About: I grew up with dogs and now own 4 of my own. I have volunteered at a local shelter to walk and play with their dogs. And I’m in the process of becoming a professional dog trainer. I have raised 3 puppies so I am able to potty train and do basic obedience I am currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to walk and play with your dog(s). I am also available for drop-ins to take your dog(s) out during the day if needed I have a large fenced in yard and live on 5 acres. I have access to state and farm lands close by with a lot of nature trails that is great for any reactive dogs. I also have a lot of back roads that aren’t busy with traffic if that’s more of your dog(s) preference

About: Calm, relaxing, loving home for your pet! I work from home so am here almost all day and night. Safe and cared for while you’re gone. I have a huge fenced in yard, and additional acres to walk your dog leashed if you’d like me too. It’s quiet here. Your pet will be comfortable in his own space near me. We have no cats living here at this time but they are always welcomed! I will follow whatever walking, and eating instructions that you set for your pet, to keep their schedules as normal as possible to help relieve the stress of being away. Our home is their home! I’m fully insured and able to handle any needs your pet has! I was a certified medical assistant and phlebotomist (blood draws) so healthcare is in my background also. I am self employed and will be home with your pet. Your pet will be well supervised and treated as a part of the family. My home is private, quiet and safe. It is large and has a nice big fenced yard that I will walk your pet in. I will walk your dog every 2 hours and will not let your pet go outside without me. I have two dogs, Latte, a 40lb retriever mix that was a rescue, and is very sweet, but timid around people she doesn’t know, and Gracie Mae, Golden Retriever, that is 6 months old, 50 lbs, and learning to be a gentle not wild sister to Latte! I always safely separate dogs from different families.

About: I’ve taken care of everything from small cats to wolf dogs. I will be able to take care of your pets, they will be happy with me. I typically only work in the early morning at my regular job so I will have plenty of time for your furry babies. I can either stay with them or do check ins a few times per day. I care for your pets by going by whatever schedule or rules you set out. No matter what, I will do my best to make sure they are happy and safe.

“Mariana is a fabulous dog sitter! My senior dog has many issues that I am concerned about which makes me very hesitant to leave him alone for any extended period of time. I have always used dog sitters that I already knew well and vetted extensively. For this recent trip, my regular sitters were booked up and I turned to Rover. Using their settings re: location and sitter areas of comfort, as well as reviews, I was directed to Mariana. Despite her many 5-star reviews, I was anxious. I spoke to her extensively on the phone and via text. From our very first texting conversations, I could tell that she was extremely kind and empathetic. She asked all the right questions regarding my dog's medical care, temperament and unique issues. She has a great deal of knowledge regarding behavioral and medical care of animals and dogs in particular. She studies animal health and behavioral issues as well. I wanted to make sure that she and my dog were a good fit so we set up a meet and greet. Everything I had sensed from our conversations was accurate. She was very kind and gentle upon meeting my dog, who is typically anxious with strangers. He took to her right away, sidling up to her and giving her his special mini-howl of approval. That was truly unusual for my dog, it usually takes him much longer to offer up that particular greeting. I went on my trip feeling a little bit better. I had given Mariana millions of specific instructions in advance and tried to set up the stay so it would be easy for her. I was still worried, to be honest. Nevertheless, as Mariana sent me photos and videos, I could see that my dog was happy and thriving. Despite my having spotty cell phone service, we were able to communicate very effectively and resolved any questions or concerns without difficulty. Mariana was very responsive throughout. When I returned home, my dog was healthy and content, my house was neat and tidy and I was very thrilled to have found a person like Mariana, whom I could trust to keep my dog happy and healthy. I would have no reservations in recommending Mariana 100%. This was my first experience using the Rover app to find a pet sitter and I was surprised at how well it worked out.”
