About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I've worked on horse farms since I was 16, earned my bachelors in equine science and have a masters of science degree. I currently have two dogs and two cats of my own. I also have a strong understanding of animal behaviors and body language. I am also very passionate in dog training as well. I have experience in administering IM medications and oral medications. I have worked for WAG! which is another walking/boarding platform where I would walk clients dogs on demand and also provided in home boarding. I am currently not working so I am home most of the day. A typical day for me starts between 8-10 am where I immediately let the dogs out to use the bathroom and then back in for breakfast. I occasionally leave the house to run errands but usually not longer than 2 hours. Can tailor to your dogs need if they can't be left alone. Throughout the day I will let the dogs outside as they wish and always with supervision. I feed dinner around 6:30pm. For drop in visits I am able to tailor for whatever your animals needs are and typically available for multiple drop in visits during the day if needed. I have a large fenced in yard. I have two friendly dogs and two friendly cats. I have multiple rooms if your pet needs so quiet time or space from the other animals. I am equipped with multiple crates and baby gates as well if needed. I have a backseat dog hammock and and dog seat belts if needed as well.

Occasionally, when noted, I will have to step out for an in-home dog training lesson or walk, but I am able to return promptly, within 1-2 hours. I have a secure, privacy fenced backyard with cold water bowls, shade, raised dog beds, and toys to climb and play on. We love to pull out the puppy pool or sprinkler on hot summer days! Please note, dogs are never left unattended while out. If dogs must be left unattended for a short time, I have a fully suited up kennel room complete with a TV (to play cartoons or music), comfy blankets and cool AC or warm heat. For safety purposes, boarders will sleep overnight and enjoy their meals in their crates. I am a self-employed business owner, and dog training and pet care is my full-time job. My schedule is very flexible, as nearly all of my time is spent working with dogs, pets and my clients. Dogs will be crated for safety anytime they cannot be actively supervised, as well as during mealtimes. I have a fully suited, cozy kennel room in my home with heat/AC, music and a TV for comfort, plus a camera recording video footage for additional safety. My home is proofed, and my backyard has a secure 6.5ft privacy fence. Dogs will never be left unsupervised in the home or yard.

I worked in a vet clinic for several years and I have experience with a variety of breeds. I enjoy spending time with and getting to know each and every animal since no two are ever the same. About: Hey there! I am a pet/animal lover and enthusiast. I would have all the animals in the world if I could. I currently have 1 dog, Kash, and 1 cat, Darla Jean. Animals and caring for them are my life! Here’s my why: My grandmother lost her husband at a young age. She never dated again. She took in dogs and taking care of those dogs became her life purpose. Growing up, I would always want to visit my grandmother so that I could stay up all night with her and take care of the dogs. It became our thing. I feel that I am now living out my grandmother’s purpose by fulfilling my own purpose in giving unconditional love and care to any animal that crosses my path, just as she would have done. I love animals, and quite honestly, more than people, haha! I look forward to meeting, loving on, and caring for your fur baby as if they are my own. ❤️🐾 I am a special education teacher full time, but my toddler and myself love to show unconditional love to animals by taking care of them like they are our own. I get to do what I love as a part time “side hustle” plus also show my little boy of my own how to treat and care for animals plus teaching some responsibility! I’m available evenings, most weekends, and most holidays/ school breaks. It says on my profile “no children in the home,” but since I started Rover, I have had a baby and there is a 2 year old in the home. I tried to edit that info but literally cannot find it anywhere. Just wanted to make sure that was said though. Anyway, I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own child.
