About: Hi! I’m Charlie and I’d be honored to help you with your pet needs. I have fostered 17 dogs, mostly seniors, from mid-size to xl and a whole range of breeds, temperaments and quirks! I understand that each dog has their own unique personality and have become adept at reading dog body language and helping them feel safe and comfortable with me. I have had my beautiful fur buddy (pictured) for 12 glorious years, together we have gone through puppy socialization classes and dog obedience training, (not to mention a transatlantic flight, 3 house moves & 5 deployments). He is a 12yo German shepherd, who has taught me how to be a kind, patient leader and how to work with headstrong, intelligent dogs. In 2022 the universe decided we needed another dog and we ended up with Blitz, a Siberian husky that has had a very hard life, after the family we were fostering him for decided they didn’t want him back and we couldn’t find anyone in the market for a “husky with issues”. Growing up with 2 dogs and 3 cats I am most happy when I can share space with animals. I have previous experience with dog walking and house visits for cats. I would love to meet, become friends with and help out with your fur-friend and will take care of them with diligence, love and joy. I look forward to meeting your family! I am available for dog walking and house calls weekdays, between 9.30-3. Weekends and evening walks and house visits can be arranged on an individual basis. We live on 8 wooded acres, perfect for exercise and olfactory stimulation for your pup. I have two senior pups that are used to sharing their space with other dogs and two respectful children that love dogs whilst also being great at respecting their boundaries (they have experienced all manner of foster dogs with their varied personalities and needs). I can accommodate crating if necessary but as I am home most of the day it is unlikely they will be crated unless you specifically request it. I don’t have a fenced yard, so if your dog is an escape artist then our space may not be best for them, but for most dogs this just means fun stimulating walks, instead of yard time. We do plan to add a fenced area in the future.

About: Pets need love and attention. I can provide that with peace of mind. Peace of mind without breaking the bank too. I know I have been there with my fury babies. We love freedom too and that is why your babies will get to run and play and do their thing in my fenced in back yard. They also will get homemade cooked food if you allow me. That consists of kale, carrots, peas, sweet potatoes, green beans…blueberries and either chicken or beef added w gluten free oats. Your babies will be spoiled and loved. I currently teach full time and mostly telework so your babies will get the love and attention they deserve. They will be let out and fed. I prefer to watch pets in my home for peace of mind especially if you are going out of town. I do occasionally as needed come to walk the dogs if you prefer if you are at work and or feed them too. If stayed overnight and or during the day. The babies get fed and let outside to play and dog walks are often too.

I've had dogs my entire life, and grew up on a farm around all kinds of other animals too. My husband has had similar experiences, as his father was curator at several zoo's from Philadelphia to Seattle. I take the time to understand your preferences and ensure I provide care exactly how you want it. My own fur babies get walked daily and spend a lot of time outdoors, but are also used to staying in and having a chill weekend. I’m responsible, attentive, and detail-oriented, always ensuring your pets needs are handled in whichever way you prefer. I respond promptly to any questions or concerns and maintain open communication throughout. Rest assured, your pet will be treated with the same love and respect you give them, making their time with me both enjoyable and stress-free. I'm available Friday afternoon to Sunday evenings and will pick up and drop off your pet if needed. If your dog can handle being alone for the work day 7am-4pm week I am available to care for your dog during the week as well. I can schedule meet & greets in the afternoons. on most weekdays. I have a fenced in yard, two fur babies for your dog(s) to play with, and a large house for playing in, being crated if necessary or for lounging in our 3 large dog beds. When our queen size bed isn't being used (by humans), I convert it into an extra large dog bed where my pups have plenty of leg room. My husband, Mike, and I, go on walks daily and will visit our neighborhood dog park/beach area if your pooch likes to swim. Mike and I have cared for Miles for the last 11 years, but both have had dogs our entire lives. I have a tub and years of experience bathing large dogs too! Rest assured, when your pets are here, they are the guests of honor.

About: I have had pets for as long as I can remember. I have also been the reliable one who can watch friends and families animals for them when needed! I am currently a stay at home mom so this allows me to have a good amount of availability to help care for your pets! My pets at home, minus our puppy, roam freely as they know where they can and cannot go outside. While inside they know what to chew on and what not to chew on ;-) but my puppy is crated during the day for short periods of time for rest and at night for sleep or if we are not home. I can crate your dogs too if needed. When walking I ensure all animals are on a leash to ensure their safety. When checking in on your animals, I don’t hastily approach them I tend to get on their level and allow them to come to me so they feel safe and comfortable.

About: I have worked at a dog boarding kennel/shelter for over two years where I have gained a huge amount of skills and experience caring for dogs. On a daily basis I walk, feed, medicate, bathe, clean up after, and cuddle with dogs of every size and temperament. Additionally, I've worked at farms and owned quite a few fur-babies of my own so I'm quite comfortable caring for all sorts of animals including cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, rabbits, fish, chickens, parrots, horses, goats, donkeys, and more!
