“Nancy’s the best pet sitter I’ve ever had! She’s responsive, eager to make sure all my animals are well taken care of. Whether it’s walking my rat terrier or making sure the heater is working so that they don’t get cold at night, she’s thoughtful and goes the extra distance. And she sends me pictures of the dog and cats at every visit in real time. She’s just wonderful.”

“Jessica is great with our animals! She also really helped me out last minute when we had a family emergency. Thank you so much and looking forward to having you watch the pups!”

“Carly was an excellent communicator. She took lots of photos of the pets and wrote up a detailed account of her visit. She asked good questions at our meet and greet which gave me confidence in that she knows what she is doing.”

About: Having to leave my own dogs at home while I'm at work, I understand the struggle. I will give your furry friend the care and attention that they miss while you are away. I'm a professional horse farrier. When I'm not out shoeing horses I'm always training my own dogs or friends dogs. I have always had a love for dog walking and spending quality time with animals. If I'm not shoeing horses, I will be available to your furry friends. I currently am part time and get a new schedule once a week. Contact me and I'll let you know what days I can come out. As I have said before, I understand the struggle, stress and worry of leaving your pet at home while you're at work. I have fully experienced with my own dogs especially in our high fire danger area. I will give your critters love and attention while you are away.

About: I love animals! I have been around them forever, and in school studying to become a Veterinary Technician :) I am always open for play dates! I work Monday-Friday at Sammie’s Friends, but am available after 5pm for short dog/cat sitting. I am available weekends so any trips you want to take I’ve got you and your furry companion covered. I am very attentive and will make sure your pet is cared for and safe. Whether they are high energy and need more play time, or animals who just need some extra TLC.

“Ashley was very thoughtful and professional. I appreciated how transparent she was and how she demonstrated knowledge about caring for senior dogs. Mel is a very special pooch and I think Ashley saw that right away and knew how to adjust. It’s difficult to find her available (good for her!) but I recommend her walks!”

About: I grew up around dogs my entire life, we’ve always had various pets in our household from bunnies, rats, ferrets to German Shepard’s, pit bulls and chihuahuas. I’m always home on the weekends, usually just chilling in bed watching movies, or go for a nice walk on the beach or in downtown. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions! *Please do not book with me if your dog cannot be left alone during the day. I work from 6a-3p during the week and I have a small apartment so I cannot have them barking the entire time I’m gone. Thank you for understanding* I do work during the weekdays but I work close to my home so I can always come home on my lunch to give midday potty breaks if needed. I have a consistent schedule and am usually home by 3/4pm. Dogs are kept separated when I am not home and I also have 24/7 camera on my apartment so I can always keep an eye on the dogs when I’m not there.

“Took very good care of my 3 kitties. 1 of them is quite shy and he warmed up to her. 1 of them needs an inhaler daily, she did well with that. The boys all loved her. Communicates well, is friendly and trustworthy. I highly recommend.”

“Cynthia was able to accommodate two requests for drop-ins over the course of several days when my travel plans changed at the last minute. She was wonderful with Foxy, not only feeding her but also playing fetch and snuggling. I'll absolutely reach out to her again the next time I'm going to be out of town.”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, goats, and even more exotic pets in both urban homes and rural off-grid environments. Whether it’s walks, belly rubs, or administering medicine, I treat every animal as a unique being with their own personality and needs. Friends and community members often turn to me for pet care because they know I genuinely love and respect animals as soulful companions. As an entrepreneur with a flexible schedule, I’m available for daytime visits, overnight stays, and extended care. I work remotely and manage my own hours, so I can easily tailor my availability to your pet’s routine—including last-minute needs or irregular schedules. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority. I offer a calm, loving, and secure environment where your animals can feel safe and at ease. I take time to learn your pet’s specific needs, preferences, and routines to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for in your absence. I’m attentive to behavioral cues and quick to adapt to ensure trust is never broken. Whether we’re enjoying outdoor play or snuggling indoors, I create a grounded and peaceful space for them to thrive.

“Kristen is so thoughtful and caring with our dogs! She allowed us the peace of mind to enjoy a day away, knowing that our fur babies were looked after. We especially loved that she sent us a video of the pups while we were gone. While getting to know us, Kristen spent a good amount of time with all of the dogs and me, and I felt confident right away with her capabilities. I will definitely use Kristen again!”

“Having someone visit and feed the cat daily was a relief for us. Even though the cat didn’t make an appearance every day the food disappeared so we knew he was there. Just a bit shy and hid on Sheriane most days. This was much less stressful on Charcoal than going to a kennel. Sheriane checked in and kept us updated. 100% would use Rover and Sheriane again. Thank you”

“Aspen was great from start to finish! Aspen came to our apartment a few days before our requested stay to get a lay of the land and to meet our kitties, and she took notes about feeding and general care. Our cats do not require any meds or special care, but that doesn't mean I would want just anyone watching them... with Aspen's background in animal care I felt very comfortable. Under Aspen's watch, I received photo updates and felt good knowing Aspen was taking care of our little monsters. I would definitely book with Aspen again in the future!”

Pinecrest pet parents share their Rover experiences
Aspen did a great job with our little feline boy Charlie. We asked her to administer fluids for him as well why we were gone and she did a great job making sure to be careful and do what needed to be done. Our boy Charlie is a big scaredy cat and she was patient and careful to make sure he was safe and got what he needed. We will 100% be asking her to come back next time we go out of town. Great job Aspen and thank you so much for your help! :)

Incredible dog sitter, We could not have been more happy! Nate was interested in all of our pets, You could tell he cared about them. We trust Nate to be at our home, he was timely and followed through on everything we asked him to do. Nate went above and beyond, he watched our animals in a storm and the house got cold so Nate brought his own space heater to warm the house. Nate even offered to do more than expected. Nate’s communication is excellent, telling us daily about each pet and We will definitely use Nate again!
