About: Growing up in Port Angeles near the Olympic National Park, I have always had a strong love for animals. I received my Bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology so that I could work towards preserving threatened or endangered species. Through internships, volunteering, work experience, and personal experience, I’ve cared for a variety of species including cats, dogs, amphibians, reptiles, beavers, big cats, and wolf-dogs. I have 1.5 years experience working as a cat caregiver at a no-kill nonprofit animal rescue. During my time as a caregiver, I worked with special needs cats, senior cats, and kittens. I am currently working as a veterinary assistant at a local veterinary clinic. I have worked with dogs and cats with a variety of health conditions and temperaments. I have two cats of my own. I also work as a veterinary assistant full-time where I provide medical care to animals. This includes giving vaccines, drawing blood, trimming nails, providing food and water, and cleaning cages for animals that are staying in the hospital for extended periods of time. I would prefer to conduct a meet and greet with both you and your animal present prior to caring for them in order to establish their trust. I will happily take your dog(s) for 30 minute walks around your neighborhood, and I will pick up after them during walks as well. For in home visits, if I am letting your dog out to potty, I will make sure that it is only within a fenced area that your dog cannot jump, or that your dog is on a leash. I am also a firm advocate for indoor-only cats and I am careful to not let your cats outside when I enter or exit your home. I have experience feeding pets dry food, wet food, prescription diets, and raw food diets, and will be more than happy to keep your pet on their regular meal regiment while you are gone as I understand the importance of an established routine for animals. I have experience with medicating cats such as giving them eye drops, ear drops, pills, liquid oral medications, and subcutaneous injections. Lastly, I’ll make sure that everyone always has fresh water.

I have a well structured routine that allows for generous amount of time with my own beloved 3 yr old Mini Bernedoodle who is a delightful, gentle, social butterfly who adores others. Adding pet care to "our " schedule has been a heaert felt delight. When Boarding your pet with me; I have a spacious fenced back yard with a gentle and playful 3-year old Mini Bernadoodle (28lbs) for company. Your pet is welcome to play supervised outside and in-doors. I have a crate reserved for those who may need it. I provide additional safe toys, leaches and feeding bowls and have a strong understanding of dispensing medications and providing other special needs and requests to secure a healthy, safe and pleasant experience for your pet and piece of mind for you. If I visit or stay at your home, we will discuss safety and health requirments, with a play/walk schedule along with other food, medication and other needs.

About: For many years, I worked on farms, and personally, I’ve had dogs, cats, small mammals, and, although I have never owned one, I do love birds. I attended Bel Rea Vet Tech School on Colorado years ago, but I won’t make false claims. I have practical knowledge and experience mostly. I am available most days 9-5, and am easily contacted and responsive. Professionally, I was a personal trainer, so I am very good at following directions and am personally meticulous. About: I only learned of Rover about 4-5 months ago when I was searching for help for myself! When I travel and couldn't bring my dog I needed someone to walk and play while the hubby was at work. While I found this support, through the app, I still wasn't finding all the things that would make a TOP NOTCH Pet sitter for us. About: As someone who works online, my hours are completely flexible and can be done most anywhere. I use this to my advantage as a pet-lover. It means I get to be surrounded by pets as much as I can, and as someone who cannot have their own dog, I cannot express how fulfilling and heartening it is for me to do so. About: I have taken care of dogs of my own and other people’s dogs and cats since I was around 10, and have been involved in dog training since I was 13, even training my own service dog. I also dabble in dog walking. I used to work at a pet supply store that had store cats, and one of my daily chores was taking care of them, too. So I am well versed in dog AND cat care. I am currently working part time with weekends completely freed up, so I can be available in the later afternoons, and evenings, and early mornings. At my own home I have a fenced yard, but if you need me to crate your dog or if you have your own safety preferences I am definitely willing to work with them. About: I’ve worked in an animal shelter and a few animal hospitals, gaining immense knowledge and insight to animal care. I have also owned and cared for dogs for my entire life. I do some remote work for a few hours a week, so I really have complete availability during the week. My weekends are also totally free. I can take your pups out multiple times a day.
