“We have a socialized feral cat, Kitty-Kitty (long story on the name), who is very leery of most people especially unknown people. Kitty is an indoor/outdoor cat who uses a cat door to come in when he wants but he spends most of the day outside and prefers indoors for the evening and night. Kitty has never been left alone; either I or my sister have always been here for him. Kitty also needed to take a pill twice a day which required some prep to hide it; pill pockets alone won't work and giving it orally was absolutely not an option. Jo was very understanding of these circumstances. We were gone for 5 days which required Jo mostly coming twice a day. She was prompt and willingly completed all the "asks" on my detailed instructions, like putting snacks in various places, getting the mail, turning certain lights off and on. She also let me now what snacks had been eaten which let me know Kitty had been in during the day. Jo even managed to take several pictures of Kitty and surprisingly, he did not run away. Maybe Jo is a cat whisperer. We couldn't ask for a better person to take care of our Kitty when we were gone. Despite my neurotic angst about leaving Kitty, I was able to feel at peace knowing he was well cared for by Jo and his well being was always considered. We will will most definitely ask for Jo the next time Kitty needs a care giver. Thank you Jo. You're #1!”

About: Hi, I’m Kensington! I’ve been caring for animals my whole life—everything from cuddly pups and finicky cats to scaly little dragons (yes, really). I treat every pet like family, with patience, love, and attention to the little things that make them unique. Whether your dog needs a walk, your cat needs a lap to claim, or your shy pet just needs a calm presence, I’ve got them covered. I work evenings as the animal caretaker at Pet Supplies Plus. As for the days that I don’t work, my times are flexible however I prefer to know a day or so in advance when you’ll need me! I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and needs—whether that means sticking to a feeding schedule, giving space to shy pets, or providing plenty of play and snuggles. I keep your home clean and respect your space, just like I do with the animals I care for. I’m experienced, adaptable, and always ready to make your pet feel loved and secure while you’re away.

About: I provide overnight dog care in my home. I have been on Rover for about years. I have a 2 year old mixed breed dog named Boots. I adopted Boots about 1 year ago. Boots is sweet with all dogs and people. He could use some manners but we are working on it. I have had dogs my whole life and just love them immensely. I have cared for many elder dogs, dispense medicine and happy to provide xtra needed care as long they can do their business outside. Thats my only request. I only watch dogs that are good with all humans and dogs. I have a small fenced yard. My neighborhood is very dog friendly and lots of areas to walk dogs. If your dog has a special diet, no problem. I will care for no more than 2 doggie guests at a time as I have my own dog. I will make exceptions if it works well. About this sitter: Hi my name is Brenda. I love animals, but mostly dogs and puppies. About: I am 37 years old, stay at home mom of two young boys. I've owned and fostered dogs for over 15 years of my life. My dogs are my best friends and I treat them like family. I love meeting and playing with dogs, from little dogs to big dogs, no problem. I enjoying playing fetch and training my dogs. I'm very patient and able to adapt to dogs specific needs. Throughout my life I have had a dachshund, an australian shepherd, german shepherd mix, a pit bull, and a great dane mix, and many mixed breeds. Love taking my dogs to the beach and simple walks around the neighborhood. My aussie foster was a double merle. Due to bad breeding he has seeing impairments. He was also extremely active and suffered from separation anxiety. I was able to ease his anxiety by spending an hour twice a day playing fetch with a chucket and whistles balls so he could hear where the ball went. I also have experience with snakes, fish and sugar gliders I’m a stay at home mom of two young boys so very flexible with the time I’m able to spend taking care of your pets. I have a fenced in yard and a separate area in my house that I can care for your pets if staying with me. When taking care of your pets at your home just let me know the routine and I can abide by it.

About: I've always had dogs. I have a deep affection for dogs, and the clients I've had seem to be quite satisfied with the level of care we provide. We are also close to the beach and can take your beloved on walks on the beach! I'm retired, so I'm available almost all of the time. I do dog-walking, or pet-sitting at folks homes, or have their dogs stay at my house. I have good references. I have a fenced in yard, with plenty of room for dogs to frolic around. About: I have had a profound love for animals since my childhood and it has always been a dream of mine to work with animals. My family fostered dogs and cats of all ages, shapes, and sizes from our local humane society consistently throughout my upbringing along with owning multiple family pets as well. Both of my parents were flight attendants who constantly traveled for work so I have a considerable amount of experience caring for pets while their primary owner is away so you can rest assured that your pet would be in good hands. Rover is my full time job so I will have plenty of time to provide all the love and care your pet would need. I am enrolled in an online tech university for a veterinary assistant certificate that I have morning classes for on weekdays. Weekdays after 12pm and weekends I am free to work and can do my classes in the morning at your house if I'm providing overnight care for a pet if needed. I will create a safe environment for your pet by giving them food and water in the amount and frequency you specify. I will also make sure they have plenty of exercise by walking them and playing with them as much as you would like as well. Making sure your pet is well feed and hydrated, happy, healthy, hygienic, and loved are all top priorities of mine to ensure your pet is as comfortable as possible. If you have any specific requests regarding enrichments or medications I am more than willing to accommodate to those needs as well.
