“At our meet and greet, my first impression of Daniel was, he has a very calm demeanor. Murphy is a very large and energetic dog. Daniel didn't flinch when he came barreling in towards him. He stayed with Pebbles and Murphy for 3 days. He was very early the first day. His communication is OUTSTANDING! I received so many pictures and updates. He even took out the trash! On one day, one of the dogs had vomited before he got here. He sent me pictures and asked what I'd like him to do. The next text I got said that he cleaned it all up, and that there were towels in the trash that he brought with him. He is so prepared, punctual, responsible, and trustworthy. I'm so glad I found him on Rover. I will most definitely book him again if he's willing to come back. I can't say enough good things about Daniel. I was able to relax and truly enjoy my time away with my new grandson and not worry about our fur babies. They were in excellent hands.”

About: I bring energy and love for plenty of walks, petting, and playtime. I’m patient with pets who exhibit difficult behaviors, as I know they are often scared, traumatized, or facing health challenges. I’m used to very young and very old pets. I have worked with dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, pet birds, chickens, and plants. I work online, so my schedule is pretty flexible. Staying over is practical, because any work I can do from my home, I can do from someone else’s; I love playing fetch on breaks, and am very happy to type with a cuddly cat. I build trust by having fun with animals before trying to get them to do things they don’t want to do. I’m able to coax hesitant animals into crates and harnesses, reassure them if they’re learned to fear reactions to things they can’t control (e.g., continence issues), hide medication in food, etc. I take safety very seriously, investigating noises your animals are concerned by and scrupulously remembering to lock doors. I can bring mail in, so it’s clear someone’s home. I have basic first aid skills.

About: I am a college student trying to make a little extra money by taking care of some awesome dogs. I helped take care of two dogs growing up. I had an English bulldog for 11 years and I had another dog that is a mix of a lot of breeds that is now 7. I now have my own dog named Obi who is a poodle and is 9 months old. I have enjoyed helping train and care for all of them. I currently work part time doing odd jobs so I have a flexible schedule and am available for drop in visits plus do house sittings. Morning and late afternoon drop in visits would be the best. I keep my dog Obi well cared for and make sure to give him exercise and plenty of love. I am willing to feed them, give them water, play with them, and take them for walks just like I do my own dogs.

About: I have worked in the pet industry for about 8 years now. I have worked at doggie daycares in St. Louis(Williamsburg Pet Hotel) and here in Kansas City(The Collar Club) I currently work at Nestle Purina as a puppy trainer. I also volunteer at Kc pet project and take shelter dogs out for dog day outs. I have experience with all size and types of dogs. My mom currently lives on a farm with ducks, chickens, 5 dogs and 4 cats. I grew up with animals my whole life and love each and every animal as they are my own. Dogs are such amazing animals and we need them more than they truly need us. I am currently working full time at Purina. I had a change in my schedule and I am available Saturday, Sundays, Wednesdays during the day. I can also walk any other day after 5pm. I am open to house sitting as long as the owner knows if I work one of the days that they book I would be gone 5:30am to 5:30pm. I love working with pets In their own home. The dogs are more comfortable and feel safe in their own home. I have a chow/shepherd mix that has anxiety so I am used to dogs that struggle with new people and anxiety.
