About: My girlfriend and I have over 10 years of animal care experience. Anything from boarding, training, fostering, and sitting. We look forward to spending time with your pet and giving them the best possible experience they can have. Long walks on a walking trail or Montgomery Bell Park are some of our favorites. Trust in us for all of your pets needs. Our animals are our life and someone will be there for round the clock care for your pet. More than willing to work with you on timing and boarding days anyway we can to make sure you have the best experience. I have a fenced in yard for your pup to enjoy quality playtime with our well trained pups. All pups will be crated at night for bed with minimum crate time throughout the day. If you have any special needs your dog needs accommodated we would be more than happy to do so. Communication is key so just let us know.

About: Hi! My name is Victoria. I’ve spent the last 5 years working with animals! The last 4 of those has been my career as a veterinary assistant! I have experience with senior pets and puppies! I have lots of experience with exotics , pocket pets and small animals, as well as reptiles and birds! I have some but limited farm care experience! Your pet is my priority! I spent my days basing my schedule on my clients needs for their pets! Weather that be drop ins, or staying! We have a 1/2 acre fence in property! We do have other pets, however your pet will not have access to mine. My pets are vaccinated and current on all wellness programs! Your pet will be receiving around the clock care and attention!

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, and small animals since I was 6 years old. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, water, and take care of their pets on many occasions! I have a very flexible schedule rand can work with any pets. I do have 5 dogs me and my boyfriend own. They have a schedule of feedings and potty breaks but basically they just play all the time. They are all VERY playful and super friendly. I mostly would prefer to care for animals in my own home as I can do my daily tasks as well as keep your companions happy. I am more than happy to care for them in yours I just cannot stay nights. I have a big back yard so they can get lots of exercise and play time! If needed I can also separate my own animals from yours with no problem at all.

About: Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to consider me. I've had pets all my life but I've worked professionally in Vet Med for about 7 years now. I absolutely love it and have a passion for taking care of and nurturing these sweet creatures 💜. It would be a pleasure to keep your babies safe and spoiled 🐕. Feel free to reach out with any questions! Quite easily! I am, luckily, able to have these babies around me often. Whether it be when I was working (Vet Tech!) or at home with my own kiddos (Pet variety 😀). I would do my best to accommodate you and your little ones. I would make the care of your babies top priority and treat them just like they were my own, which means not just showing up and throwing some food in a bowl and leaving, it means lots of cuddles, playtime and spoiling 🖤. I am not currently in the position to board in my own place, but in the future that will change! If you chose to trust me on your home with your loves, I would respect them and your property like it's my own. I will follow your care instructions exactly as you specify because you're entrusting me with some very important aspects of your life and I don't take that lightly. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me 🐕🐈‍⬛! Please reach out with any questions. 😊

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 87 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across Pleasantville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Pleasantville stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Pleasantville. On Rover:

  • 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
