1. Jason L.

“Jason was a fantastic, attentive care taker to our senior dog, cranky kitty and our home for over a week. He kept me up to date on how things were going which allowed me to relax in our travels. He is kind, thoughtful and wonderful with animals and we will certainly use him again!”

2. Deborah T.

“Was very pleased with Deborah. Dogs were happy and well fed. Will hire again”

3. Erika A.

“Erika was absolutely amazing with my dogs. I was very concerned because I have a German Shepherd that is very skittish and scared of everything still a baby. She met him in advance and did great with him. She kept me updated and send me photos and I would definitely recommend Erika and use her again in the future. She even brought her vacuum over to clean up my dog hair! How awesome is that. When she came back to get her vacuum the dogs went nuts over her. I hope to see her again in the future. Sincerely, Stacey Blue”

4. Katelyn G.

“Katelyn was great! Our dogs were well cared for and happy! And our house was spotless, like no one had been here while we were gone! It was nice to know our dogs were comfortable at home while we had to be away.”

5. Kendall O.

“My pups were well taken care of. Definitely appreciated the ease of mind having someone here while I was away!”

6. Auston & John M.
“I know Auston through her business, The Paw Place, a daycare provider for dogs in Grandville, MI. I was looking for such a place for my pit mix, Ruby, so she could become socialized with other dogs. She helped me with her training and guided me on how to handle such a dog. The Paw Place was always full of dogs playing and socializing and just dogging! There was very little barking from all of them and they all seemed to enjoy being there. Auston is very knowledgeable in all breeds and how dogs should be treated. In turn, the dogs all seemed to respect her and showed her lots of love as well. I always felt my dogs were in a safe place when not home with me. She cares for them all as if her own.”

7. Joye W.

“Joye was wonderful w/ Buck! Super attentive to his needs since he is still potty and crate training. Definitely recommend her!!”

8. Brittany C.

“Brittany did a great job pet sitting for us! She paid careful attention to our pets’ needs. She showed up early and communicated with us extremely well! We loved the pictures she sent! We would definitely hire her again!”

“Beth is a true gem! She is a kind and warm person who loves all fur babies! She has been very supportive of our family when we were out of town and willing to do more that asked and loves to walk and play with our Westie! Always reliable and trustworthy! You can’t ask for a nicer person!”

11. Kari E.
About: Hi! I’m Kari, a lifelong animal lover with a deep passion for caring for pets. Growing up surrounded by dogs, cats, and other animals, I’ve always felt a natural connection to them. I currently have three dogs of my own— a 9-year-old female American Pit Bull Terrier, a 5-year-old male American Pit Bull Terrier, and a 4-year-old male German Shepherd/Boxer mix. While I’m relatively new to professional pet sitting, I have years of experience caring for my own pets and have also helped friends and family with dog and/ or cat sitting, walking, and playtime. I’m a recent graduate of Central Michigan University and now teach 8th and 9th grade English at Manistee Area Public Schools. I’m committed to both my career and to providing the best care for pets. Through my experience with my own dogs, I’ve developed a strong understanding of how to manage different personalities and behavioral needs. For instance, my youngest dog developed anxiety and reactivity at around 1.5 years old, which has required daily medication and thoughtful management of his interactions with my other dogs. While it’s been challenging, it has helped me learn how to create a safe and structured environment for animals with unique needs. In addition to my dogs, I also have experience caring for a variety of animals, including four hens and a rooster, which has further expanded my knowledge of animal care. Though I’m newer to professional pet sitting, I am a quick learner and dedicated to building my skills and providing loving, reliable care for your pets. I understand that each animal is unique, and I’m eager to build lasting relationships with pets and owners alike. Whether your pet needs high-energy playtime, medication management, or just some quality attention, I’m here to provide the best care possible while you’re away. I work as a full-time English teacher, with my workday running from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Outside of these hours, I’m flexible and available to provide pet sitting, dog walking, and other services. I’m also happy to accommodate weekend requests. Located in Bear Lake, MI, I’m willing to travel within the surrounding areas to care for your pets. Whether you need early morning walks, evening visits, or weekend care, I can tailor my schedule to meet your needs. Please feel free to reach out to discuss specific times and arrangements! When caring for pets in my own home, I ensure they are treated like part of the family. I provide a safe and comfortable environment where they have plenty of space to roam and play. My dogs, like my clients’ pets, receive regular exercise, mental stimulation, and socialization. I’m mindful of their individual personalities and energy levels, which allows me to adjust care accordingly—whether it’s a calm day of cuddles or a more energetic session of playtime. For pets in their own homes, I focus on maintaining their usual routines to minimize stress. I follow any specific instructions provided by the owner, whether it's feeding schedules, medication needs, or exercise requirements. I believe consistency is key to helping pets feel comfortable when their owners are away. I make sure to provide companionship, keep the environment safe, and give them the attention they need. Whether it's daily walks, administering medication, or just offering plenty of affection, I treat each pet with the same care and dedication I give to my own animals. I’m committed to ensuring your pet feels happy, secure, and loved, whether they are in my home or yours.

12. Diego R.
“Diego has always been amazing with my beagle, Jewel. As a National Guard Soldier I often had weekends where I would be away from home at Drill. He would care for her like she was royalty. Jewel would get her daily exercise, was always fed the appropriate amount (and kept on her diet) even with her food restrictions, and was always returned to me as a VERY happy pup. He even gave her a bath for me once when she got very muddy while they were playing outside.”

13. Mckenna J.
“McKenna is a very tentative pet owner. She takes care of her dogs as if they were her children. She makes sure they have plenty of attention and exercises them regularly.”

14. Jasmine S.
About: I have experience in taking care of pets both personally and professionally. I have helped raise our family dog into her senior years which has involved administering medications 4 times a day. I have also taken care of family members’ puppies. More recently, I worked as a professional pet care specialist for a company which involved taking care of a variety of dogs ranging in age, size and breed. I am open for pet care on the weekends and possibly in the evenings on weekdays. I will be able to work most holidays as well! I am dedicated to providing safe care for your pets! I currently do not provide in-home care at my home, but I can do care in your home! I always make sure to be attentive during visits. I can provide lots of cuddles and enrichment or I can give your pet some space, it all depends on your fur babies’ needs.

16. Annie H.
“Annie is a very trusted dog sitter! We have 3 golden retrievers and they love her! Annie stays at our house when we are gone and we feel very secure in knowing that the dogs are getting the attention they need. She walks them daily and plays with them. Also Annie is a wonderful house guest. The house is usually cleaner when we get home then how we left it!!! We highly recommend her!”

17. Cory J.
About: I have taken care of many different animals in my life. Horses, cats, guniea pigs, rats, gerbils, dogs, rabbits, lizards and snakes. I love them all. I have done all different types of animal care and want to help others out when I am able. I can take of horses, cows, goats, dogs, cats, lizards and more. Just let me know! Pricing would vary with different animals that are larger than a dog, and smaller than a cat. :) I work full time. An 8 to 5 job. I am able to help out on the weekends when I have nothing going on, after work for drop ins or I can even house sit for you too. Just need a weeks notice. 😊 I care for them with love and care. I will listen close to your instructions and make sure they are taken care of as though you were home.
