“Best at taking photos of my babies : the cutest and silliest that you can imagine. I never catch them like that. She loves my babies, and listens to my instructions. Informs of any slight time changes, and affordable! Love Rachel, and haven’t even met her!”

About: A city girl asked to pet sit a mini farm and became known as a horse whisperer! I have been asked by family and friends to help with a variety of animals! They have all been great experiences and I loved spending time with them! I am currently a travel nail tech with an extremely flexible schedule. I have eight cats, but also have experience with a variety of dog sizes! I have eight cats who have plenty of space to play and rest, filled with toys and cozy places to relax! I am a blanket fiend.

About: 40+ years’ experience caring for and loving dogs of all ages. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior dogs and even those in their prime with plenty of energy. I am very experienced with administering medicine if needed and caring for those with special needs. My husband and I have always had our own fur babies (toy and standard poodles), but do not have any currently. I am retired, so I’m always here to give extra cuddles, potty breaks, play time and walks. I really love their company! Tell me their routine while at home with you and I will do my best to ensure it stays the same when in my care. We have a large fenced yard with shade in a small and quiet subdivision. Our home is two story so plenty of room for playing and naps. If they do not care for going up stairs, I can stay on the main floor. Our neighborhood is perfect for walks. I have crates if they are crate trained and you prefer that, but that is not necessary. Being on the furniture or bed is fine with me too. I give extra special attention if they are nervous during a thunderstorm or other loud noises (such as fireworks on a holiday). I am very attentive and adapt to small things such as if they just don't like going out in the rain. I always send daily updates including photos, videos & text throughout their stay.

“Lauren did a great job and made friends with my cats! My cats never let anyone besides me pet them and they did let her. I honestly thought she wouldn't even see them at all but they trusted her. She is a cat whisperer apparently. I would use her again!”

About: I have always loved and been around animals my whole life. My grandparents had a mini farm and I would take care of my brother's dog when he would have to work. This care included walking, feeding, and bathing his dog. I also use to work part-time at Adams Farm Animal Hospital in Greensboro NC as a Kennel Attendant and Veterinary Assistant. I'm currently a full-time college student so I'll have time to take care of your pup whenever I don't have classes. I also work as a Dental Assistant Monday through Friday 8am-4pm. I’m still available during the week but I’m available all day all weekend. Though I stay in an apartment there are a lot of areas for your dog and me to go on long walks. My apartment complex also has a dog park. I can also crate your dog if you would like.

About: Living in the OBX, Willing to travel, see new places! I want to help care for your dog in your home because I believe pets are happiest in their home setting. I never boarded my dog, always traveled with him or had a family member stay. I'm excited to meet all your fur family and see some new places. If you live near trails, i particularly enjoy a hiking dog. I will travel for overnight care up to a few hours. I also visit NH regularly. Im working on something personal right now which allows me the flexibility to travel and dog sit. I prefer the beach, mountains, lakes, quiet over cities. I'm a kiteboarder and hiker, so i'm partial to areas I can explore with these activities. I always follow the household schedule and your pets preferences. During my time in your home, I will leave it generally cleaner than I found it. I'm comfortable traveling to dog parks, trails etc with a dog or two in my car.. I'm happy to keep your plants happy, enjoying a green thumb.

“We just moved here to NC and know no one. We were planning a trip to CT and could not find a cat friendly hotel. I found Laila on here and was a little iffy. NOT about her just me. I never trusted anyone watching my babies (cats). I am so happy I took a chance. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED her. She took great care of my babies. She spent time with them, played with them, and most of all treated them like they were her own. They LOVED her! I told my cats that she wasn’t coming today and they were very sad and moped all day. I would absolutely ask her again & recommend her to everyone.”

About: I have taken care of my own pets all my life. I have had pets from fish, frogs and snakes to bunnies, cats, and dogs. I often watch friends and families beloved pets and always treat them as I would want someone to treat mine! I am currently working from home part time, which gives me plenty of free time to be able to play with and walk your fur babies. I can walk or simply let out and play with your dog and am able to crate if necessary. I also can give medication if needed as my own dog takes medicine everyday.

About: At Central Canines, pet care is more than just a service — it’s a personalized experience built on trust, structure, and love. With years of hands-on experience in both dog training and boarding, I go beyond basic care to truly understand each dog’s personality, needs, and behavior. Whether your pup is staying overnight or working on new skills, they’ll receive consistent structure, positive reinforcement, and one-on-one attention in a safe, home-style environment — not a crowded kennel. What sets me apart is the calm, confident energy I bring to every interaction, my commitment to helping dogs thrive both mentally and physically, and the genuine relationships I build with each pet and their family. Here, every dog is treated like one of my own. Pet care is my full-time lifestyle — not just part of my day. As a professional dog trainer and full-time pet care provider, my entire routine is centered around the well-being, structure, and happiness of the dogs in my care. In my home, pets are cared for with a structured, safe, and loving routine that supports both their physical and mental well-being. Dogs enjoy plenty of outdoor time in a secure yard, personalized enrichment activities, and rest periods throughout the day to prevent overstimulation. Each pup gets one-on-one attention, daily check-ins, and plenty of love — all while maintaining a calm, balanced environment. Cleanliness, safety, and respect for each dog’s individual needs are always my top priorities.

“Being a Rover sitter myself, a vet tech, and owning a ranch full of animals, I have high expectations for any pet sitter we hire. Moreover, I am extremely picky on who I hire! It is without a doubt, Kylie has done a phenomenal job each time she has stayed at the ranch. She has managed every obstacle or challenge our horses, dogs, cats, pig, cows and birds have given her. She keeps in contact throughout her stay and helps my very anxious self be more at ease. Our dogs love her like family!! We love having Kylie stay at the ranch, and will solely use her in the longterm. Highly recommend!”
