About: I have had dogs and puppies many times in the past years so I am familiar with the needs of older dogs and puppies. I enjoy walking and taking walks with your dog. I am retired, living in the foothills of Jackson. I can be available to travel to your home, stay in your guest room, and hang out with your pets, or take your small pet at my home. When dogs and I walk I enjoy getting to know the surrounding area. Many times a neighbor will talk to me when we are on our walks! I am retired. Since I am available to travel to your home and stay there with your pets while I enjoy them and the time spent reading and visiting local attractions. Should you wish to use my home for care, I am home a lot while going out for a couple of hours at a time for my social meetings and such. I appreciate that much of the time I spend will be at your home with your pets. If I go out they will be wherever you leave them when you go to work or play. I always make sure they are safe and that I return in time for walks, their next meal and shared evening and sleep routine time.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life! I’ve been around dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages, from little puppies to older dogs. My grandma also fostered dogs, so I was always surrounded by them growing up! I absolutely adore animals and would treat your fur babies like my own! I’m a college student with a flexible schedule since most of my classes are online! About: I've been housesitting since 2010, mainly cats and dogs. Multi-pet houses don't bother me and I'm good at keeping with your fur kids' schedules. I have and RVT license that is current and have been an RVT for over 10 years. I took a break from housesitting to work at animal hospitals, including a 24-hour critical care hospital in the ICU. Medications and medical treatments are no problem for me. I have an open schedule and am comfortable with either staying at your home for your pet's comfort, or I can visit everyday to make sure they are cared for. I adjust to their wants and needs and stick to their schedule. I'm low stress and understand that sometimes pets just need to warm up to you. As for my personal pets, there's four cats with totally different personalities that run the house (I just live there).

About: My pet care experience began when I started living with my uncle as a teenager. Back in the Philippines, he would rescue puppies and keep them in the house until he could find them a foster home. After school, I would go straight home and take care of the rescues. I would feed them and keep them hydrated, and then take them out for a walk. I also taught them tricks until they could master it without treats. I strongly believed that training is an essential part of their growth. When I moved here, I adopted Astrid as a puppy and she has been with me for 3 years now. My main skills with pets includes strict attention to time management, understanding their behaviors, and attending to their needs. Other skills include having patience, clear communication with owners, being on time, and being responsible with the duties given. I currently work part-time as a cook in a nursing home. On my days off, I usually stay at home either on my computer or take my dog to play outside. I have a lot of leisure time on these days, and I believe that pet sitting will fulfill these times and keep me busy. In my home, I ensure that my dog sleeps and naps comfortably when tired. I make sure that there’s food for her and water always refilled. I keep my dog active by walking around the neighborhood and going to the playground. I also play the guitar and sing songs to her when there is nothing else to do. When she wants to go outside, I let her run free in the backyard surrounded with fences and have a shaded area for her when it gets too hot. I would also leave the door open in case she wants a colder environment which is inside the house. In a client’s home, I would ensure that their pets are well fed and hydrated. If there is an accident, I would willingly be responsible for that and take care of it. I would make sure that their pets are also being engaged in activities so that they would feel less bored when the parents aren’t home.

“I am hesitant to tell you all how awesome Jack is, because I don't want to have to fight you over his availability in the future! That being said, well, it's true; he is awesome! My dogs love him. Now that in and of itself isn't that amazing because my dogs are wonderful and love most people automatically. However, I could tell that the affection from Jack was genuine as well... He genuinely seems to love my animals. He gave them their snacks everyday And played with them all day long. He sent a couple of pictures every day so I could see how the boys were doing. He even made sure he had WhatsApp on his phone so we could communicate while I was down in Mexico. Several times when it got really hot, he got them under the shade and sprayed them down with the hose. They loved it! He also took them out for walks, and even took them down to play in the river once which they loved!! The downside to that is now I'm going to have to take them to the river too... Jack sort of set a high watermark there, lol. Anyway, y'all know Rover ain't cheap so I paid a premium for Jack to stay with my babies, but I definitely got my money's worth. I will definitely use Jack again, and if I have to, I will outbid you for his services.”
