Krystal was very responsive and our dog was well taken care of for the day. If you drop off in the morning, stop at Cabin Coffee for a nice breakfast.

Matt & Angie are the best! Literal lifesavers! I was in a massive bind with a school event and they agreed to take my dog in on super short notice, and were incredibly pleasant and sweet from start to finish. It’s clear they truly love animals. They treated her like their own and kept me updated with videos and pictures. It made a stressful day so much easier knowing she was in such good hands. She had so much fun and made new friends! I felt 100% comfortable leaving her in their hands. Highly, highly recommend!

About: I have raised a french bulldog since 8 weeks old. If you are familiar with dogs, these are some of the most stubborn, and specialized breeds out there. She is now a healthy 7 year old, who loves to chew on everything, play fetch and get treats! My experience raising her will help me take care of your furry friend. In addition to that, I have cared for many dogs small to large in the setting of dog walking, house sitting and boarding. My dog is my entire world so I know how important pets are to the family. I can ensure you that your animals will get the highest level of care and love while at my home. I love to send updates with pictures throughout the day! I’m a traveling healthcare worker currently located in Boulder, CO. My husband travels with me and works from home 24/7 so someone will always be with your pup! I’m available Monday-Sunday. Would love to show your animals some love! My husband and I love doggies so we will be giving LOTS of love and they will be interacting with my frenchie, most of the time. I have a spacious apartment with access to many trails nearby. The complex also has a fenced in dog park.

About: Relocated here from Iowa. Enjoy working with different dogs. Pet lover. I completed 6 months of Veterinarian Assistant classes online. Life happened and I had to take a pause. But I am thinking about going back and finish obtaining my associates degree in the field. So whether it be house sitting with the animals or simply doing some walking or activities, I don't mind and will enjoy my time with them. Its something I enjoy as one of my hobbies. I am available during the week days. Every other weekend I work night shift at this time. I enjoy play time with pets because they too have different personalities. Love Dogs. We cuddle mostly and play. Take walks outside. Play fetch with their toys. It's cool to go to the backyard and be socialable with nature. I think it helps with sensory awareness.

Andria's family and dog are all very friendly towards my puppy. Nori had a blast there. He got home and fell asleep within 30 minutes, so I didn't have to spend a lot of time playing with him in the evening:) Andria also captured a few great photos of Nori running in the snow with his new friend. Love the photos!

About: -Small Pet Care As Well- I have extensive experience volunteering at animal shelters for years, along with personal pet care for individuals. I've cared for pets of various sizes, ages, and abilities, including administering medication as needed. I recognize the unique needs of each pet, and I provide the patience, attention, and care they require. My love for animals ensures I treat every pet as if they were my own. Feel free to message me to talk through your pet’s specific needs and how I can help. Caring for your pet fits naturally into my routine since I have a very flexible schedule, so I’m available for feedings, walks, or check-ins throughout the day. As a freelance graphic designer, I set my own hours, and I like filling that flexibility with time helping others and their pets. I’m always respectful of you and your pet’s boundaries, rules, and daily routines, ensuring their comfort. I have also worked as a house keeper, so I tidy up every chance I get.

About: 🐾 Loving, Experienced Care You Can Trust Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I truly love. I have a deep passion for making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved—especially when their families are away. Before becoming a mom, I earned my Veterinary Technician degree and worked in veterinary clinics, gaining hands-on experience with animals of all ages and needs. I’m comfortable administering medications, providing basic first aid, monitoring pets for changes in behavior or health, and caring for animals who may need a little extra attention. I also have extensive experience caring for senior dogs, including my own 20-year-old Chihuahua. I understand that older pets often require patience, gentle care, and a little extra monitoring, and I’m happy to accommodate their individual routines and needs. I recently became a mom and am currently home with my baby, which gives me the wonderful opportunity to return to something I’ve always loved—caring for animals. I truly believe I was meant to nurture and care for animals, and I treat every pet who stays with me like they are part of my own family. 🐶 A Home Away From Home I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet behind. My goal is to make their stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Your dog will receive plenty of love, attention, playtime, exercise, and cuddles throughout their stay. We take daily walks and make sure each dog gets plenty of interaction and attention while also respecting their need for downtime and rest. I’m happy to send regular photos and updates so you can see how your pup is doing and have peace of mind while you’re away. Safety is extremely important to me. My personal dogs have their own separate area of the basement, so they remain completely separated from boarding pets. This allows me to provide a calm, controlled environment and carefully manage introductions and interactions. 🎓 Veterinary Experience + Training My veterinary background gives me an extra level of knowledge and confidence when caring for your pet. I’m comfortable following medication instructions and keeping a close eye on your pet’s overall well-being during their stay. One of my favorite things to do is work with and train dogs. I’ve put a lot of time into training my own dogs, and I’m often complimented on how well-behaved they are. If your dog is struggling with basic manners, training, or certain behavioral challenges, I’d be happy to help reinforce positive behaviors during their stay. Every dog is different, and I take the time to learn their personality, routine, comfort level, and individual needs. When your pup stays with me, they’re not just another boarding dog—they’re family. My goal is for you to leave feeling confident that your pet is safe, happy, loved, and receiving the same kind of care I would want for my own animals. 🐾❤️ I finished schooling to become a Vet Technician and than became pregnant. So currently I am at home with my 9 month old. I am eager to get back to caring for animals but also would like to spend time taking care of my daughter as well! Before your pet’s stay, I ask you to provide detailed information about their daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, medications, allergies, medical history, behavioral tendencies, and comfort preferences. I also like to know how your pet interacts with children, other dogs, and new environments, as well as any triggers, fears, or special instructions that will help them feel safe and comfortable.

About: I have always been an avid animal-lover. From childhood into adulthood, I have owned and cared for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, birds & fish. My family & I currently share our home with two dogs, a bearded dragon, a Russian tortoise, & a ball python. I have several years of professional work experience in animal care (zoo, kennel care, walking, basic grooming) and wildlife / parks & recreation—both of which are relevant. I enjoy the outdoors and keeping all of our furry (& scaly) friends happy. I will board dogs, small mammals, reptiles & birds in my home! Upon request, I can do drop-in visits for cats or exotic animals within a 15 mile radius. I am currently a stay-at-home mom & so my schedule allows me to be at home majority of the time. If I need to leave the house, it’s never for more than a couple of hours. I have a large four-story home, which provides amble space for pets to play or to be separated if need be. I utilize crates for dogs who need or prefer it. Our yard is unfenced, so I use slip leads and tie-out cables for potty time.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Plainview commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 67 sitters in Plainview, 97% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
