About: We lost our last little guy in February 2024. It’s the first time in 35+ years without at least one dog under the same roof, and it’s felt like something essential is missing. I have such a love for dogs, and would love to pass that on to yours while you have to be away from them. That’s my main reason for being a Rover Sitter. I’m semi-retired and work from home, so your dog(s) will get my full attention. Your dog(s) will get care, love, playtime and exercise. Outside, they'll be supervised, whether they’re just roaming, playing or doing their business. I myself love to walk, and welcome having your dog as my walking buddy. Inside, they'll get a lot of attention and affection whether playing ball, or just chilling out. If you've got a senior, I am very experienced in that care, whether simple TLC, boosts when standing, meds, multiple bathroom breaks, etc. Our dogs were allowed on the furniture, and slept on the bed with us; I respect and will follow your rules for that, though. For those who like to sleep in their own "den," I have a lot of experience with crate training also. I'm happy to do a meet-and-greet before the first visit to make sure everybody's comfortable -- both canine and human. Photos and updates are happily available while you're away. I work from home, and have a very flexible schedule throughout the day. I can sit with your dog(s) any day of the week and/or weekend. About: I used to have a chihuahua and a pit bull so I have experience with dogs big and small. I believe it is essential to cater to each dogs personality! I am waiting for school to start so at the moment I am very open for drop ins! I can do early morning or even late nights! I place play as a very high need for dogs and cats to increase their wellbeing. I will also ensure the food and water bowls are cleaned each day I drop in.

About: I’ve been a life-long animal lover and pet caretaker for my own furry family members and others as well. I’ve cared for small cats and dogs up to 100+ pound doggos. If your pet needs to be picked up or carried that’s no issue for me! I own and operate a business that allows me a lot of flexibility and free time so I can care for my pets and yours almost any time. My 3 dogs are my family. We share living spaces, eating spaces and napping spaces! I love sharing car rides with them and taking them on walks with the family.

About: I've never not had pets in my life. I've had one dog - a jack russel terrier who lived to be an old man of 16. I used to volunteer at PAWS Animal Shelter as a dog walker, so I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages. I love getting to know a new dog and seeing their distinct personalities shine through. I'm currently working Tues-Sat 3-10pm, so I am available for morning or late night check-ins and Sunday/Monday day long care. I can be pretty flexible, so feel free to reach out and see if we can work something out that works for you. I cannot currently take pets into my home, but I am comfortable following whatever routine your pet is used to. The more details you can leave me, the better. I want my care to be as seamless and stress-free for your pet as possible.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a few years now. I understand your dogs are your babies so taking care of them and modifying to their needs is one of my biggest priorities! I have a lot of free time to take care of your fur babies! The summer weather is perfect for walks! My schedule is very flexible, I would love to plan some meet & greets in order to meet you and your animals! In my home, your dogs would be like a part of my everyday routine. I would prefer to care for them in their own environment of course!

Upon her returning house key, our big gray Tabby jumped off my lap and ran to the front door and blocked Sydney from leaving. Had to lead her out of garage to get to her car. About: Grew up in Florida around a lot of wildlife. Owned dogs, cats, ferrets, snakes fish etc. I love and respect all animals. I can sit in your home or mine. I didn't have fenced yard but acres of private land and can take out in leash. Available 24/7 if needed. I have 4 year old Italian Greyhound retired service dog who gets along with everyone and everything... No worries there. Please make sure your pet is NOT AGGRESSIVE. I am retired therefore my schedule is very flexible. I can stay during the day, night or even overnight if I am needed at that location. I live in condo and cannot board animals. I am willing to stay in clients homes with or without my dog being with me there

About: I’ve had dogs in my family home since the time I was born. Growing up, my neighbors would give me $5 a day to watch their dogs while they were at work or out of town. When I was a vet tech, I had a lot of clients that I would pet sit for when they would travel, sometimes for months at a time. I have two dogs of my own and one cat. I was a veterinary technician for 4 years, so I have a lot of experience in the medical field with animals as well. I also provide mobile nail trimming/bathing, etc. if you’re interested! I work a full time job. However, I am able to stay over night if you’re needing to go out of town for any reason. I’m super flexible with my schedule and have the ability to help with your needs. I have two good dogs that can keep your fur baby entertained. I also have a three old that’s good with animals. Please let me know if there’s anything special that needs to be done for your pet while they stay with me and my family if you choose to board with me. However, I am completely open and happy to stay at your house with your babies.

About: Ever since my family got a collie as a pet when I was a kid, I have been in love with dogs. That has only enhanced as I’ve grown older and cared for my own. I am currently working remotely from home with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to care for and love on your pets. Prior to walking your pets or stopping by for feedings or playtime, I would like to meet you and your pets first, if possible. That way we can make sure we all feel comfortable! It will also give us a chance to talk through instructions and expectations. I know this isn't always feasible and that's ok.

About: I have professional experience caring for dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments as a kennel care attendant. I'm also working towards my bachelor's degree in wildlife rehabilitation! I've owned all kinds of pets growing up from dogs and cats to mice, bunnies, birds, fish, and even a snake and a frog. I will treat your pets the same as my own, with respect and complete adoration. I'll even send you pictures of your pets during each visit for when you're missing your babies. I'm currently working towards a bachelor's of science degree, so I'll be pretty busy in the morning on weekdays (when in Banner elk, nc). My schedule usually calms down after 12pm, except Teusdays which are very busy. Please feel free to message me about what you're looking for and we can see if things will work out. I will not be able to stay at your house 24/7 due to my schedule. I will also have to go home for school breaks (winter/summer/spring). When I am at home (Newport News, VA), I will be available 24/7. Just message me and I'll let you know if my location has changed or will be changing before the date you need. But I will be doing my best to change my location on here in a timely manner. I'm a big advocate for playtime. I won't just stand around your house during the scheduled visits and let your dog be bored. We'll play with toys and run around and if you have a fenced in yard you can be sure I'll be out there throwing a tennis ball or playing tug of war with your pup until they're exhausted. I'll make sure our walks leave your dog well excersized and ready to nap for hours after we get home.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 15, with family and friends depending on me to provide quality care to their pets. I am familiar with hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, lizards, cats and dogs. I work full time, but I am able to provide potty breaks for my lunch hour. I am fully available on weekends! I am always welcome to discussing a more detailed schedule that meets your needs, as well as your future babies. I have a fenced in yard with fresh water hook up and a large dog house, with a tree that provides shade. I have three amazing dogs that are very animal friendly, especially with our cats. Our dogs are crate trained, so if your pet needs crated for any reason, I can also provide that as well.
