About: Growing up in Port Angeles near the Olympic National Park, I have always had a strong love for animals. I received my Bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology so that I could work towards preserving threatened or endangered species. Through internships, volunteering, work experience, and personal experience, I’ve cared for a variety of species including cats, dogs, amphibians, reptiles, beavers, big cats, and wolf-dogs. I have 1.5 years experience working as a cat caregiver at a no-kill nonprofit animal rescue. During my time as a caregiver, I worked with special needs cats, senior cats, and kittens. I am currently working as a veterinary assistant at a local veterinary clinic. I have worked with dogs and cats with a variety of health conditions and temperaments. I have two cats of my own. I also work as a veterinary assistant full-time where I provide medical care to animals. This includes giving vaccines, drawing blood, trimming nails, providing food and water, and cleaning cages for animals that are staying in the hospital for extended periods of time. I would prefer to conduct a meet and greet with both you and your animal present prior to caring for them in order to establish their trust. I will happily take your dog(s) for 30 minute walks around your neighborhood, and I will pick up after them during walks as well. For in home visits, if I am letting your dog out to potty, I will make sure that it is only within a fenced area that your dog cannot jump, or that your dog is on a leash. I am also a firm advocate for indoor-only cats and I am careful to not let your cats outside when I enter or exit your home. I have experience feeding pets dry food, wet food, prescription diets, and raw food diets, and will be more than happy to keep your pet on their regular meal regiment while you are gone as I understand the importance of an established routine for animals. I have experience with medicating cats such as giving them eye drops, ear drops, pills, liquid oral medications, and subcutaneous injections. Lastly, I’ll make sure that everyone always has fresh water.

About: For many years, I worked on farms, and personally, I’ve had dogs, cats, small mammals, and, although I have never owned one, I do love birds. I attended Bel Rea Vet Tech School on Colorado years ago, but I won’t make false claims. I have practical knowledge and experience mostly. I am available most days 9-5, and am easily contacted and responsive. Professionally, I was a personal trainer, so I am very good at following directions and am personally meticulous. First, my name is Julia. I am not able to yet figure out how to change my profile name properly. So talk about trust, you would want to know my real name. In your home, I prefer very specific instructions. It’s always nice to meet and greet before letting anyone into my home, so I feel best if we meet and greet before you give me free rein to care for your pets in your home.

About: I only learned of Rover about 4-5 months ago when I was searching for help for myself! When I travel and couldn't bring my dog I needed someone to walk and play while the hubby was at work. While I found this support, through the app, I still wasn't finding all the things that would make a TOP NOTCH Pet sitter for us. So here are JUST SOME of the things I bring to the table and was looking for myself... 1. Advance food healing (Someone that is willing and able to MAKE the specialty food my dog was requiring) 2. Pre/post surgery or mobility massage for our furry friends (I have 25+ years humans / 2 animals) 3. Mini Training with every walk. 4. Decluttering, as I am a Professional Organizer and 5. All animals: Reptile, feathered, or furry, two or more legs, you name it. Those are just a few things that set me apart. Yet all thr basics are there as well from newbie to oldie. I do have freedom with my own schedule. Yet I also run a very successful business. I can however, be available sometimes last minute so don't let that fool ya! Always reach out, you never know! Some of my friends and clients say, "If I were to come back as pet, I'd want to be yours!! If that doesn't say it all, I don't know what would?

“My experience with Shane was great: he showed arrived promptly for each appointment and really seemed to enjoy walking my three crazy dogs. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a responsible dog walker, especially with larger animals.”

“Corbin was a great caretaker for my silly young rottie. He took time to get to know my dog before taking him for his first walk, and was very accommodating to my short-notice request. Highly recommend!”

“Becca is amazing with my 2 chocolate chunky Labrador boys! She sends pictures and makes sure they get water and plenty of sniffies on their walks. Becca keeps me updated on how they did on the walk and I feel very comfortable knowing they're with her!”

Veronica B.
“Veronica asked me to write a testimonial regarding her comparability with Rover. Well I have rarely seen someone as loving and awesome with animals especially dogs as Veronica. I have a big 120 pound lab/husky mix and frequently have custody of a Border Collie 40 pounds). We often go camping and Veronica is often the caregiver when I am out surfing. Sometimes Veronica watches my dogs if I need help with my animals. Her love and joy is plainly obvious, I have zero hesitation in warding her the care of my canine loves. You can’t find a better candidate as a Rover walker! I could send you pics if you like. Veronica is a great match for you!”

“Crystal has cared for my pets with such thoughtfulness and ease. Her gentle, calm presence really helps them feel safe...especially the more sensitive ones. She’s incredibly detail-oriented, reliable and consistent; always showing up with the same steady care. I never have to worry when I’m away because I know they’re not just being looked after, they’re being genuinely loved. It’s rare to find someone you can trust so fully with your animals and I always feel safe leaving them in Crystal’s care.”

Joy J.Star Sitter
“Joy is our favorite pet sitter! She has cared for our dog and cats many times and always does an excellent job making sure they are well cared for and get lots of attention. She’s one of the most dependable pet sitters we’ve used and our pets are always glad to see her too! She is professional, quiet, trustworthy and reliable. I would not hesitate to recommend her!”

Tia B.
“Tia is the "dog whisperer"! She and dogs seem to have kindred spirits as they tend to warm up to her faster than to other people. Tia B. has a huge heart for animals, especially dogs, and enjoys their company which seems to resonate with the doggies. She gets to know each dog on a personal level and tailors each dog's needs to them when she trains them or just spends time with them. While there are some people who go gaga over babies, Tia B. goes gaga over puppies; so, it's safe to say that she is definitely a "dog-person" and happily so. To Tia, animals are not pets; rather, they are family members deserving of mutual love and respect, which she pours out abundantly on her own "fur-babies". If you are looking for someone who will treat your beloved doggies and "fur-babies" just like family, then there is no better person than Tia B.”

Rachel S.
“Rachel was the best sitter that I’ve had in years! She and my pup got along so well to the point that Toot, my chihuahua, was still snuggling with her on the couch when we were chatting, after I returned. Toot can be quite a handful but Rachel a did great job with her and followed my instructions perfectly. Don’t hesitate to book her, you’ll be happy that you did!”
