“Rachel was amazing with our old pup! She let us know how he did during the day, when he ate, and anything to follow up on when we returned. She was thoughtful and adapted to his quirks. Our house was well taken care of and we felt all was safe and sound while gone. She is truly caring and understanding with senior dogs.”

“I am so thankful to have found Caitlin. I had a last minute issue with my previously arranged pet sitter and turned to Rover hoping for the best. With less than 48 hours turnaround from contract to start of my extended vacation she was able to accommodate a meet and greet and was more than willing to take on my entire menagerie, even making herself comfortable with a rat and a bearded dragon! She was great at following the extensive directions I left and she communicated with me on the regular, sending me pics of my happy, happy crew. I’ll definitely be using Caitlin again, if I can ever afford another vacation after the last one!”

“Marissa took great care of our three babies (🐶🐶🐶) and our home while we were away. Our place looked great when we got back, and our girls were well cared for. Marissa also communicated with us and let us know when she arrived, left, etc. We had an all around great experience and hope to work with Marissa again!”

About: I’ve owned and taken care of animals my entire life that include a wide variety of medical needs to reactivity from puppies to seniors. Willing to provide the best care to your fur baby with daily photo updates. I am currently back in school and work remotely so I’ll be able to be as hands on with your pet as needed throughout the day I will follow all instructions and comfortable administrating medications from injections to pills. I also have experience with reactive large breed dogs as well as high energy working dogs. You can expect a a daily update with pictures.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and sizes - I grew up with Labs and took on dog sitting when I was 18. Now 22, I have 2 dogs of my own and care for them like they’re my children. I have experience with dogs from Labs to Corgis to Huskys - I also have experience in training my own dogs with a local program, so I am well versed in being a responsible care taker. I work from home! A lot of what I do on a daily basis can be done through my phone and my schedule is very flexible. In our home, we love to keep our dogs active and socialize them. We take them on short trips to Hocking Hills, play in the backyard and go on walks to the local park. In a client’s home, I am always considering the dog’s typical routine to keep them happy while their owners are away.

“Justin was amazing! I’m so grateful he took such great care of my baby Nittany. She’s on multiple seizure medications, so I needed someone truly reliable to give them on time, and Justin absolutely delivered. He even kept a close eye on her sneaky ways of trying to avoid them (not surprised, lol)! I would 100% book with Justin again and recommend him to everyone on this app. Thank you, Justin!”

“Katie is awesome! We have not used Rover before and had a very pleasant experience with her house sitting for two days. Katie came over for a meet and greet beforehand and also to pick up keys to review instructions. Katie was very patient with our senior great dane, Iris, that has some special needs. She sent us photos of our pets during her stay at our house and kept us updated. We will definitely use Katie again.”

About: I helped raise the family dog (5 pound Maltese) and took care of her throughout her puppy years and senior years. I helped potty train her and taught her basic tricks (such as how to sit). I groomed her, took her on walks, and would carry her when walking became too tiring for her. I also administered medication during her senior years. I have watched over the pets of family friends and neighbors. Some of these instances include: a household of 1 medium sized dog, 1 cat, and 1 turtle; a senior medium sized poodle that was partially deaf and blind; a large boxer; a household of 2 cats. I have experience with cat and dog care. For cat care I have experience with nail trimming and litter box cleaning as well as medication administration. I am a student and will be doing the majority of my work online until I get admission into a Master's program. I am currently available all times and days to spend the majority of my time with the pets :) My favorite part about pet sitting is having a companion to keep you company while you study, and the ability to get short little breaks for play time/walks in between school work. My schedule may be different when my program starts in the Fall of 2026. I only offer care for pets in my client's home. I am willing to house sit alongside pet sitting (and will take care of any additional housework that you need to be done-such as watering/weeding plants, cleaning, bringing in mail). I love cuddling with the pets I take care of and have no problem with sleeping with them to prevent them from getting anxious at night. I will make sure to walk pets everyday, follow dietary restrictions, and follow any specific routines. I would be happy to help with training as well. When I am pet sitting I often send photos to the owners to let them know how everything is going at home :)

“Solana was great! I was anxious about leaving my nervous pup while I went out of town for a work meeting. Solana was patient and just let her lay in the same spot all day. Solana messaged me to let me know she was doing fine after I left.”

“Rebecca did a wonderful job and I would definitely recommend her as a sitter! She was flexible with my last minute changes and gave updates and pics. This helped my anxiety as my pup wasn’t feeling well when I left, so the reassurance was much appreciated!”

“Abigail was an outstanding sitter! She was very conscientious and provided many regular updates. She walked my dogs and played with them! They had a great time! Abigail sent many pictures. A very responsible person! Highly recommend!!!”

About: Growing up on a farm means I have an abundance of experience with animals of all shapes and sizes. This experience has only grown thanks to the 1000+ hours spent caring for a great variety of animals thanks to my preparation for and training in veterinary school. I have worked in several veterinary clinics, a couple of shelter settings, and a commercial aviary. This means I am incredibly comfortable caring for all kinds of pets of any age, as well administering medications and keeping up with unique needs. Much of my love for veterinary medicine comes from the opportunity to bond with people and their pets, and providing pet care is another amazing chance to do just that. I would love to serve you and your four-legged family! Being a student allows for a very flexible schedule, perfect for attentive and personalized pet care! Much of my course work can be done online, so I am often free to hang out with your furry friends while I study throughout the day. I try to build my schedule where I don't need to leave pets alone longer than 6 hours maximum, and I am willing to adjust according to your pet's needs. I take great care to keep your pet's routine as similar as possible to their normal to minimize stress. I love to schedule a meet & greet beforehand to get to know you and your pet, and get to know all the details of their routine. I know what questions to ask to make the process as enjoyable and stress free as possible. I also know how nice it is to come back to a clean home. Therefore, when staying in a client's home I take great care to leave everything exactly as it was or better. That way you can relax knowing your pets are well taken care of, and you have nothing to worry about when you return.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats since I was a child. I have helped my girlfriend train our current dog which is a bernedoodle. He knows how to sit, shake, go to his pillow, and he is currently learning to roll over. I currently have a Doberman at my parents house that I help take care of while I am home. I am currently a dental student at Ohio state and I am in school from 7:30-4:00 daily but the weekends I am free. Some days I will finish before 4:00 but that depends on the week. I feed and water my current dogs and cats every morning and every evening. They get treats throughout the day when they exhibit good behavior and listening skills so they know that is a positive thing to keep doing it.

“April was very helpful and flexible for last minute trip planning. She was also very patient and understanding when I had some miscommunication and then some health issues. I can't thank her enough. Most importantly, she was very attentive to the fur babies and they seemed to like her a lot.”

“Katarinna provided us with excellent service. She is very conscientious keeping us fully informed during her stay with our dog. She was most attentive to our dog’s needs as he is a high energy dog and requires a significant amount of interaction.”

Maggie A.Star Sitter

“We are always happy when Maggie and Willow are available to stay with Gemma! We are comfortable leaving her, and know she is getting great care and cuddles:)”

Kaela w.
“Kaela watched two of my Dobies over several years and was amazing with them. They loved seeing her come and would get so excited to see her. One Dobie was a big baby and she catered to his every need for cuddles and affection. The other was a rescue and had a couple personality quirks that she was able to work around with zero issues. Both had health issues in later life that she was able to successfully work with (medicine, food prep, limited mobility, careful attention to change in breathing etc). She can manage walking large dogs with ease. They absolutely loved her and I am grateful for her services. She is amazing and I will use her again when I get to the point where I can get another animal (both are no longer here).”

Alexandra P.
“Alex watched my dogs while we went on a trip last summer! I have 2 golden retrievers and she kept me continually updated on how the dogs were doing, as they can be quite the little rascals. Alex made sure to play with them each day, and she spent plenty of time with them to make sure they didn't get lonely. The best part was that she sent lots of pictures of Aidan and Gracie (my dogs) throughout the week! Of note is the fact that Gracie can get anxious and panic when there are loud noises such as thunderstorms. I felt completely comfortable leaving her with Alex because I knew that she would be able to calm Gracie down and spend time with her when she was feeling panicked. My family has asked Alex to watch our dogs every trip since last summer!”

Noah H.
“Noah did a fantastic job watching Wilson. He was very communicative and sent lots of photos and updates. He left my home spotless too. Cannot thank him enough!”
