures. Toby was very happy. Will use again. Thanks”

“Anastacia was great and took really good care of my puppy. She made everything easy and I didn’t have to worry about a thing while I was on vacation. Thank youuuuu”

“Shayna took excellent care of my dog, Arya. I felt very confident leaving my precious pup in her beautiful home under her care. Drop off and pick up were super easy - Shayna is someone who is friendly, kind and easy to work with! She sent photos each day I was gone and that made me happy to see Arya having a great time. Shayna and her family are the best of Rover and I look forward to having her care for Arya again.”

“Cynthia is phenomenal! She is sweet, kind, and very caring. As a new pup mom, I was nervous. She allowed me to meet her before I booked, which set me at ease. She sent me photos and videos and updates during my pup’s stay. I would 100% recommend and use her again! Thank you, Cynthia! 🐶”

“Julie and Brian were great! I had a geriatric 14-year-old dog and a five-year-old dog. My older dog required meds, and they took care of it perfectly, and sent me daily pictures and updates on how they were doing. The dogs returned to me in great shape, and I will be using them again! Thank you!!”
“I felt very secure with Linda taking care of my dog over the weekend. My dog immediately took to her and was happy and affectionate towards her when he returned also. I know he got a lot of snuggle time which he needed.”

“Evgenia was everything we could’ve hoped for in someone to care for Lucy! She sent lots of photos and updates, which made us feel completely at ease knowing Lucy was in such great hands. We’ll definitely be back!”

About: I’m an experienced dog sitter who genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away! I have experience caring for small and medium-sized dogs up to 65 pounds and understand that every dog has their own personality and needs. I grew up with Boxers my whole life so dogs with crazy and loving energy is where I thrive but also love and enjoy our calm pups too! I provide plenty of exercise through walks, playtime, and interactive activities to keep dogs happy and engaged. I also enjoy giving them lots of attention, affection, and cuddles so they feel right at home. Your dog's routine is important to me, so I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water available, and receive frequent bathroom breaks throughout the day. Whether your dog loves to play, relax, or just have a companion nearby, I will provide attentive, reliable care and treat them like part of my family. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands while you're away! I am currently working full-time during the week but get home at about 4:30p every day. I work from home every Friday and I am home most weekends so weekend sitting is where I will be most available! My schedule is flexible though so for longer needs, I can work around it with enough notice given. I have a fenced in yard and my sister who lives with me who also loves dogs very much. When in my home, I want the dogs I am watching to feel comfortable and wherever I am, they are welcome! I have a very open layout on the first floor with easy access to the back yard. The upstairs is very open as well with big windows and 3 bedrooms. As for caring in clients homes, I am very respectful and want the dogs to feel safe in their space with me there. I offer to wash them if needed, walk them, feed them, and take them to the dog park as well if allowed!
“Kyle watched my Lab/Shepherd mix, Maverick, while I was away for a wedding last weekend. From the start, he, his girlfriend, and their two dogs made me feel completely comfortable leaving Maverick in their care. Highly recommend to anyone in the Tampa area looking for someone trustworthy and reliable to watch their dog.”

“Sydney is so wonderful. My Velcro dog barely looks back at me when he spends a weekend with her. She sends frequent updates, and I feel totally comfortable having her watch my baby”

“Taylor was awesome with my dog. I am gone for 12+ hours due to my job and Taylor is the first dog walker I have used where I come home to my dog not being overly energetic. He clearly gets a lot of play time with her!! She is very responsive, professional, and sends the cutest pictures! :)”

“I appreciate Abi visiting with my cat, Cougar!! I was gone for a week and she came a few days and gave him love and attention! She sent lots of pics so I knew he was ok! Cougar approves and so do I!!”

About: Having grown up with cats, I would considered myself very experienced in this field. Whether that be food diets, cleaning or even taking care of specific medications. Cat sitting is just as important as dog sitting is to me because they are still an animal who needs love, and catering too. I have watched my roommates cat on multiple occasions, following her feeding schedule, cleaning her little box and also making sure she gets cuddle and play time.

“Cynthia was great! I was stressed trying to book someone last minute to check in on my cats over Thanksgiving and she responded right away. Very responsive and sent me lots of videos and photos during her visits! Very satisfied with this experience.”

About: I grew up with dogs. They have always been part of my home. My husband and I have a sweet 15 lb. Chihuaha Dachsund mix and four amazing teenage kids (ages 12-15), who all love dogs. Around here, dogs get plenty of love, attention, and care to help them feel comfortable while their family is away. I am a stay-at-home mom and will be the primary person caring for your dog. My family loves dogs and may be around to give supervised attention and affection, but I will be responsible for all care, routines, feeding, walks, potty breaks, and supervision during your dog’s stay. Your dog will be welcomed into a safe, loving home and treated like one of our own. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. I am a stay-at-home mom, so I am home often throughout the day and able to give your dog regular attention, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. Your dog will not be home alone for long periods of time. And with four teenagers in the house who all love dogs, there are always plenty of helping hands and extra attention to go around. Dogs are already part of our family routine with our own Chihuahua Dachshund mix, so adding care for another dog feels very natural in our home. Safety and comfort come first in our home. We have a fenced backyard where dogs can safely enjoy potty breaks, fresh air, and playtime. Since I am a stay-at-home mom, I can offer a flexible schedule with plenty of attention throughout the day. Your dog would be cared for in a loving family home with lots of dog lovers around. My kids enjoy helping in gentle, caring ways to make sure every furry guest feels happy, safe, and loved. I will follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, rest, and any special instructions you provide. My goal is for your dog to feel comfortable, cared for, and part of the family while you are away.

About: Dogs have been part of my family since I can remember. I can’t imagine a life without them. I first started dog sitting for friends and family at a young age (13-19). While focusing on my career I took a break from dog sitting, before picking it back up to support close friends in NYC who always needed a hand - whether that be dog sitting for the weekend or popping in to check on their pup while they were at work. During my 5 years in NY I also helped out with my in-law’s 6 dogs and now living in Tampa, I’ve adopted my own rescue pup. Maple is 3 years old and fully trained by me. She’s potty trained, knows commands such as sit, stay, lay down and even some fun tricks like high five and spin move. I’ve been working remotely for the past 3 years allowing me plenty of time to care for your pup! I’m also available at weekends and holidays. For those looking for a HOUSE SITTER, I can work from your house during the day to give your pups all the attention them need. I’m unavailable to stay overnight but will ensure your animals are taken for a late night walk/potty break before bedtime, and we will return first thing in the morning. I have a large fenced in yard allowing plenty of outdoor play time or lazing in the sun. Additionally if preferred I can crate my dog, Maple, to allow for separate play times. Please note I only have one dog, Maple. On my profile there are two dogs listed, my sister-in-law’s dog Willow does not live with me.
“Mariah was amazing with the pups. She was very communicative, and also early both days. We appreciated her taking care of the pups both days! The pups are exhausted! Thanks again!”

Friends often trust and utilize me to watch their pets when needed. I'm in charge of my own schedule at work, so I am able to easily accommodate your scheduling needs. I'm already a very active individual, so going on multiple daily walks and other outdoor activities with your pet will be easily incorporated. I'm very familiar with visiting other people's homes for various job duties, so I show upmost respect for your space and privacy. I will treat you, your pet, and your space as my work environment and will follow all rules and guidelines that you may set in place.

She adjusted the schedule to fit my family’s needs, which took a huge amount of stress off my plate. It was clear she genuinely cared about helping everything go smoothly. I really appreciated her communication, reliability, and willingness to work with us. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and understanding dog sitter/walker.”

About: I have two big dogs and they have taught me a lot. Each dog’s personality and temperament is different and over the years I have learned to recognize those and make sure I provide what is needed for them to live healthy and happy lives. With having two dogs as well as having my own work life balance, I know sometimes things can get hectic. Life pops up and especially with my sized dogs they are not the easiest to travel with. It would be great to be able to fly with my dogs but that is just not a viable option for me and for most. I also know that due to their size I can get nervous with who I trust to take care of my dogs. I want them to be in the safest situation possible and I feel as though I could provide that to whoever needs it with my experience. I have also dealt with managing medication from when my rescue dog Blue had heart worm. He had a few appointments over 3 months and during those three months he was on around the clock medication that varied in dosage as time went on. I currently am working full time but on a hybrid schedule. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and my partner works from home on Thursdays, so we have a pretty balanced schedule of being able spend time with and care for our dogs. Right now I am in an apartment complex so there is no yard. However there is a bark park that is completely fenced in and I am very confident in leash walking. I walk my two dogs (both around or over 70 pounds) with confidence. My animals are allowed on furniture and I do not crate them. I have locked garbages and shut doors where treats and other things they can get to are located.
About: *Update, there is now a 4month old healthy puppy in my household -- I've spent my whole life loving on and caring for pets. From extra large dogs to teacup Yorkies, I love them all. You will have perfect peace of mind while I'm with your 4-legged family member including, ALL the scratches and snuggles, walks, play time, feedings, treats as allowed, couch cuddles and anything else special they may need. I work from home with plenty of time for breaks, walks and play time. There is quiet, private space in the bedroom if your pup needs that. No roommates or other pets in the home - just us! Pets are adored in my home (or yours). Gated community in South Tampa, not far from MacDill/ the Gandy bridge to St. Petes. I have a balcony for brave ones who love fresh air and people watching. Dogs have free roam and are allowed on the couch, too.
“Zachary was very professional and efficient. Before the scheduled dog walks, he agreed to meet up with us and to meet our puppy, which we really appreciated! I work long night shifts and am gone for up to 13 hours. He was available to take out our active pup in the evening and also in the morning and gave me updates throughout. It was nice to know that our puppy was in great hands! We really couldn’t have asked for a better Rover experience!”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 12! I grew up having a dog, cats, fish, and hamsters. I have most experience with dogs and cats! I will feed, bathe, walk, and clean up after your pet. Whatever you need, I can do for you!

About: Hi! I’m new to Rover, but I have over 6 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I’m dependable, patient, and truly enjoy making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether your dog needs walks, playtime, feeding, medication support, or just extra attention and cuddles, I’m happy to help. I can also provide references upon request. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and routine are always my top priority! I have a flexible job and I’m off usually on weekends. I get an hr lunch in my job so I won’t mind to walk the dog if is necessary during my lunch break. As a dedicated pet sitter, I provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for like family. I understand how important trust is when leaving your furry companions in someone else’s care, which is why I prioritize reliability, patience, and attentive supervision at all times. From daily walks and playtime to feeding routines and extra cuddles, I create a calm and secure atmosphere tailored to each pet’s needs. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in a trustworthy, caring, and positive environment.

About: Despite never being a professional dog walker, I’ve owned dogs for my entire life and looking for a summer gig while I’m away from teaching. Currently, due to being in summer break, I have all of my time free to help out with your pets! Despite returning to teaching in August, I will still have availability throughout the week! I understand that every home and every dog will have their own specific needs so I can assure you I will do everything in my power to make sure they are met!

“Autumn was fantastic with Hadley. She kept me updated with how she was doing and it looked like my baby was having a good time playing with her dog. I will definitely call on Autumn again when the need arises.”

“Jennifer took such loving care of my dog! She made our pup feel like he was in his second home. She was also great about sending lots of pics & videos every day, so we were never worried while we were away. We will definitely rebook with her!!”

“Kylie was absolutely perfect with our dogs! She made me feel so comfortable about leaving them just by the way my extremely anxious dog responded to her. She kept me updated on how they were doing sending pictures and videos few times a day. She’s very friendly, genuine, understanding and my pup seems so comfortable with her. Definitely would recommend!”

“I can not say enough how amazing Viviana was!!!! She is clearly a dog lover and kept me up to date with pictures and notes on how my girl was doing. She took such great care of her and really spent a lot of quality time including playing a game to basically hand feed my dog because she doesn’t like to eat when not in our home! I was amazed and will definitely be using Viviana again.”

“Matt is very understanding, communicative and flexible. He sent me photos even though it was a one night stay! He was perfectly fine with my dog's crate and accessories. He makes sure all the dogs get along. My boxer, Felice came back a happy boy after playing with some new friends. Felice was well cared for and I recommend Matt.”
