About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life and have spent most of my adult life volunteering for 2 animal rescue organizations. I fostered over 170 cats for my last organization (that was over a period of 15 years!) caring for all ages as well as taking in some with medical needs. I'm skilled at administering medications of all sorts and we currently have an asthmatic cat that takes an inhaler. I've been a "cat person" my whole life, but love dogs too! My husband and I love the large breeds, in particular Mastiffs. We currently have 3 cats plus a Mastiff who is the biggest baby. :-) We recently moved to Delaware (from just outside of DC) and I'm looking to re-start pet sitting as I LOVE meeting new furbabies and taking care of them. I used to pet sit in VA but put it to the side when fostering took up most of my free time. I recently took an early retirement and have plenty of free time so can offer flexibility. Since I'm married my husband helps takes care of our own cats/dog, and he understands my love of animals and desire to help others. I understand that every cat/dog is unique, with their own personality and needs. I will take the time to get to know each one and tailor my approach to ensure their comfort level,

About: As both a dog lover and recently funemployed, I’ll be able to commit 100% of my time to taking care of your furry friend. I’m a previous dog owner of 11+ years as well as an experienced sitter for both puppies and several senior dogs. I do what it takes to make your pup as happy and comfy as possible while you’re away — I’ll treat them like family! Up until recently I’d been working in corporate, and I’m choosing to take a small break in between careers. About: From caring for 10 senior dogs at a rescue, to bathing dogs that got sprayed by skunks, to training and taking dogs on their own outings to parks and nature hikes, you name it I’ve done it! Even flying with dogs! ✈️ I have experience with all breeds, ages, and like to keep pet parents informed with notes & pics. Growing up in farm country taught me to love and care for all animals, but dogs and cats are by far my favorite. I also have experience in administering medications to our furry friends. I left my career of being a nanny in CA to move to the east coast to marry my husband. That was 2019, and I’ve been boarding/caring for animals since then. I’m currently a stay-at-home wifey so the dogs get 100 percent of my attention when they are with us. We live in a 3 story townhouse with a small unfenced yard in front of our home, to a large grassy area on the side of our home, to a giant green grass patch directly behind us just out our back door. The neighborhood is VERY dog-friendly with lots of sidewalks and comes complete with a dog park in walking distance. Our home is dog-friendly meaning dogs are allowed on all furniture and we even have doggie steps for little pooches to get up on our bed if they wish. We also have a 2mile + walking path near us. So we have plenty of activity options. We even have Pluto cartoons for your pet to watch! Pets get 100 percent of my attention when they stay with us. Their comfort and safety is my priority as I do pet care full-time. Our home has no place that’s off limits to your pets. If they want to snuggle on our bed or relax on our couch or even be in our guest room - they are more than welcome wherever they are most comfortable. We even have a massive bean bag most animals love thinking it’s a giant dog bed 😂.

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with dogs and cats, and now having two rescue dogs of my own, I just can't imagine life without them. I haven't used Rover before, but I've spent years watching friends' dogs and cats whenever they needed someone they could trust. I come to your home so your babies can stay in their own space, in their own routine. Every animal is different and I take the time to get to know them. Big or small, they all get the same gentle, attentive care. I just genuinely love animals, and that's something you'll see the moment I meet your pet. I'm always happy to set up a meet-up before booking so we can connect, your pet can get comfortable with me, and we can make sure it feels like the right fit for everyone I recently graduated from Arcadia University with my Master's in Physician Assistant Studies. While I study for my boards and prepare to move back home to Washington, I have time on my hands and want to spend it doing something I truly enjoy. Right now my days are completely open, which means your dog gets my full attention. No rushing off, no squeezing them in between a busy schedule. I'm there as long as they need me. As the mom of two very needy rescue dogs, I completely understand wanting your babies to have someone around as much as possible, and right now, I'm in a position to give exactly that! Since I will be in your home, my first priority is to respect whatever routine and rules you have in place for your pet. I am happy to provide as much or as little entertainment, snuggles, or space as your fur baby needs. When it comes to walks, I'm no stranger to dogs that pull on the leash or get reactive around other dogs. I've handled strong, reactive animals before and I feel confident and calm managing them.

About: Although my family has never owned a dog, I have always loved taking care of my aunts, neighbors, and family friends dogs. I always make sure to pay attention to detail when watching a dog and meet each dogs needs whether that be a walk, playing with a toy, belly rubs, or even just relaxing. As a part-time graduate student at USM, I will have time during the day for a dog walk, or to check-in on your pup! I will be available on most weekends for house and dog sitting. I am available to come to your dog and stay with him/her so they do not have to move out of their comfortable environment and stay at a new space with new people.
