“Azure was phenomenal and made the care and safety of our pup a priority! He was well taken care of, got to play with other pups, and she ensured that he was safe. We would 100% recommend time and time again!”

“Tara’s home was a large environment with plenty of backyard conducive to dog boarding. Her children took to our pups lovingly and playfully. We left them feeling comfortable about their care. Our return flight from San Diego was delayed 2+ hrs due to Extreme Heat; this made it literally impossible to make our connection home & meant an extra day before finally got home. Tara adjusted to that no problem, adding another night’s charges while we waited for them to get home from their son’s ballgame. We recvd one photo from Tara while gone and a couple brief “they are doing fine” without details we would like to have heard more. We gave her a full additional day’s charges in cash as a tip when we picked our pups up. We can recommend her to others and would utilize her again as needed.”

“This was our 4th time using Kristen and I would give her 10 stars if I could. Our dogs love her big back yard that they can run around in, and our cat (a former cat and our current cat) love her sunroom. We were gone for 2 weeks, and I never once worried about my furry kids. She sends updates to let you know how they are doing, and also sends pictures. She treats your pets as if they were her own. Highly recommend.”

“Mar Mar was amazing! I was out of town for 10 days for a business trip and they took amazing care of my cat George. I was worried about leaving him while I left but Mar Mar did such a fantastic job of giving me updates and pictures of my baby to help put my mind at ease. I highly recommend anyone that needs to have their pet looked after come to Mar Mar. Extremely knowledgeable, kind, and an obvious love for animals. Thank you so much Mar Mar!”

“This was the first time I used Rover, Alicia was great! I went on vacation and had to leave my senior Lab mix Sugiebear behind for the first time. She is 12 yrs old and has some health issues. Alicia's home is very neat and was accommodating to my Sugiebear 's needs. Alicia took great care of her and sent me pics and updates everyday. I also had car trouble coming home which caused me to be late picking Sugiebear up, Alicia was very understanding. I will definitely be using Alicia again and I will be recommending her to everyone I know. Many thanks”

“Violet always has the best time when she goes to Agnathas home! She comes back exhausted, from all the play time she gets in while there! Agnatha loves to spoil Violet as well, she snuggles her and lets her on the sofa! I was worried Violet wouldn’t want to come back home with us. It is a nice relief knowing our pup is getting the best care while we are away!”

“Alexander & Jaycee were absolutely incredible and took phenomenal care of my dog. They have a lovely home and perfect yard for exactly what my dog needs / is used to. And my dog actually became friends with their dogs (shout out to Stormy)! I would highly encourage anyone looking to let them take care of your pup! I’ll certainly be a repeat customer 😊.”
“So thankful for all the updates and pictures! It was my first time leaving Louie somewhere and Amara made me more relaxed knowing he was having a good time ☺️”

“Our dog Harley does not like change. She spent 3 days at Carter and Mindy's home. They did everything they could to make her feel comfortable! Thank you so much for going that extra mile!”

“We are so happy to have found Eddie. Leaving our girl behind while we were on vacation was difficult. Within the first day we felt so relieved Eddie sent a photo of Brooklyn sitting in a familiar way and we quickly believed she was totally comfortable. What a great feeling!! We found our go-to guy and as a result will be traveling more often sans Brooklyn. Thanks Eddie”

“Evan and her family did a wonderful job with Otto! We had no worries at all with him in her care. We appreciated the frequent updates with how he was doing and all of the fun exercise and activities he was taking part in. We will definitely be using Evan for future trips!”

“Isabelle and Casey were amazing in taking care of Koji and Misty! They sent us lots of photos and kept us updated on everything they were doing. They even checked with us before leaving the dogs alone for a quick errand, which we really appreciated. They also have a sweet dog named Pepper, and Koji became friends with him right away. On top of that, they have a beautiful home with big backyard with plenty of space for the fur babies to roam around, play, and feel comfortable. Thank you so much, Izzy and Casey, for taking such wonderful care of Koji and Misty. We truly appreciate everything you did and wouldn't hesitate to book with you again!”

“Nancy and her husband have been by far the best dog sitters I have come across on this app. They are so sweet and accommodating. They took my pug in and treated her like one of their own. During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
