About: I’ve had dogs since I was in college and I now have a farm with all kinds of different animals! There is nothing better than an animals love other than knowing your loved ones are being taken care of properly. My animals are my family and I will treat yours as my family too. I currently help with rescues on transportation, fostering, and placement. I work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible. I can usually work around my work schedule pretty easily to accommodate a variety of times and needs. I will give all your pets all the love! My pets are allowed on all the furniture as it’s their house too. I have an acreage that provides lost of space for walks and play and I also have a gps fence that can be used if wanted.

About: I am a HUGE animal lover! I grew up on a farm so I’ve been around all types of animals and livestock. I used to work at a veterinary clinic for 3 years, an animal shelter for a year, and now I’m back to livestock. I currently have 4 cats of my own. I have been around and worked with all types and kinds! I will make sure your pet is comfortable and happy at all times! I do have a full time job, but am very flexible when caring for your animals. I am available week days in the afternoons and most weekends. You let me know what is needed and I can make it work with my schedule! I am comfortable with staying in your home if that’s desired! I will give them lots of love and always take care of their needs.

About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals of all kinds—chickens, ponies, cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, lizards—you name it, I’ve probably cared for it! That experience gave me a natural comfort and confidence with animals from a young age, and it taught me how to read their behavior, understand their needs, and treat them with gentleness and respect. I’ve looked after everything from snuggly lap cats to high-energy dogs who need lots of play and exercise. I enjoy taking active dogs to parks and getting them the movement they need, while also knowing how to slow things down for older pets or animals who need extra care. I’ve also cared for pets who were mildly sick or healing, giving them special attention, gentle handling, and keeping a close eye on their needs. What sets me apart is my calm, steady presence and my ability to adjust to each animal’s unique personality. Whether your pet is shy, energetic, affectionate, or a little quirky—I meet them where they’re at and care for them like they’re my own. Right now, I’m in a season of life where I’m home full-time and have plenty of availability to care for pets. I love being around animals, and with my flexible schedule, I can give them the time, attention, and consistency they need throughout the day. If this turns into something steady, I’d love to make pet care my full-time focus! For now, my days are wide open, and I’m excited to spend them keeping your pets happy, safe, and loved. When caring for pets in my home, safety and comfort are my top priorities. For in-home boarding, I’m currently only able to host quiet pets due to both my living situation and the peaceful nature of our neighborhood. This includes animals like cats, hamsters, reptiles, and even spiders like tarantulas — all of which tend to be low-noise and easygoing. I share my home with my spouse, who is a light sleeper and highly sensitive to sound, so it’s important that any pets I host are calm and relatively quiet. While I generally don’t board dogs at this time, I may make exceptions for certain small, quiet breeds — such as older Shih Tzus — who are known for their gentle, quiet temperament and cuddly nature. Please note that other small breeds like dachshunds or beagles, which tend to be more vocal, unfortunately wouldn’t be a good fit for our environment. Of course, I understand that every animal has its own personality, so if you believe your pet is especially calm, feel free to reach out and we can discuss! I live near a walking path that’s perfect for regular walks and potty breaks. I’m happy to provide exercise and fresh air as part of their daily routine. I always follow the pet’s normal routine as much as possible, and I’ll communicate closely with you to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for in my home or yours.

About: I am a registered veterinary technician that works at a clinic here in Ames. I have a lot of experience with dogs, large and small, and cats as well. You can feel safe knowing that your fur babies are well taken care of and under great care. I currently work full-time as a registered veterinary technician, but I’m looking to help out with pet care, walking, or housesitting on weeknights and weekends. With my medical Knowledge, I am a great candidate to take care of any fur baby. While in my care, pets will be monitored closely and given everything they need, as well as endless snuggles. I am a college student and work, but I’m willing to work around my schedule to meet your needs! Weekends are almost always completely open! I do not do any services inside my home but I am willing to come to yours, where your pet is most comfortable and happy!

About: I have been pet-sitting for a little over a year. I check water, food, and keep company to cats and dogs. I also have experience watching/walking puppies as young as 6 weeks. I am currently in school and have a part-time job. I am available for walking, house-sitting, drop-in visits, and boarding every Weekday and Sundays. I can do mornings, and afternoons. I have a half-acre yard that is readily accessible for your companion animals to run around in. I also have a large dog crate available. She was able to control both my young german shepherd and my great pyrenees on a walk without issue. She even asked if she could bring treats for them that she bought herself. She made sure to put everything back where she found it and made sure that my black german shepherd didn't get too hot on his walk. I will definitely book with her again!!”

I have previous experience being a dog mom for 15 years, as well as various other animals. I currently have one cat in my home who does well with other animals. About: I will bath, brush, feed, play with, and give lots of love to your dog(s) while they are in my care. My rates are super low. Simply, I'm an animal lover to the core and will give your dog(s) the best care that they deserve! I have other dogs that your furbabies can play with! Daily walks. Weekly baths or as needed. Dogs will be fed separately and will have constant supervision while in my care. I have lots of time on my hands. I will ensure dogs are fed separately and if medication is needed to be given that it is done properly. I will also ensure that your dog eats and drinks plenty.

About: I have had many different pets of my own during my lifetime; all of different shapes, sizes and breeds! I have had close family and friends who call me for any dog sitting or care taking services. I am a teacher with a lot of availability during the summer so I can most likely cover any hours you need.
