“Was searching for a walker very last minute and I could not have been luckier to have been able to get Jake to care for my dog! I felt so secure and comfortable with him in his care and he was so responsive and kind, and I will surely be looking him up well in advance of my next trip so I have a good chance of being able to have him walk my little guy again! Thank you so very much, Jake!!!”

About: I have been told that I am very patient when it comes to pets. I let them come to me and if they don’t want to I don’t force them. I am very careful to make sure the pets are happy and can get to know and love any pet. My life can fluctuate from busy to free depending on the time of year, but I always make time for my pets. It makes me happy to see them and take care of them on a daily and weekly basis. To care for pets, I make sure that they are ok and give them food and water first. Then I give them all the attention they need and make sure they are happy. I don’t just check in and leave, I like to spend time with them so they aren’t lonely.

About: Hi there! I’m a stay-at-home dog mom with over 3+ years of hands-on professional experience in animal care, 10+ years of personal experience and a heart full of love for every pet I meet. Since my husband takes care of our household financially, I’m incredibly lucky to do this purely out of passion, not necessity. That means your pet isn’t just another booking to me—they become part of my daily life and routine, and I treat them like family. What sets me apart from other sitters? I’m home all day, so your furry friend gets constant love, attention, and care. I don’t overbook, and I always prioritize quality time, play, and personalized care based on your pet’s unique needs. Whether it’s cuddles on the couch, long walks, or keeping up with feeding routines and medications, I’m here to give your pet the comfort and consistency they deserve. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and I don’t take that lightly. You can count on me to send regular updates, adorable photos, and give your pet a loving home-away-from-home while you're away. Pet care is my routine! I spend most of my day with animals—whether it’s my own pup or the pets I’m caring for. My availability is very, very open so please don't be afraid to reach out! I’m home full-time, which means your pet will get plenty of attention, playtime, and love throughout the day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to keep everything as stress-free and familiar as possible for your furry friend. I stick closely to your routine—meals, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special care instructions you leave. I want your pet to feel safe, secure, and comfortable in their own space while you're away. I treat your home with the utmost respect and care. I keep things clean, tidy, and organized, and I always double-check doors, gates, and food storage to ensure your pet stays safe. Whether it’s watering a few plants, bringing in the mail, or keeping your pet company during the day or overnight, I’m happy to help however I can.

About: I’ve been caring for animals of all kinds since I was 8 years old—everything from energetic dogs to independent (or extra-needy!) cats. Having grown up with pets my whole life, I truly see them as family. Whether your pet needs long walks, playtime, or just a comforting presence while you’re away, I’ll be there with patience, love, and reliability. Their happiness, comfort, and safety are always my top priority. While I currently work full time, I’m available most weekends for your quick getaways, as well as weekday evenings to care for your fur babies. Whether it’s a weekend stay or a drop-in visit after work, I’m here to help give you peace of mind while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping your pets comfortable and your home respected. I follow your instructions closely, whether it’s feeding schedules, walk routines, medication, or playtime—so your pet’s day feels as normal and stress-free as possible. I make sure they feel loved, safe, and well cared for in their familiar environment. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.

About: I’ve had different types of dogs since I was young. I’ve trained dogs for all types of reasons. I’m a lover of all pups and can handle your dogs needs. I own a large property specifically for the environment, which is perfect for dogs. I look forward to meeting your doggie and returning a happy pup back to you. Please message for any details. I’m available on weekends and weeknights. I work full time M-F, so weekends are primarily open. While I can do many activities during the work week, I am gone about 8 hours for my primary job. Weeknights and weekends are available. I have a large property with plenty of room to roam. Chickens in the yard (in coop). I have a 6 year old pup of my own that is very docile, loves other animals and gets along with them easily, and is my number two. I don’t have a fence because my dog is perimeter trained. However, I can perimeter train your dog too or walk them on a leash if that is preferred. I plan to add a fence soon and will update this once I do.

About: I've been a dog owner for over 20 years and was a foster parent for a San Diego based rescue group for over 3. I currently volunteer as a dog walker at a local Southern Maryland rescue and also foster with them as well. Our family has cared for, trained and assisted with the adoption of many different breeds from small to large and all ages, puppies less than 12 weeks included. In addition we puppy raise and train service dogs for a non-profit organization based out of NY. Pets bring so much love and joy to our lives and deserve the best care when we are away. I can promise they will receive the same love and attention as if you were home yourself. Current pet is a 13 year old yellow lab and pointer mix that we've had since he was 12 weeks old. He loves long walks, swimming in any body of water and snuggling with his cat brother, Tucker. In addition we have a 2 year old beagle that nothing but fun. References are available upon request. I work remotely and am home during the day. This allows me flexibility to care my own fur-children and yours from either my home or yours. I have a large fenced yard, friendly pups, a dog room and plenty of crates. We often crate and rotate to make sure our pups get enough one on one and would do the same for yours.

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life, so I have a lot of experience taking care of them. We are huge dog lovers in my house, so no dog is too big or too small. I volunteered at the Humane Society for about two years in high school. I would visit on Tuesdays and Thursdays to help clean the kennels, walk dogs, wash dogs, have play time with them in the office, as well as participate in adoption events. Lastly, I do have experience pet-sitting for multiple families and have two dogs of my own. I would love to be able to watch over your furry friends or take them on walks whenever needed, so that’s why I provide such a flexible schedule! I graduated from the University of Tennessee in May and now work from home running my marketing business, Lawson Marketing. I have plenty of time throughout the day to stop by for visits or to take dogs on walks, especially since I have a puppy of my own that needs to go out frequently. My services include drop-in visits as well as dog walking. I want to cater to each family's and their pet’s unique needs, so I strive to provide special care for each and every dog. I will prioritize their well-being by following any routines as well as adhering to any special needs. Another big factor that I will prioritize is communication. I want every family to know that their fur babies are in great hands!

“Jalisa was very helpful with my dog. I was in town for work and she walked my dog each day and made sure she had something to drink at the end of the walk. She provided pictures and updates throughout their time together. She was willing to meet me on the day that I arrived in town so my dog would be familiar with her on the next day when she would have to get her without me being home. She was accommodating although it was a last minute booking. I would definitely use her again.”

I cannot have other cats over for catsitting as I have roommates with other pets in the house.

Joey W.
“Joey has cared for my dog (yellow lab) for 4 years and is absolutely the most caring, observant and responsible dog care provider. I hired him to provide daily walking and playtime for my dog. He exceeded my expectations and my dog loves him! He used a code to get into my house while I was at work and nothing was ever amiss or missing. He communicated via text if my dog was acting differently than usual. I couldn't have been more satisfied and appreciative of his services. I hope you will enjoy the same thoughtful and caring approach to his services for your dog. I am confident that you will not be disappointed!”

Maria P.
“Maria is the best pet caretaker I have ever met. She is incredibly knowledgeable about breeds, temperament, and special needs. Seeing as she is trained in CPR and safety, I would trust her to take care of my pet any day. She is always respectful to my home and my dog always loves seeing her!”

Colleen L.
“I have known Colleen for many years now. Of everyone I do know and am close with, she is easily one of the most loving and caring people. This quality extends into her love and care for animals as well. Her pets have always been an absolute priority in her life. Those animals have a great life in her home. She is great with other peoples pets as well and is always excited to see another dog. And those dogs, are always just as excited to see her as well. It's almost like there is something different about her that they can immediately see, recognize, and love. When she came to my house and met my german shepherd for the first time, they immediately became best friends. My shepherd acted like he has always known her. Not only does Colleen love animals. But animals appear to love Colleen. She is great with all of them in every shape, size, breed, and species. I know of no other person who is more responsible and loving pet caregiver and friend.”

Breanna T.

“Bre has a pleasant personality. My dogs immediately took to her during the meet and greet. She came and communicated as anticipated. We had a positive experience”

Seth G.
“I have known Seth for nearly 6 years and in that time I have seen what an incredible pet caregiver he is. He adores and takes such good care of his own dog, Ziggy (the sweetest boxer in the world), as well as a flock of lovely chickens who also adore him to the point of wanting to come into his house! I’ve seen him interact with and take amazing care of other animals too, including cats and ducks. Seth has such a warm personality and you can tell he truly cares for and loves animals. I would absolutely trust him to care for my own pets. He’ll go above and beyond to make sure your pet is cared for, not only covering the basics (feeding, watering, bathroom time, etc.), but also providing love, affection, and play. I highly recommend Seth to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

Amanda S.
“I chose Amanda to take care of my 2 dogs, a Great Dane and a lab mix in her home for a couple days when I went out of town. I made a great choice because she made it as easy as possible to be away by sending me updates often and pictures. I felt at ease that they were being taken care of how I would care for them. I would recommend her and would definitely use her services again. A+”

Faith M.Star Sitter

“Faith was on time, communicated well, and our dog came home tired.”
