About: From energetic labs to more lethargic Bichon's, I've cared for a wide variety of dogs in the short time I've been in the dog sitting game. Whether it be just a simple walk for a mile or so, to bathing, many of the closest people around me have looked to me when they needed their pet cared for. Though I've only "pet sat" for about a year now, my family has been blessed to have been able to have 4 dogs in my lifetime (with our current being my yorkie bichon King Zeus), with everyone of them adding experience to a different aspect of what it means to correctly care for a pet. I'm a part-time employee at a pizza place, so most days there is plenty of time for me to spend time with any dog staying with me! I see every pet that I care for as if it's my very own, meaning I'm am willing to go the extra mile to ensure that not only the pet is as comfortable as they can be, but also their owner can entrust them in my care knowing that their little baby will be safe. In terms of the living area in my house, it's very pet friendly with wide spaces and a VERY big backyard so that pets can play to their heart's content.

I appreciate her reaching out to me right away to let me know, and to also reassure me that neither dog (or she fortunately) was injured. She cleaned up the mess thoroughly, which was necessary to prevent injuries but also above and beyond. I also appreciate her continued patience with my two young and dogs. I know they are A LOT when she opens the front door. I'm really pleased to have found Breanna to take my dogs for recurring walks while I'm working. About: Hi, I'm Kim! I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember. I'm a mom of 4 fur babies of my own and have had animals all my life. I am currently transitioning from a 13 year Nanny position into my dream job of caring for animals full time. Three years ago, I started pet sitting part-time and have gotten rave reviews and I absolutely love it!! (References available on request) My schedule is very flexible for drop-ins and overnight stays on a first come, first serve basis. I will come to your pet's home where they are most comfortable. Offering pet care services in your home, I follow the typical routine you and your pets have already established. They will keep their routine and not go through any traumatic transitions. The best part? Your fur baby is there when you get home. Your home will also have that "lived in" look. Mail will be picked up, plants watered, lights will be switched on and off, trash rolled to the curb, and any house issues that arise can be addressed. Especially for overnight or vacation services, I would love the chance to meet you and your pet(s) in your home ahead of time. I always encourage new clients to schedule a (free) 30-minute meet-and-greet before the first booking (either at your home or a public location) so that I can meet your pet(s). If I am doing a sitting or drop-in, then these are perfect for showing me where the food supplies are as well as bowls, litter box(es), and anything else that may be needed for the booking I send daily updates while you are away so your vacation is worry free. I am looking to establish a regular client base and consider pets as part of the family.

About: I've had dogs since I can remember. My fiancé watched dogs in the past with rover and I would always help. Take the dogs to the park on my days off, play outside, and train them when needed. I am currently on veterans disability so I can focus my whole day to your furry friend. No worry about being stuck in all day. I have 5 acres of yard for them to play on. I have lots of space if needed, room for crates, room outside. Plenty of space so your furry friend won't feel trapped. My animals mind their own.

When going on walks I ALWAYS check the dogs collar and leash before leaving the house to be sure everything is appropriately secure. I always make sure I watch any dogs before I open doors to be sure no one runs out! My experience with K9 behavior allows me to catch a bad thing before it happens!

About: Hello all! My name is Alex and I am currently a stay at home mom here in Powhatan VA. Ever since I can remember I have been an animal lover. I have never not owned an animal, and currently have two dogs, two cats and a turtle of my own! I also have volunteered 200 hours at the PSPCA in Newport News, where I gained a lot of experience in the care of different types of dogs and cats. My husband and I live in a house with almost an acre fenced in, so your pup will always have a place to run around when staying with us!! Communication is key! Large fenced in back yard with a dog door that allows them to go in and out as they please. We always walk the fence before a stay to make sure there are no holes your fur baby could escape from! I am available to keep your fur baby overnight at our house. I am unable to stay at the clients house due to being a mom to two beautiful little girls!

About: I have taken care of puppies that are still being trained, very anxious dogs that require attention, senior dogs, and multiple dogs at one time that require medications and certain feeding routines. I currently am a Master Esthetician struggling to find a job in this career. I dog sit for family and friends all of the time and have come to love looking after animals. About: I have been taking care of animals since I was seven years old. My family had two kittens that I cared for and I was responsible for pet sitting other fur babies in the neighborhood growing up. I also attended many animal science/nature camps growing up, it’s where I got my first hermit crab! I also know the Heimlich maneuver for both cats and dogs. In my junior year of high school I applied and was accepted to the HOSA veterinary science program where I graduated in the National Honors Society. Shortly after graduation, I started working at a veterinary hospital as a veterinary assistant. My job was to help restrain animals for exams/shots, organize medications, prepare/read fecal slides and determine if intestinal parasites are present, collect urine samples, and provide basic care. Overall I have had personal experience caring for dogs/puppies, cats/kittens, goats, horses, hamsters, chickens/chicks, pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, ferrets, chinchillas, birds, lizards, snakes, frogs, turtles, hermit crabs, and axolotls. I am currently a student in nursing school and am working as a part time server. I only have classes two days a week on Monday (6 AM - 6 PM) and Tuesday (8:30 AM - 11:15 AM) and work a couple hours 2 evenings a week, but can take off if needed for services. I like to learn about their daily routine and what they like to do for fun so and incorporate those things into our routine while clients are gone, so pets feel safe and relaxed while their family isn’t there.

About: Your pets, deserve the best! I have been taking care of 3 dogs ever since I was 10 years old. I have lived with animals since birth and loved them before I could walk. I am experienced and trusted. I have 3 labs currently, and playing outside with them is my favorite! I love taking pictures so you never miss a cute moment.
