About: I have experience working with all kinds of dogs: big dogs, small dogs, old dogs, young dogs, sick dogs, and dogs with behavioral issues. I also have experience caring for cats, reptiles, and fish. I’m detail oriented, patient, and am always aware of my surroundings to ensure both my and your pets safety. I have experience with dogs that need special attention or extra care including those with behavioral issues like anxiety, fear, or reactivity. I have 3 Australian shepherds that keep me on my toes and 3 cats! I routinely take the dogs for a walk or hike while the cats nap around the house. Right now, I am available most days and times to check in on a pet or take them for a walk. Almost anyone with an Australian shepherd will tell you that they can be quite particular and high energy—I know that mine are! I’ve taken several classes to learn about safety during walks, how to recognize cues before a reactive incident, and how to control a dog if they get out of control. I will always check in with you before taking your pet somewhere and be sure to follow any directions you give me.

I can also help you with any obedience or maybe you want to teach your dog a new trick well i can help. About: I have worked in many areas in the animal industry, from a Humane Society to a horse farm. I wanted to become a veterinarian, so I had to gain experience in many different areas. I have many years of experience with livestock. I am a stay-at-home mom, I have plenty of time to come spoil your pet(s)! Being a SAHM allows me to have a very flexible schedule. I strive to keep the routine very similar to what the pets are used to. I currently come to the pets home to care for them.

About: I am pet boarding certified. Can show proof! I’ve been taking care of dogs and other pets for as long as I can remember! I currently have 4 dogs of my own! Experience with dog training, emergency situations and have vet experience! I currently work at feeders supply and we do boarding/daycare there. So when your kiddos are with me they can come to work with me as well so they are never alone! It is an additional price for them to come to work with me! That is an extra service i provide! About: I've taken care of many animal types throughout my life, growing up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses and cattle. I love a good walk at the park with my dogs! Any animal interaction fills my cup! Animal care will be my part time job for my summer off of college! I will be available weekdays Monday-Thursday from 6am to 8pm. I love getting to know pets personalities and enjoying quality time with them for excercise and care. I have a fenced in back yard with plenty of room for dogs to play, as well as knowledgeable experience of keeping pets safe at home and outdoors.

About: I've been an animal lover and owner all my life (dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, horses, goats, pot-belly pigs, etc.) until a few years ago when I lost my last dog. I decided then that I wasn't going to get a new dog or cat, at least for now, and only love on others' pets. I've been pet and housesitting for the last five+ years, am extremely responsible, and have excellent local references. I'm a freelance book editor and formatter working from home (I also build websites), have a flexible schedule, and am able to work from anywhere with good wifi signal that I can have access to. I also work a part-time job in Oldham County that I go to several times a week so pets must be able to stay alone at least 7 hours at a time. Because I primarily work from wherever I'm staying, I cannot stay with high-maintenance pets who require a high amount of attention. I am living in the east end of Louisville (Prospect) area and would love to help you with your pet needs! Non-smoking homes only please! Rates for house and pet sitting are for a 24 hour period, so anything beyond that will be an additional $15.00/hour (or a full-day rate, whichever is less - NOT the extended care rates just added by Rover that they will not let me remove). Please let me know if you have any questions! Since I work a part-time job, the pets must be able to stay at home for at least 7 hours at a time. Other days I work from wherever I'm staying. Each pet and family have various needs so I will discuss particulars with you before the stay to make sure it's a good fit for everyone.

About: Our family currently has 8 pets ( 2 dogs, 4 cats, and 1 rabbits.) Inside our family unit pets are a responsibility of love we all take on. This has allowed my children to see the deeper side of what it takes to love an animal. Slowly gaining trust with each pet has become second nature to us. I Grew up my whole life with animals, but personally started caring for pets myself at 16 starting with a ferret. We have walked the road of behavioral issues to old aged pets as well. This year I started pet sitting and decided to continue that journey. Thanks for considering our family to care for your family while you're away. We are a homeschool family which allows our time to be extremely flexible. While we are busy, we are also the only ones dictating our time. So we manage time well and around the families we are helping. Obviously during summer school is out for us and the fun begins. At our home we have a fenced section and an electric fence for our pets that covers 4 acres. If your pet is trained on this type of fence he/she can run the whole yard. If they are not trained on electric fences they can run in our fenced in area attached to the back of our home. Inside that fenced in area is another fence around our unground pool. We are offering doggie swim & splash time in the inground pool. We will also have a baby pool they can jump in. We have 4 dog kennels in our air conditioned/ heated garage for boarding when they are not playing outside. Garage door will be kept shut and only a side locked door will be used to enter in and out of. I will also be getting dog first aid/CPR certified soon. Our vets office is 2 minutes down the road from us as well. I will also be cleaning the kennels between each dog with the same chemicals the vet uses to kill diseases and is safe for animals. Knowing your dogs temperament and personality will help us secure his/her safety and others. We have a questionnaire to help us get to know your pet and it’s needs.

I have been house sitting for several years for family member and friends. Looking to branch out a bit and pick up my own clientele. About: I have five years of animal care under my belt. I have worked in dog daycare and boarding which I have always enjoyed! I’ve worked with shelter pets in the past and have handled all ages and sizes of dogs. I am available all week from morning to evening all week, my goal is to make taking care of your furry friends a full time gig and become your favorite most trusted pet sitter! When caring for your pet I will make sure they always have access to clean fresh water, make sure they relieve themselves whether it be letting them out into the yard or going for a trot around the neighborhood, I'd also make sure they would get the attention and love they need while you are running errands, at work or planning a vacation!

About: Never had my childhood home had less than 5 animals. I've grown up taking care of dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, rats, mice, gerbils, bunnies, and turtles-most of those under solely my care. I've always loved caring for my animals and watching them grow. I'm currently not working outside of the home. I am a stay at home mom so I will be available for your animals full time! We have a 3200 sq ft 2 level home with a large unfenced yard. I have one friendly 8 year old female labradoodle, one very sweet, friendly, and energetic 1 year old newfoundland mix, and another very nonchalant 5 year old male cat. I also have a 8 year old son and a 2 year old son who both love and respect animals. Our home is a very comfortable space for any kid friendly animal to enjoy. We feed 2x a day, let them out to potty at least 4x a day-I will leash if necessary.

We have had dogs, cats, horses, and chickens and I have loved all of them equally. I have been helping to take care of my grandpa’s coonhounds since I could walk. Throughout my life, I have been able to work with these strong, high energy dogs. I have experience with walking them, as well as teaching them how to walk on the leash with minimal pulling. We have also raised MANY litters of puppies, so I have experience with puppy care as well. I have had the responsibility of giving puppies their parvo/puppy shots to ensure they don’t become ill when weaning from their mother. I have also had my own dog, Sally, for about 10 years now. She is a French bulldog, and she does need a little extra care sometimes. She has some skin irritations, so she has a special food that has helped. She also has a gentle shampoo that she is bathed with that will not cause her to itch afterwards. I also keep her face and wrinkles clean to keep any irritation at bay. I am a student at Morehead State University, where I am part of an organization called 4Paws for Ability. We work with service dogs in training where we socialize them in public. These dogs learn to not be afraid of new things, and to feel comfortable and confident in a public setting no matter where they go. I have been a part of this group for two years, and for a year and a half of this time, I have been able to dog sit many of these dogs countless amounts of time. I had the opportunity to work with and be responsible for one of these dogs named Gingko. I was responsible for his care, and a lot a lot of his basic commands. My main goal was to socialize him in public, which included things like meeting new people/children, being able to walk by dogs without a reaction, going shopping at Walmart, hearing new sounds, or even just a walk through a park. In the summer of 2022, I volunteered at the Owen County Animal Clinic where I had the opportunity to work with all sorts of dogs and cats. Often times, I would comfort and hold animals still for any injections, nail trimmings, or basic inspection that needed to be done. I enjoyed my time there, and I especially enjoyed giving love and comforting many of the scared and stressed animals. I currently have a part time job and will be working on some Wednesdays and Fridays, as well as Saturdays and Sunday mornings. I won’t be working all day, so will still have availability on those days, but not a full day. Otherwise, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays are open all day! I do help my grandfather exercise his hound dogs on occasion, but nothing that interferes with creating a schedule. I have a pretty big yard so my dog gets to run around as she pleases. She isn’t kept on a collar or leash as she is very well trained to stay in the yard, but she doesn’t like to be alone anyway so she stays near me. But I do understand that not all dogs are like this and may need a very watchful eye. When my grandpa raises a litter of coonhound puppies, they need to be watched during outside times so they don’t wonder off into the woods or close to the road.

About: I’ve cared for my bulldog at home for many years now and make frequent visits to my grandmothers house to help her take care of her beagles. I have always had a passion to make animals specifically dogs time on earth the best it can be. I know they are incredibly misunderstood and no matter the animal, I have always found a way to get along with the fur baby. On days I don’t work, it would be amazing to get the opportunity to do this as to me it’s not considered a job Make them feel comfortable and let them know that you are there for them. Rigglee and I start every morning together taking a long perimeter check (walk) around the neighborhood. After a full and well balanced specialty meal, our daily traing exercises and of course play time, Rigglee enjoys a long midday nap while I take on the normal work week. I spoil my pup with the finest of things I can provide him. There's nothing that makes me happier than to know dogs are full, fat, happy and tired.
